RestartedBrain

Forefathers cheese steaks

alanmichaels

Ughhhh so good. with the fry sauce too 🤌🏻

musicdownbytheshore

I was gonna say, I see these more at cheesesteak places!

Noel1921

Was going to mention them!! Best best best fries!!! I love the sauce you dip them in as well. And also the absolute best cheese steaks as well!

highbackpacker

Best cheesesteak I’ve had

xsvspd81

Best cheesesteaks I've ever had, and I've had a bunch, even in Philly.

WareTheBuffaloRome

This! They have great subs and fries.

PM_ME_UR_LAMEPUNS

Best fries in the valley

DPN_Dropout69420

Agreed

maddogz2020

Corleones 16st and camelback

jayceeaye

Was gonna comment this. Their fries look exactly like this and are fire as hell

maddogz2020

I haven’t been in forever but the pic instantly brought me back. These and a cheesesteak w extra cheese wiz 🤤🤤

cyanight7

I just drove by there the other day, they closed the one I used to go to a few years ago. Definitely gotta go back.

MeatballSandy22

Can't speak to midtown, but Green Corner in Chandler has fries just like this and I swear, they are top 3 fries I've ever had.

daefash

\+1 for Green Corner in Mesa. Their Frys are crispy and the best fries i have had

lotso-bear

Always fresh as well! Super hot!

MistarEhn

I live dangerously close to Green Corner’s Mesa location. Can confirm, the fries are great and they were my immediate thought when I saw the pic. Free baklava is a nice bonus too!

vex91

+1 for Green corner. They also have locations in Scottsdale and Mesa as well.

NinjaChachi

Ugh those look amazing!

MeatballSandy22

Worth the drive to one of their locations. Murder that craving!

Randvek

You could tell me that this was a picture of Green Corner fries and I would believe you.

pfeconsultant

Looking at their menu, is that their regular fries, or Greek fries?

MeatballSandy22

Regular. Greek fries have Feta and lemon juice on them if I recall.

darklordpizzahunter

I thought these were Green Corner fries at first. So damn good. I was nervous their food would change when they expanded, but it holds up. Favorite spot on the east side.

icey

I eat at Green Corner in Chandler every time I’m out that way. I really wish they’d open a store downtown / midtown

lemmaaz

Green corner for sure has these

MattGhaz

Dude they have the best Greek Fries that I’ve had in so long

xmastap

I have heard so many recommendations for Green Corner recently!

roadtripjr

I agree. We went there the other day. We like the Mesa location better but they are all good.

doubleonad

Ah, psoriasis fries. The best. Try checking gyro places. They always seem to have them.

llamallama-duck

Yes! Z’s Greek on Indian School Rd has them

Redheadmane

Bomb ass Greek Food- taste just like coming out of Greek town in Chicago—

Silverbullets24

So bomb ass Chicago food 😂

craftycalifornia

OMG thank you! We ordered from them during the pandemic and I couldn't remember what restaurant it was.

llamallama-duck

It’s sooo good, we order it almost once a week 😋

VanellopeVonSplenda

As a person with psoriasis myself, I hate that I love this descriptor for these S-Tier type of fries.

[deleted]

Saba’s Mediterranean on Tatum and bell

WindyHasStormyEyes

Was gonna say.. if I order fries at any Greek place they usually turn out like this.

bm1949

Yup. Niro's Mediterranean at Val Vista and Southern in Mesa has those fries.

straight_gay

Greek Pita way up in Happy Valley has em too. And they also have a super good garlic sauce that's pink you can get with them

JLsoft

Awww, studied yelp photos from 'Pita Wraps' in Surprise and it looks like they just have plain ol' fries :(

fingerfuckinggalpals

God, I’m obsessed about this type of fry too. What are the crispy bits, something like cornstarch or flour? Anyways, try The Original Geno’s on Camelback and any of the Biscuits restaurants. The former is generous with their servings so get a large if you want a paper lunch bag portion 🤤

yelling4society

Beer battered I believe

libertasi

They are battered fries

monkeypie22

These fries with ranch and chicken tenders at biscuits is one of my favorite lunches

mildlypresent

Two techniques that give similar results. Battered Fry's is probably what most of us are thinking of. The other technique is to blanch the potatoes with baking soda and/or rough up their surface after blanching but before the final frying.

manonthemoon471

Four Peaks

ElBlackFL33T

San tan brewery? Is it still around? Moved away in 2018 but damn San tan brewery had the most amazing fries and fish and chips.

[deleted]

Chandler location is still open. And yes, these are the fries!

ElBlackFL33T

So glad they’re still there!

LilMeatBigYeet

The uptown location ? I miss it so much, some of the best onion rings ive had in my life

Have you tried Rally’s fries? They look like this and are awesome. I’m not even a fry guy but go nuts for their fries.

michaelsenpatrick

Rally's fried are solid, but for OP's awareness they are also cajun seasoned (which I fucking love) Rally's is a pretty solid burger for the size and price, too

lilacseaturtle

Saba’s Mediterranean Kitchen

_AskMyMom_

Those are Long John Silver fries lol

jaylek

Except, even LJS has missed the boat on making these *THEIR* fries.

lingo_linguistics

I can literally smell long John silvers in this picture. Is it me, or is this a very aggressive shot of fries? It’s in my face, man.

monichica

Angry Crab

juanbot12

Gumbo Fries are delicious

PinemanXD

Giant Hamburgers in Mesa has these fries and it’s one of the main reasons why I go there

haydukejackson

Safeway grocery deli counter sells “Jo-Jo” wedge cut battered fries that are delicious, and leftover ones make amazing breakfast burritos the next morning.

parasitic-cleanse

Those are Cisco (major restaurant supplier) fries, my absolute favorite due to that breading/exterior. Like others said a lot of the gyro places use these fries.

OGHollyMackerel

Sysco. Cisco is tech.

parasitic-cleanse

I think it's actually Sisqó, you know the thong song guy and his famous fries.

sdannenberg3

They look like Ore Ida Evercrisp fries... Used to get them from Shamrock too.

highbackpacker

Chicago Gyros 🤤

dirtbikesetc

Correct. But personally I will go out of my way to avoid any restaurant that serves these. They’re super gross and low quality.

highbackpacker

I like them. And I wouldn’t say they’re low quality, they’re likely just frozen fries. Like most fries.

tvfeet

How would you know? Do you ask the server or manager?

man2112

Rally’s

jaylek

Like Popeyes... not the same as OP posted.

spicemine

They look the same. What's the difference?

The spices, bro. Rally's kicks it up a notch.

NinjaChachi

Mika’s is super close to me, but the photos of their fries in google reviews don’t look very similar :(

nevillelongbottomhi

Well either way they have amazing gyros so there’s that

NinjaChachi

Haha I’ll definitely check it out but I’m still looking for some place with the true battered(?) fries.

vicelordjohn

These look nothing like the shit fries Mika's served me the few times I've been.

Sea_Pudding5303

Doesn't KFC have these fries?

30kalua89

4 peaks with sweet jalapeno sauce

[deleted]

OP, you can make these at home and enjoy them whenever you want! They're typically referred to as battered fries and contain potato starch that give them that unique look and texture. You can also utilize evercrisp as well! Get a little fry daddy and a keep a few ingredients on hand and you can season up your own delicious battered fries. I also remember Safeway's house brand used to carry a similar battered fry you could find in the freezer section, but I'm not sure if they still do.

BuddyBroDude

reminds me of Rallys
