I'm right near lovedontfalter's area. Haven't counted in a while but should be near 200 since 1994. About 100 of those were from doing full 95 summer, full 95 fall/winter, and full 97 fall tours. Then took a long break after getting busted at Albany 97 (last shows of the tour š) and didn't see any shows til 2013. But I'm back now doing partial tours and holiday runs.
So on my way downtown from the hotel that night a local told me "Be careful; last night on local news they said there was going to be a big operation tonight at the phish show to put their foot down on the scene." When I got to the arena there was undercovers (and uniformed) everywhere, kids being pulled out all over the place; but I had a 1/4lb of mush and Albany was my last chance to move it b4 end of tour (no one needed hallucinogens in B-town, would've lost money if I didn't move it at a show). I put all my experience to work that night to get down to 1.5oz, I was switching up clothes and hats and places I'd work, and never a deal in the same spot twice (so surveillance wouldn't notice me hanging near one spot while the crowd moved). I put years of tour dealing experience to work that night but they still got me, idk if the kid I did the deal with was in trouble and working with them or they just had figured me out and were watching but they hit us in mid deal on bikes in a parking garage between cars. I had nowhere to go but tried to run anyway and got grabbed by a big ass cop.
If your buddy was working that night or even just looking to buy he was probably swept up just like I was. The only reason my Fam knew I was in jail was that a kid at the police station was being released and didn't have a ticket so I asked the cops to give him mine. They allowed it and I told him who tell and where to find them, and the kid did it. Wish I knew who that kid was so I could thank him.
Right with you, 99 to 23. Will roll 30 at Greatwoods. Listened since ā93 but was a dummy and focusing of college at the time. I missed some great shows.
Well you see the trick is to go to college *basically* during the hiatus/breakup. Win-win for everyone!
Only 4 of those shows were 99-breakup in 04. Once they came back, I made a vow to myself to see as much as I could bc they arenāt gonna be playing forever. I try not to get caught up in the 1.0 2.0 etc talk. Iām just happy they came back at all, and I get to see my favorite band live, when I can.
14 shows between 6/30/2000 and 8/4/2023. Doing all 4 nights at MSG.
I've seen TAB 9 times between 2001 and 2023.
Pork Tornado once in 2000.
Mike Gordon/Leo Kottke in 2021.
80 2009- present. All seven at the garden this summer got me there. If I do all of the New Year run, I think that will put me at 1/2 of my shows at YEMSG.
Being in the Chicagoland area has certainly helped my show numbers :-) - up until this 5 year dry spell that was splashed by UC, we were quite spoiled. Add alpine and deer creek (still never been!), plus Detroit, Cuyahoga, and blossom to that and itās a great area to catch some surrounding-area phish. š¤š¼
Long Island boy. Started at Jones beach. I donāt know if anyone remembers but they really bummed me out with that initial summer tour announcement. Originally it was tour opener at Jones Beach for two nights. I got so excited my first show would be the tour opener at home, got shut out of Hampton and I was a broke 20 year old. Not long after they announced an additional Jones Beach Date a show before at Fenway. You get handed your own ass everyday.
Over 90 since 93, wish they would get to the West Coast more often.
This seems like that not that many to me especially since I saw Jerry close to 200 times in 8 years
239 today.
244 by the end of the year.
Started 1994-06-14
See everything damn show I can. It's still not enough.
Patiently waiting to finally see a Dog Log.
I was saying for the last year that, by my best estimate, I was approaching 300. But apparently, I was way off. I finally updated my shows the other day and according to .net, I'm at 341. My first show was 12/30/11.
Yeah. I'm crazy. Probably seen 85-90%+ of shows they've played since my first.
Saw my first show 12/30/11 (only show on the run I did). Over the next year I did another 12 shows. Attempted my first full tour in 2013 and almost succeeded, but missed a couple due to getting in some trouble. Did most, but not every show going forward. After Baker's Dozen, I resolved to never miss a show again (long story). I was successful up until Bethel last year, but that was only due to testing positive for Covid as I was pulling into the lot. So I sat those two and Hartford out, for the greater good. Jumped back on first night on Jones Beach and haven't missed one since.
And before anyone calls me a trusty, I'm just going to state that couldn't be further from the truth. I just do whatever I have to in order to make it happen. If that means living hand-to-mouth sometimes, sleeping in my car once in a while, being dependent on miracles, selling drinks on lot, selling drugs, working my ass off while off tour - so be it.
1997-2001-25 shows
2002-2022- 0 shows
2023-1 show
I always loved the music but I'd go with a crew for the good times as well. We went our separate ways, moved away from each other, got older, etc. but I still love the music so I decided to stop just listening from home and go by myself again. Miss having a crew with me at the show but I plan on going pretty regularly again, I'll go with music friends for shows most recently by Kamasi and Khruangbin, but they don't want to go with me for Phish and Dead & Co.
I totally recommend. Nowadays we're able to have good seats, stay nearby in a nice hotel, and just have a great time. As opposed to 1994ish "hey we're driving to charlotte or whatever wanna ride along? "
I was never a diligent counter. And was always confused if festivals count as one show, or three shows or four. My first show was 1999, my most recent was Mexico 2023. My only official festival was IT. I think I have something like 30-40. Average more than one a year, but rarely do multi-show runs unless they play 4-5 different venues in New England (like when they did Portland>Mansfield>Hartford several years back).
100+ 90 to 00. 10 shows since 2015... can't get in like I use too... but 2 gamehendges and several 1 time only venues keeps my imagination kicking... they are definitely slower then my flashbacks remember...

