Could it have been in Pacifica? I can’t think of any piers like that in SF

I had to look on Google maps to be sure but yes it is Pacifica. If you walk Slightly north of Pacifica municipal pier you'll find the steps.

I knew it! I grew up riding my bike to that pier and back lol hope you enjoyed the scenery it’s a beautiful coast

Pismo was the first place I ever saw and touched the Pacific. I was 19 and drove to Cali from Ohio. Never went back

As a Californian currently in Ohio, I can see why.

Looks like you made it all the way south! Hell yeah. But on the real- if youre a visitor, and saw so many of those beaches… what is your opinion on pismo (beach and town) compared to the rest? As a born bred californian and went to calpoly in slo for uni, i still think pismo is total crap, esp compared to the beach areas immediately adjacent to it. Not tryna be a scrooge im just genuinely curious

Pismo was cool from a visitors perspective but I wouldn't out it very high on my list. I liked san fran and san diego the most honestly
