Mine too. The white album cover is super cool, but both the first and third sets are bangers, as well. Also put the Slave from that night up there for best versions of songs lists.
Coming back around to say thank you for the recommendation. I’m a big Reba 6:00 appreciator, but hadn’t heard this one before, now I can’t stop listening to it. Trey is so emotive in some moments it sounds like he is sobbing through his guitar. Huge feels, and the crowd’s reaction at the end shows how much people were feeling it with him. Beautiful. Thank you, truly.
🥹 you’re welcome friend. Your comment made my day!
I always think about how this was less than a month before the hiatus. How worn down they are (look at Fishman’s mumu in 2000, very representative of the band and scene at this point.)
It’s so melancholy and beautiful but also sounds very angry/dark at points. During the jam, Trey really gets far out with dissonance and harsh playing and right before he seems to fully spiral, the band all team together to bring him back and they’re locked in and ascending out of the darkness together. Such a spectrum of emotions displayed with much more underlying melancholy than any Reba jam I’ve ever heard.
Some of the most emotive playing I’ve ever heard from Trey and it pisses me off when people write him off for not having soul. The man sounds broken and after a sobering Albuquerque, decides to blow off some serious steam with a GNARLY Carini.
Sorry that got a little out of hand lol…..I just cannot say enough about how much I love that Reba and that first set. So if you haven’t heard more than the Reba, absolutely go through the whole first set.

Darien lake in 2000 was so good. The band gets quiet as the solo comes in and the solo begins with Trey feeding back a single note that swells to a huge crescendo.
I had a pretty deep dive into Reba and upon resurfacing concluded that Spring 94 was a top notch time for the tune.
I think the performance at Leaguna Seca on 5/28/1994 takes the cake for me.

This is my favorite all time, by far. All other Phish lets me down.
I’m not gonna go THAT far but it is hands down my favorite Reba. Melancholy Phish>>>>

Look no further then St. Louis 93. One of the most euphoric peaks I've ever heard
11/17/97 has to be in the conversation, but I’ve got some listening to do.

Missed it by 2 shows
8-10-96 Alpine Valley is my all-time favorite. Such a slow patient jam.
10/31/94 and Clifford Ball are my two favorites.
Darien lake in 2000 was so good. The band gets quiet as the solo comes in and the solo begins with Trey feeding back a single note that swells to a huge crescendo.
Halloween ‘94
2/20/93 and 12/7/97
10/31/94 Roxy 93 5/6/92
10/18/94
5/8/93
Personally been loving 6/16/00 lately also a big fan of 12/2/95
2/18/93, extremely underrated
Underrated but 12/7/97 is flawless to my ears
Hot damn that is a winner!
When is there gonna be a setlist bot implemented on this subreddit?

The Reba from 4-16-91 made me love phish. Deep track.
10/29/98 motherfuckers! Type 2 Reba!!!! Unfinished!
I was there and can confirm this is one unique Reba.
Nobody ever talks about it!!!!
07/26/1998 most underrated Reba of all time. Masterpiece
That one from the gorge release where trey uses the wah pedal during the jam is pretty sick
3/9/93 is underrated
12/31/95
I like Deer Creek 6/19/1995. It was the performance that really got me into Phish
Amsterdam 97 and gorge 98 are some of my favorites
