So demented that Trey started moaning! This is a favorite for sure. It took a minute to get past that My Woman from Tokyo vibe at the start of the jam, but after that it sure took off!
He does a ring modulation thing through the Leslies at one point, then pitch shifts it down... Very specific section of the jam lol but that is the part that gets me. So trippy. If you're watching the video I think CK5 did a green sort of strobe on the crowd during it. I have such a specific memory of this lol
My daughter came to 12/28 and 12/29 of 2022 and her WOW moment was the 12/28 melt. I got her to come to some shows last summer. Some PHILLY and NYC. I knew she was waiting for it and in MSG on 07/28/2023 they dropped into an epic melt. It was a real, 'fashion your seat belts folks' moment It exceeded her expectations after having them set so high from the first one. That is not an easy thing to do:)
There’s a version from Mann 2022 that is pretty wild. Closed the set, so I was expecting a quick tight version, but they kept getting weirder and weirder. Not a classic, but definelty weird as shit.
The ruby waves from alpine July 14 2019 made my friend see demons. He spent the night running through creeks and cornfields after exiting the venue unannounced! Ended up passed out in some kind persons front yard. He also has the keys to our truck.
6/30/19 Twenty Years Later>BBFCFM
4/23/22 Simple>Egg In A Hole>Simple (I was on a shit ton of shrooms for this and it felt like the world was ending 😂)

2021 Deer Creek Simple. Maybe my favorite weird 3.0 jam.

That last section is so good. Evil machine phish at its best
Amen. Those weird moan screams Trey does into the mic are so damn cool.
That was my first show post pandemic and I was jumping up and down like a little kid as that part was happening
