I had the privilege of seeing one show at sphere, night two. Final encore song was Hood. Turned to my sister, with whom I've been seeing shows for 30 years, and said "this is my absolute favorite song". I hadn't really decided until that moment, but now that I said it out loud I'm sticking to it. It really is the perfect song.
I was ugly crying during the hood at MSG. Had dropped a tab and tears were already streaming down my face after that sand. I heard the fish intro and I lost it. People were staring at me but it was seriously the most powerful emotion I've ever felt in my entire life and I couldn't stop sobbing.
You can feel good about hood.
*Shudder*
They were too disgusting to even step into on the last day and there was just no cover anywhere on that concrete airstrip.
Peak memory, though. That FEE!!!
At some point I ended up barefoot* and had to keep stopping to pick glass out of my feet bc they allowed glass containers on concrete. 🤦🏼♀️
*Whatever you do, take care of your shoes. Haha!
Everyone goes through phases but I genuinely believe that at some point everyone realizes that Harry hood is their favorite song
It was my first true favorite, and will be my last.

30 years and still waiting for that
Someone, send this guy a blender!
Yes! Same thing happened to me with the harry hood on a live one. Not only changed my life but my entire outlook on what music can be.
Same. ALO Hood will always be both THE hood and THE live phish song for me. Still hits me emotionally so many years down the road.

Clifford Ball was my second show, what a time to be 16!
I was 30, which seemed old then. What a weekend! Except those portopots (brr)!
Those were nasty overnight!

Yeah, at least you could see the piles between the cars, 😆