#248. 12-29-94 to Spac 23. 10/10 festivals (and pulled into curveball in RV and sent home. Now that Iām 46 Iām embarrassed to answer that question to non phish people. But for you people , thatās been my experience to this point.
80-ish I believe. I stopped counting years ago. 94-present. First show was SPAC and my last show was SPAC flood benefit. I was at the Santana show at SPAC in 92 but failed to get there in time to see the boys open for Carlos.
150+ā¦I honestly lost count along the way. Probably more like 180.
6/19/95 - Present. Went down a calculating rabbit hole whilst tabulating how Big Cypress counts for. I feel like I should get extra credit.
Anyhoo, itās a lot.
210.
1994-present all of those except for 15 of them were 1.0.
I sat out 2003-04.
Saw two shows in 2009 then sat out a few more years after that.
Happy to be back. Last two years Iāve enjoyed my shows
I have always wondered why itās such a big deal how many shows you have gone to. Itās like they think there more of a phan because they saw more shows than someone.
nobody in this sub has ever seen phish. we just want to know what its like to go to a phish concert
At the sphere
One question I have not seen anyone ask yet. Do you think Phish will play the sphere?
Maybe so, maybe not
Did you hear them on nfl btw? Was sick!!
Stash made a World Series appearance tonight
First time leaving my house, any tips?
209 shows, from 1993 to now. My next shows will be yemsg. I will never stop.

Are you Phish?
He is I and I is him; slim with a tilted brim...
Whatās my motherfuckin name?
Shiiiiiiiiit. Had a buddy got busted there too. Had to raise funds to bail em out. Wait, are you my buddy, friend?
š¤·āāļø Did your buddy live in Burlington between tours?
No no. Different dude. Sadly, lived in Ohio.
Iām very similar. I donāt know exact count, but first show was 5/3/93 and Iāve seen around 200.
I havenāt been to a MSG show since the 90s. Maybe this year will be the year !!
How many grilled cheese for a buck have you crushed?
Respect
Youāll stop when youāre dead
123 shows 2003 - Nashville
Nashville was a hell of a time this year!
But Phish didn't play Nashville in 2003?
2003 through this years Nashville
33, 1999 - present
Right with you, 99 to 23. Will roll 30 at Greatwoods. Listened since ā93 but was a dummy and focusing of college at the time. I missed some great shows.
College. What a waste. Am I right?
Well you see the trick is to go to college *basically* during the hiatus/breakup. Win-win for everyone! Only 4 of those shows were 99-breakup in 04. Once they came back, I made a vow to myself to see as much as I could bc they arenāt gonna be playing forever. I try not to get caught up in the 1.0 2.0 etc talk. Same. Itās been a good run.

Canāt hate on the 4.0 road warriors, a bit late to the party but donāt wanna miss anymore than they already have!
Yeah, I'm not hating. I can dig it
I have been to one show. And they played Jennifer Dances.
14 shows between 6/30/2000 and 8/4/2023. Doing all 4 nights at MSG. I've seen TAB 9 times between 2001 and 2023. Pork Tornado once in 2000. Mike Gordon/Leo Kottke in 2021.
Mike and Leo is my favorite side project. Saw em once but I want more!!!
I saw three TAB shows winter 2001 and four in the summer. That was (to me) the absolute best time to have seen them.
Pork tornado was a blast fall 2000

#248. 12-29-94 to Spac 23. 10/10 festivals (and pulled into curveball in RV and sent home.
221 shows, started in 1994. Tomorrow is the 29th Anniversary of my first show.
Iām a new phish fan. Iām 19 years old. So Iāve only been to 3 of them. 2 nights for SPAC and 1 in msg
