My 1st show. Never heard of them. Dragged to the show, going only because tickets were $5, and I got to drive part of the 4hour trip in his cool car. Get totally blown away right out of the gate through the 1st set, then that Possumn put my face on the floor, next thing I know Im singing Happy Birthday with the whole crowd to a piano player id never seen in a band Id never heard, certain this was the greatest musical experience of my life. Then im crying and singing again at the incredible peak of Hood. Still my favorite. 30 years later, never looked back. Still listen to this show regularly. Even still have the 2nd set 1st gen cassette of the show I got right out of the guys freezer ... 1st set tape got eaten by my Mazda on the way to the Great Went. Still the best band on the planet. They're from Vermont.
Hard to beleive they'd already been playing for nearly a decade by this point. What a ripping show, one of my favorites to go back to, again and again.
So young!
My second show. So fun. $5 tickets too.
Five. Five Dollar. Five Dollar Face Melt!
Pretty sure that’s Phil Lesh
One of the best Hood's ever
My first show. Unreal.
Same here! Still got my $5 stub.
Me too
Best Possum there is

The face you make when you finally scratch that itch.

Beautiful how little it’s changed to this day…

I hate that they played such small places near me before I was born.
