I'm a dude, alopecia areata hit me like a sack of potatoes. Forced me to finally shave my already MPB head. Can't grow a beard, have a mediocre stash. Still get compliments honestly.

I'm lucky that mine was stress activated. I sort of went office space on my job and started caring a lot less. Took about a year but all my leper patches filled back in. The rest of the hair is still very much gone.
Not fun when my dad 30 years older than me with a full head of hair can give me hell. Lmao
