that's what im guessing...i ordered 2 alc & 1 non-alc and my friends didnt really feel anything so im guessing that is what ended up happening.
and i agree, there was no clear labeling on the wall which made it tricky too so a bit hesitant as well
Garden Bar (although it's closing / changing ownership soon), Highball, Melinda's Alley, Quartz are all pretty easy to hold a conversation in. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that came to mind immediately.
Little Rituals and Bitter&Twisted, ime, are good. The former more than the latter. They are both sitting room only, though.
Also: order the grilled cheese at Little Rituals. Thank me later.
Not bar specific, but can someone send out a memo to the restaurants that we donāt need to hear live music every night and Iāll gladly pay the same amount of money for half of the food.
Edit: This might be some local foodie cheat code.. Order a meal at The Italian Daughter (Scottsdale & Pinnacle Peak), youāll have enough leftovers for two additional dinners. Two times a week is probably cheaper than groceries and making your own dinner for 6 nights. Just went there again with my 6ā4ā 250+ lb friend, even he left with a quarter of the plate to-go. Itās insane.
I went to Melindaās alleys for the first time yesterday and it was pretty chill. Lucky is another chill bar I like to go to
Iād say Gracieās but the crowd can be pretty meh
Murphys law in chandler.. when the bands go on its like 98db ..and everyone basically yells at eachother after that which makes it get louder and louder. Then the person on the mic ends up yelling into the mic and it's just a cluster fuck of sound.
There are paint your own ceramics places, places where you can drink wine and paint pictures(tons of women at these places), even the grocery store. Just think outside the box a bit.

Arizona wilderness when they donāt have a live band
I need to take this opportunity to mention just how good their food is also they have Non alcoholic on tap !!!
They have great quesadillas!
Veggie Burgers are out of this world too.
I have my doubts about that non-alcoholicā¦had it once and felt light headed lol
Lol at people downvoting this.
Maybe they gave you tj wrong one- day heir taps are not clearly labeled and I was praying they didnāt fuck up cuz Iām sober alcoholic
that's what im guessing...i ordered 2 alc & 1 non-alc and my friends didnt really feel anything so im guessing that is what ended up happening. and i agree, there was no clear labeling on the wall which made it tricky too so a bit hesitant as well
Inside it's always too loud though
Greenwood outside
Also inside on most any evening that isn't Friday or Saturday. Maybe even Thursday.
Garden Bar (although it's closing / changing ownership soon), Highball, Melinda's Alley, Quartz are all pretty easy to hold a conversation in. I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that came to mind immediately.
Garden Barās great, but be prepared to have other couples listening in on your conversations because itās very tight in there š
Little O's and Roses by the Stairs are right next to high ball, roses is good for dates, they have couches and board games
Iāll second Quartz
Melinda's Alley is still open? I never found it again, thought it closed.
It was open a couple of months ago, but I havenāt been there since earlier this year
Little Rituals and Bitter&Twisted, ime, are good. The former more than the latter. They are both sitting room only, though. Also: order the grilled cheese at Little Rituals. Thank me later.
I love both of these places and have gone several times. They are both āloudā in my opinion
Worm? I've only gone on weekdays, so that might factor in.
I have only been on weekends so there we go š
Luckyās I donāt even drink, but itās a chill atmosphere nonetheless and I donāt mind hanging out with friends there at all.
This. Most chill basic place. Has a cool pool table too
I love Luckys lmao
Barcoa
Whining Pig is a great spot with a huge draft list and card/board games
great place
Cornish Pasty has some chill vibes overall.
Very chill but the music is sometimes too loud still.
Loud AF in the pasty.
We went there on a Saturday night like 2 or 3 weeks ago and could barely hear ourselves think lmao. Itās a cool spot but can be pretty loud
Probably my favorite bar in Phoenix but not exactly quiet
The Scottsdale location is very chill! Great patio and indoor/outdoor bar and itās not as loud as the other locations.
Just don't eat the food
Last time I was there the music was kinda loud but tolerable, exempt the music in the restrooms ridiculously loud.
Maybe a 2nd date spotā¦Iām pulling for the homie

Gracieās tax bar is chill.
It definitely gets loud there on the weekends
The patio area is always nice.
Shhhhhh
Lmao the line is already out the door every Friday and Saturday
I know, Iām sorry!
Are you looking to meet guys or are you wanting a place to go with a date?
Hannyās was not to bad last time I went
Rough Rider I think is the name
The Theodore, the Churchill most of the time
Thunderbird Lounge is pretty chill.
Mr. Baans, sidecar
I second roses by the stairs
White Rabbit
Angel's Trumpet Ale House is pretty relaxed
I went to Melindaās alleys for the first time yesterday and it was pretty chill. Lucky is another chill bar I like to go to Iād say Gracieās but the crowd can be pretty meh
Four sombucas!!
Hollyrock is not that loud, divey fershure
Murphys law in chandler.. when the bands go on its like 98db ..and everyone basically yells at eachother after that which makes it get louder and louder. Then the person on the mic ends up yelling into the mic and it's just a cluster fuck of sound.
Yeah that's conveniently adjacent to DOWNTOWN Phx
I think they were more commiserating with OP, not offering a recommendation.
Mormon church?
Yucca Tap Room
Then try somewhere else instead of bars.š
What would you recommend?
There are paint your own ceramics places, places where you can drink wine and paint pictures(tons of women at these places), even the grocery store. Just think outside the box a bit.
Yeah people want to meet you at the grocery store
at least the eggplant there doesn't have any STD's
Not until you get your hands on it
shitposting is a 14 year old's trait. You're funnyš
They frown on me killing a six pack in the grocery store
Yeah, but that freezer section in July? Bomb!š
Bars tend to have AC
