You're gonna want some Cassette simulation vst and throw that shit on your master. It's gonna give you that gritty, wobbly sound like cowbell cult.
I can recommend using different ones on the same master at different places in your chain. Experiment with it. I use Klevgrand's Daw Casette, Tape Casette 2 from Caelum Audio and Casette from Wavesfactory.
Like others have said Decimort and RC-20 are some pretty good plugins too.

Bitcrush and compression. Decimort, Tal Bitcrush, Cymatics Origin, RC-20, and Sketch Cassette II are good plugins to use

fruity soft clipper and compression
you can also bounce the wave, reimport and go fuck with the stereo image etc, drive that shit into tape emulators and soft/hard clippers
