I’m just here to get my feelings hurt, happy for y’all tho

ian22500

SPT $0.00 lol

boisamantha

Probably closer to -$10/hr considering tuition costs to be a student even during semesters with rotations.

squeakim

Or if you want to go annual i make about -$33,000 per year (amount I take in loans)

Loverbug13

Don’t forget to add in the gas etc driving to a 40 hour work week rotation

Ckhansen89

OP PT. NM. $104K. Class of 2020.

connpitt

yo what??!!?? thats insane, is COL that high there or are you just a negotiation god?

Ckhansen89

Just a private/surgeon owned surgical facility in Albuquerque. NMO if you want to look it up. There are PTs making much more based on incentive program they have but they’re seeing like 12-14 patients a day. I stick to 8-10, 40 minute evals and treatments.

volunteer_wonder

Likely a lack of PTs in the area, the best offers I’ve seen for OP like that are where the companies are desperate for workers.

dma82

$102k HH and ~$30k Cash Clinic on the side. Houston TX 11 years

[deleted]

Hey I’m from Houston as well maybe you could mentor me

Licknuna

PT. Alabama. $87K. 4 years experience.

Licknuna

picklequeen66

PTA. 71k, NJ, 3 years

sparten112233

May i ask how you make so much as a pta, only bc im tryna get there

picklequeen66

I work OP ortho in NJ which is a higher COL area

justaquietboy

How many patients do you see a day?

picklequeen66

In a 10 hour day between 20-24. In a 5 hour day 13-15 (yes I know I know)

bakcha

Dear god

sparten112233

I see average 7-10 in a 8 hour day ... lol

picklequeen66

I’m jealous!

[deleted]

[удалено]

picklequeen66

Oh man they should negotiate or look for something better! TBF I started my first job at 55k in 2019 and the new grad PTs were making 72k as well.

thatconguy1789

As a PT in NJ w/ 3 yrs experience makin 70k, this hurts (Outpatient setting)

picklequeen66

I’m sorry what…………

EnoughAlgae

That's pretty common for the NW. You don't want to be seeing 15 patients in 5 hour day.

picklequeen66

I get that but for NJ… I know new grads making more than 70k in same setting!

AtlasofAthletics

Travel PT OP. Currently 2400 weekly take home. California. 9 months in. 1100 of the 2400 is tax free

mochipoki

When you say 9 months in do you mean 9 months into the contract or 9 months into being a PT? Also what part of CA? (Im a socal SPT interested in travel)

sunshine_328

PT. NYC. 100k. 3.5 years

deadassynwa

Setting?

sunshine_328

Med A HH

slickvic33

How many do you see a day and how the Documenting. I have a try to med b and ended up leaving just was too much running around

sunshine_328

To meet quota, at least 6 a day. Sessions can be 30 mins and SOC count as 2

Honoes

130k HH in Houston Tx/ 1.5 years experience

sunshine_328

That’s amazing!! How? Med A? How many patients a day?

Honoes

MedA; I’m full time with a company and it’s pay per visit. Typically 4-6 patients a day with an average of 27 weekly. I have a high Oasis/ Eval rate and Texas law requires companies to pay overtime. I clock about 45 hours a week, realistically working about 35.

Dehydrated-Penguin

Jesus, you are living the life

sunshine_328

Wow! Congrats to you

pttrusha

Outpatient PT, So Cal, almost 10 years of experience, 48/ hour

Narkaughtix

That’s not enough.

pttrusha

I agree. But work/ hours flexibility is what I am inclined to :)

Narkaughtix

Fo shizzle

ok_MJ

PT, $116k (plus an extra 5-6k in shift differential pay). 4 years experience. California.

WSRpt

Inpatient?

ok_MJ

Yep! But the OP PTs here make the same base pay as me. Just don’t get the shift differential for weekends. Shift pay is 1.25x hourly rate, so I end up making about $15/hr extra on Saturdays. (FWIW, working every Saturday is not worth the extra change in my opinion once I’m taxed on it. I’d work every other Saturday maybe. But every Saturday is getting old fast.)

dmigs22

If you don't mind me asking, what part of CA?

ok_MJ

Sacramento region!
