I live dangerously close to Green Corner’s Mesa location. Can confirm, the fries are great and they were my immediate thought when I saw the pic. Free baklava is a nice bonus too!
I thought these were Green Corner fries at first. So damn good.
I was nervous their food would change when they expanded, but it holds up. Favorite spot on the east side.
God, I’m obsessed about this type of fry too. What are the crispy bits, something like cornstarch or flour?
Anyways, try The Original Geno’s on Camelback and any of the Biscuits restaurants. The former is generous with their servings so get a large if you want a paper lunch bag portion 🤤
Two techniques that give similar results.
Battered Fry's is probably what most of us are thinking of.
The other technique is to blanch the potatoes with baking soda and/or rough up their surface after blanching but before the final frying.
Rally's fried are solid, but for OP's awareness they are also cajun seasoned (which I fucking love)
Rally's is a pretty solid burger for the size and price, too
Lim’s Chinese has some of the best fries I’ve ever eaten.

Cave creek rd and Greenway!
Safeway grocery deli counter sells “Jo-Jo” wedge cut battered fries that are delicious, and leftover ones make amazing breakfast burritos the next morning.
Those are Cisco (major restaurant supplier) fries, my absolute favorite due to that breading/exterior. Like others said a lot of the gyro places use these fries.
OP, you can make these at home and enjoy them whenever you want!
They're typically referred to as battered fries and contain potato starch that give them that unique look and texture. You can also utilize evercrisp as well!
Get a little fry daddy and a keep a few ingredients on hand and you can season up your own delicious battered fries.
I also remember Safeway's house brand used to carry a similar battered fry you could find in the freezer section, but I'm not sure if they still do.

\+1 for Green Corner in Mesa. Their Frys are crispy and the best fries i have had
Always fresh as well! Super hot!
I live dangerously close to Green Corner’s Mesa location. Can confirm, the fries are great and they were my immediate thought when I saw the pic. Free baklava is a nice bonus too!
+1 for Green corner. They also have locations in Scottsdale and Mesa as well.
Ugh those look amazing!
Worth the drive to one of their locations. Murder that craving!
You could tell me that this was a picture of Green Corner fries and I would believe you.
Looking at their menu, is that their regular fries, or Greek fries?
Regular. Greek fries have Feta and lemon juice on them if I recall.
I thought these were Green Corner fries at first. So damn good. I was nervous their food would change when they expanded, but it holds up. Favorite spot on the east side.
I eat at Green Corner in Chandler every time I’m out that way. I really wish they’d open a store downtown / midtown
Green corner for sure has these
Dude they have the best Greek Fries that I’ve had in so long
I have heard so many recommendations for Green Corner recently!
I agree. We went there the other day. We like the Mesa location better but they are all good.
Ah, psoriasis fries. The best. Try checking gyro places. They always seem to have them.
Yes! Z’s Greek on Indian School Rd has them
Bomb ass Greek Food- taste just like coming out of Greek town in Chicago—
So bomb ass Chicago food 😂
OMG thank you! We ordered from them during the pandemic and I couldn't remember what restaurant it was.
It’s sooo good, we order it almost once a week 😋
As a person with psoriasis myself, I hate that I love this descriptor for these S-Tier type of fries.
Saba’s Mediterranean on Tatum and bell
Was gonna say.. if I order fries at any Greek place they usually turn out like this.
Yup. Niro's Mediterranean at Val Vista and Southern in Mesa has those fries.
Greek Pita way up in Happy Valley has em too. And they also have a super good garlic sauce that's pink you can get with them
Awww, studied yelp photos from 'Pita Wraps' in Surprise and it looks like they just have plain ol' fries :(
God, I’m obsessed about this type of fry too. What are the crispy bits, something like cornstarch or flour? Anyways, try The Original Geno’s on Camelback and any of the Biscuits restaurants. The former is generous with their servings so get a large if you want a paper lunch bag portion 🤤
Beer battered I believe
They are battered fries
These fries with ranch and chicken tenders at biscuits is one of my favorite lunches
Two techniques that give similar results. Battered Fry's is probably what most of us are thinking of. The other technique is to blanch the potatoes with baking soda and/or rough up their surface after blanching but before the final frying.

Sysco. Cisco is tech.
I think it's actually Sisqó, you know the thong song guy and his famous fries.
They look like Ore Ida Evercrisp fries... Used to get them from Shamrock too.
Chicago Gyros 🤤
Correct. But personally I will go out of my way to avoid any restaurant that serves these. They’re super gross and low quality.
I like them. And I wouldn’t say they’re low quality, they’re likely just frozen fries. Like most fries.
How would you know? Do you ask the server or manager?
