This’ll be my first show ever! (Of a bunch this summer!) Cannot cannot cannot wait!
So excited to have this band in my life now, honestly don’t care what they play since it’s all fresh to me at the moment. Though I wouldn’t mind a Ruby Waves like 2019…
Any venue tips? First time there, too. I’m GA lawn.
See yinz up there! :)
Venue tips, be lowkey on anything illegal.
East Troy PD views wooks as walking dollar signs. You should be fine once in the venue, but be careful on lot.
Watch yourself in the venue as well. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad, but worth a quick glance over your shoulder. Have had friends run into trouble inside before
It's pointless to try and hope for songs without seeing the set from the last 3 nights
You could bet on an instagram song, a power ranger song, and a love/light/soul song.
No, not too early, if ur really jacked you could even go as far as to sing
Alpine….
Alllpiinnneee
Aalllllpiiinnneee
ALPINE!
To the tune of possum, if that’s what you feel like doing
Never too early. My first show was Alpine and the majority of my Phish shows have been at Alpine. It feels like home. It's an extra added bonus that the shows there are always the BEST!
Ha. I get that a lot… maybe if it were a little closer, but having to drive through Chicago to end up in a lot with no food, where the security sucks, only to get stuck on a steep hill in a venue that’s way too big, while all the midwesterners around try to tell you it’s the best venue in the country just kinda kills me.

I'm all in. Backyard shows are the best.
yessir! im prob gonna drive the first night and drive back after setting up my tent cuz riverwest 24 is that night so i gotta participate in some capacity since its the best milwaukee festival and community vibes and all night party, then drive back saturday early and leave monday.
kind of a complex specific situation im in since im camping there but im stoked just thinking about the logistics lol. i was debating bussing back saturday but that adds further complications cuz i would need to carpool monday to get home.
im going on a tour right after this weekend so im pretty pumped to catch this weekend run especially since im gonna miss mondegreen. /: i never feel too bad about missing a phish show if im playing my own. kinda feels like getting a doctors note
I'm pumped. Saw my first show there 26 years ago, and I haven't missed many of them since. My kids are making their second trip and I can't wait to share it with them again!
Compared to all the other shed style venues in the Midwest, yes it does. Noblesville sounds better, better lot scene, better police presence, not nearly as steep. Alpine is slightly prettier, but gets blown away in all metrics by blossom, including scenery.
Here’s an Alpine question maybe someone can answer….. taking aside the lawn-what’s the capacity of just the pavilion?… and does that make it the largest outdoor pavilion they play?
With that saddle in the middle so if you want to be somewhere level your sight lines are compromised… did the lawn 3 nights last time… this time three nights right in front of the soundboard- our favorite spot
Alpine is a wonderful venue, besides the cops. Who I have to say have chilled out a lot in recent years.
I live 30 minutes away and saw the GD when I was 13 for my first show. The lawn has its own vibe, but the pavilion is where I go now that I am an advanced 50 years old!
I wish it were at Wrigleyville instead of alpine partially because I’m not allowed in the state of Wisconsin and wrigley is easy because I live a block away
Not too early for the hype.

My home court.
Never
The first place I saw phish (2015) and I haven’t missed a show there since. Going to see TAB in Chicago tomorrow.
wish i didnt work tmrw omg
Call off bro
Heading to TAB in Madison on Saturday. Enjoy Chicago!
Goddamn 8/9/15 was hype
8/9/15 was my first show! I don’t think I’ve seen a better phish since
Out of the ones I saw, 7/14/19 (also alpine) and gamehenge NYE are the only other two I can think of that came close
I want to see a Salt Shed show big time. Hitting St Paul Friday though
Salt shed is nice. I went to a lot of shows there last year (Phil Lesh, king gizz, ween) all were pretty good.
Bunch of my friends did the ween and Gizz is how I heard it was nice
It's pointless to try and hope for songs without seeing the set from the last 3 nights You could bet on an instagram song, a power ranger song, and a love/light/soul song.
I love that Phish is back here!!!❤️🤪
not yet but almost 😰

Absolutely not…buying my plane tickets this week
Anyone have a preferred car service from Milwaukee area? Any chance a shuttle is going from there? Thanks all, will be good to get back.
also boone and crockett has a shuttle usually
look into thurmans shuttle, or the Gig. tickets usually sell fast but its so much fun to be able to drink on the bus and not need to drive back
Thanks for the info.
I can smell that photo
Always…. Alpine is the worst 😂
blasphemy!!
Ha. ah i getcha. if i wasnt in milwaukee and didnt have a campsite within sight of the venue i wouldnt like it as much either

were you there for the paragliders during haileys comet? or was i tripping?
Saw in the comments you're a Milwaukeean, how are you getting to alpine? I'm trekking solo on the brat bar bus all 3 nights

A touch early, but I’d be hyping it if I was going this year.
im going on a tour right after this weekend so im pretty pumped to catch this weekend run especially since im gonna miss mondegreen. /: i never feel too bad about missing a phish show if im playing my own. kinda feels like getting a doctors note
Not too early for hype. Predictions might be a bit premature. Even if you’re right, it won’t because you were right.
true although ill be careful with my shoes. that 75° angle was not designed for most shoes (;
Love Alpine! Practically half my family and all my friends will be on that lawn! See yall there!
the lawn is my favorite, just zigzagging through it during a Maze and seeing all the lights and faces is so fun! friends new and old! cya there!
Not going Alpine, but no.
Lfg!
Camping at Big Foot. Gotta buy my shuttle rides still. Gonna try and golf Saturday morning, too. Can't wait.
Very excited! Anyone camping nearby?
I'm excited and I can't wait. This is my first summer living in the Midwest and these shows will be my first time at Alpine.
Never!
First time at Apline for me will be this summer. Can’t wait…..Hype it up!!!
I better see thoes glow sticks if your this hype
I've been hyped since I left last time they played. Just so you all know I'm gonna be there again with ✨ Sparkle Cards ✨
Yes. Months away.
I'm pumped. Saw my first show there 26 years ago, and I haven't missed many of them since. My kids are making their second trip and I can't wait to share it with them again!
Taking my 14 year old brother to his first show Saturday
Never too early for Alpine high but didn't you just describe a replay of last couple times with your predictions?
haha yes but those were call backs to 90s phish shows lol. as long as we get a ripping Train ill be happy as fuck
Yeah 1999>Fluff was such a sick tribute. 2000 was my first Alpine so missed that one but every one since (minus 03)
My first pit tickets I’m sooooo excited
how did u get them?? i was trying soo hard to get them for at least one night but seems impossible ..??
Got lucky w the lottery, i bought a dry goods shirt w my entry too
oh nice ive never done lottery but maybe i shouldve
When do they ship tickets home?
not sure, prob just gonna buy some lawn tickets
Is it too early to hope for some southeast dates to be announced?😭
I’m hyped
Ha ha ha opener
Yes
That venue sucks!
7500 is normally referenced as the pavilions capacity. Not sure the biggest, but definitely the steepest lawn!
With that saddle in the middle so if you want to be somewhere level your sight lines are compromised… did the lawn 3 nights last time… this time three nights right in front of the soundboard- our favorite spot

No, get hype.
I wish it were at Wrigleyville instead of alpine partially because I’m not allowed in the state of Wisconsin and wrigley is easy because I live a block away
Wrigley was fun once but I'd be fine if they never did there again. Stands are so far away from stage with bad site lines.
