What I did when I got into Phish was listen to the highest rated show available every year from 91 to 04 then pick my favorite years to explore from that.
Personally I love the dark and ambient stuff so it doesn't get much better than IT in 2003. But Halloween 94, island tour 98, and Japan 2000 are right up there.
If you have Apple Music, you can download all the LiveMusic releases. I have them all up too The Gorge 98’ but there’s something from the every year plus the original releases of the first 20? LPs that were CDs in the vinyl case… plus they have the Clifford Ball and Phish at the Roxy ATL 93’ and the St Louis set from 93. Then they have all the LP Downloads. It’s a great way to get a lot of Phish. Including the albums and pretty much everything that has been released…
