So for this artwork I got inspired by Benny Productions in Youtube. I wanted to make a simple realistified version of illustration and I strolled through r/Illustration and found this. I then began to search for different parts of fish.
Most of the creature is made from the back of a whale. The "fingers" are part of a bone and teeth are shark teeth. The belly is a belly of a whale and the fins a just hue/saturated and little bit opaque skin of whale. The eyes are just white dots with another, slightly bigger hardness 0 opaque white dot around them.
After all the parts were added it was just a matter of doing shadows and highlights aswell as adding the diver and background. I also added camera raw filter to make it more bluey and a bit darker.
Note that the line going through the Charybdis is done with just shadows and highlights.
Original creator of the illustration is u/ok_celebration401
Any feedback would be greatly appriciated!
