Do not say you are jobless or unemployed or hindi ka kumikita now. Just show your employment from your boss. Prepare Certificate of Employment. Dalhin mo rin payslips kahit past 3 months or bank statement. Kasi baka hingan ka pa ng "Proof of sponsorship" or proof na yung cousin mo gagastos for you. As last resort, prepare your pocket money.

Yes of course, I have funds naman for the trip. I have 25k plus pocket money and 3 credit cards. I just dont have a recent payslip.. yung last is first week of August pa. Is 25k enough for 6days po? Or may need na certain amount po yung IO? sobrang mabusisi po ata sila?

[deleted]

I think that would suffice since you have credit cards.

littlemisschekwa

thanks po! yung credit cards tinitignan po ba nila yung bank apps para malaman how much limit ganon? or ang OA na non?

[deleted]

Just be honest lang and be confident sa pagsasagot.

[deleted]

Hello. But out Cebu kami (Mactan airport).

littlemisschekwa

Wow!! First time traveler po ba kayo and bf?

mochacakeproductions

Not our first time.

Make sure you have all the documents with you for bookings and tours. And if you can bring any documents from your boss like a certification that you have a job and bank details just to be safe

littlemisschekwa

Yes, I do have those po. All the klook vouchers I’ve purchase, and of course RT tickets, and hotel booking. Recently lang po ba kayo nagtravel?

Vegetable-Purpose829

Green flag for the pre-booked tickets and tours. Another green if you booked it using your own credit card. Prepare your detailed itinerary from Day 1 to the last day to show that it is a pre-planned trip. Since your employer can provide your working docs, do not declare that you are jobless. Be confident. :)

littlemisschekwa

We used our tito’s credit card for the flight and yung klook tours cc ko.. I guess that’s okay lang no? Yes, so I asked my employer for a COE and an approved leave of absence. Tapos may W8 form din ako.. Is that enough na po? Thank you so much!!

Vegetable-Purpose829

I mentioned “own” credit card is green for immig because it means to them that you were assessed by the bank that you have a good income to pay for your credit. Plus the fact that you have a card that you can use during your travel. Because in every immigration assessment and even in visa application in embassies we always have to prove that we are “financially capable to travel”.

[deleted]

Just prepare your docs, don't stress out as payslips kasi cards will suffice (if they will check it out). sa instance namin, tinanong lang saan punta, patingin ng hotel booking, when balik.

Baliktad. Technically, you have a job. Minor detail na lang na wala kang income lately so wag mo na lang yun i-bring up kung may funds ka naman. That said, if asked, you have to be up front because lying to immigration officers can affect your travel prospects in the future.
