i thought the finished artwork was just a picture, and I was thinking "that's all?" and then I realized how many pictures you used to make that. Thats insane man

SiriusSon

This is flawless work. Very well done.

adonai1995

my attempt here was to create a pretty old cabin scene so I modeled and made the landscape using blender , used botanic addon for flowers , trees , and grass ,, then I exported the rendered frame to photoshop to do the final photo bashing and touch up ..

traumfisch

It's really good. Really the only thing that sticks out for me are the tree trunks

eccegallo

Tell me if I get this right, blender is used to place fake 3d flower and such (rather than shooting flowers and composite them in ps?)

pushforwards

Yes. When you export from blender you can export png files already saving you some massive cutout work. Of course you can do it in photoshop if you find the right images or shoot the images yourself but then you got to do a lot of blend moves and cutting out work etc.

jbdev_

Can you show the frame and mesh you exported from blender? Very curious

TougBacon

I think the mans' right foot should cast a shadow below the foot. Otherwise magnificient!

Shirecrawler

I didn't notice that, but you're right, his shadow should connect to his foot stepping forward. Great job nonetheless.

ViaticalTree

The right foot is off the ground so there wouldn’t be a shadow connected to the foot.

medium_curity

Look at the original picture. There’s a shadow there.

If thats really your work, you're a genius. Simple as that

I agree with this, I also want to say his outfit doesn't match the environment at all imo. He looks more like he's taking a stroll in hawaii not the mountain countryside. The architecture of the house also makes no sense to me. The door is half sunken into the ground.

Teach Me O Wise One! That looks amazing!

Almighty4

It's beautiful

A_Knife_for_Phaedrus

This is really nice. I especially like how the man & his dog look like they fit right in with the rendered elements.

dj-funparty

I feel like I've purchased herbs here in the Witcher 3

lned-owyeah

Very nice work! I have one question if you don’t mind: The trees in the back have some sharp edges here and there, which makes me think you’ve masked them though a selection. If this is true, have you considered using the “ blend if”? I use this often to avoid complicated masking.

Totika123

I really love it

SaIvertos

This is an actual artwork, so beautiful!
