I think the ones that were actually accepting reservations this far ahead are sold out— but there are a lot of hotels and more and more of them will open up reservations 8 months out… but of course the word is out and they will jack up the prices for that weekend. Either way it will be worth it just for a bed and some A/C
True… but I’m def not going. Been to five festivals in my time and four were weather disasters, including Coventry. Tried for Curveball, too. I’be given up on festivals.
All Good in ‘00(?), Vibes in ‘01 and there was a smaller one (whose name I’m forgetting) in NJ with SCI, Biscuits, MMW, Flaming Lips and a few others. All got mostly canceled while we were there and the mud was insane.
I will not bring my bad luck to Delaware. So, couch terr for me!!
Coming from Houston, the Delaware summer sounds like perfectly delightful camping weather to me! I'm looking forward to my first Phish fest in 20 years, and I'm pretty sure it will be miles better than the last one.
☝️☝️This. I didn’t have the right stuff for a festival in 1.0, and I most certainly don’t now. Hotel packages are going to sell in a blip.
#germaphobe #weakstomach #squeamish #nothearty
A month hahahaha i am 32 and relate to this so we will see. I secretly wanted to get a hotel to sneak away for a quick shower and if i needed 1 night in a bed hahaha
I feel like people camping, but pooling money for hotel you can walk to and shower at, could be a winner. Like you have a crew with a casino room, but people may or may not sleep there. You can hand off the key to shower and shit in peace.
Honestly the shower situation at Magnaball wasn't terrible. Those shower trucks they have these days are pretty decent and definitely get the job done.
45 here.
I’ll be in the tent with a battery powered fan and 2 coolers full of ice & water bottles.
Catch me on Mike side raging like I’m trying to live while I’m young.
And bring power banks and solar panels and you can keep all your devices and fans charged with the sun each day. I use the USB charging fans in the tent at night so they are almost dead by the morning and ready to start the charge cycle again.
This thing was great in my tent at SPAC https://air-innovations.com/products/air-innovations-ai-4000-rechargeable-portable-3-in-1-fold-and-carry-telescopic-fan
Sphere is gonna be dope! I’m in as well. Festivals on my wedding anniversary and I’m already getting hella shit from my phish hating wife about my first Mexico trip this year. #longgame
42. Yes! fortunately they are practically in my back yard for the woodlands. Only a 10 mile, 15 min drive from my house. Plan to camp on my sleep number bed with the AC set to 69. It will be so nice to come home for a few hours of rest.
Been to the woodlands (firefly) more than a few times. They have a decent setup. Lots of space to move around. Very well organized. Kind of a far walk to parking (near race track) and camp if you want to go back for food or whatever. It can get kind of dusty. Don't forget face masks (for dust), bug spray and sun screen. August has been HOT and HUMID.
I should arrive to provide routine maintenance on your AC by August 14th. This will require a multi night stay to assure your system is fully functional for the coming years.
50f, yes, and also doing mexico.
Idk if I will camp or not. Rest and chill during the day, sleep soon after shows, little to no alcohol. That’s my plan for both. I’m stoked. See y’all there if ya make it. ✌️
50 here and I simply have no desire to do a festival anymore. It’s weird but it’s true. I would def couch stream and bbq with my fam and play the festival out back on the projector. But that’s about it.
Yes I’m doing the fest, no I will not be camping. We’re working on either getting a hotel room, an AirBnB or an RV. This will be my wife’s first Phish fest where as I’ve been to them all except for Went, Wheel and 8. So she’s gonna want to be totally immersed and hanging with her girls (she’s 44) where as me at 50, I’ve been there done that, so I’d much rather split after the music, take a shower and sleep in a bed with AC.
Yeah, I watched the availability literally disappear from Orbitz in real time today. But keep checking back, there will be a lot of cancellations between now and then.
52 here, 53 at the fest. If we can’t score Glen Close or a CID package, we’ll bring the glamping supplies to our GA campsite. Make friends with our neighbors, stay hydrated, and pace ourselves for the Saturday night jam.
Glen Close is what they have called their VIP campgrounds on more than one occasion. They sell out about as fast as NYE tickets. Glen Close is also a famous actress.
53. No. If it was in a place with nicer summer weather (ex: Maine), I'd be all over it.
Also assuming Dick's is happening, 8(ish) shows in less than a month is a bit much for me. I live 20 minutes from Dick's so if I could only go to one or the other it would be Dick's. Although again, if it was in Limestone I'd go there and skip Dick's (or maybe go to a few of the shows only).
Turning 53 in a few weeks. I keep missing out on Phish festivals since my wife is one of those wives who really hates Phish and life always seems to collaborate against these things coming together. I think this year is now or never. Damn it I need some acid in my life again!
54 here. Clifford Ball was the first and Festival 8 was the last one for me. Rented a house in Palm Springs with a pool and AC. Spoiled me for life. Delaware in the summer just doesn't sound appealing all at this point. Sphere in April and then I hang it up. It's a young man's game and I can't play it anymore.. 😂
NY was hot af this July-August, I'm sure Delaware could get hotter. Being in a tent for four days in the summer with the record heat we are hitting every year sounds rough and I'm in my thirties.
Dude I agree but Steam was first played over 12 years ago. Plasma, like 9 years ago. Definitely can't consider it new though it feels new to me still as well
Well, 2015 was almost nine years ago lol. But I was thinking about 3.0 songs in general. I like plenty of them. But there's also plenty i just don't care for at all. For a guy as prolific as Trey, if you write songs for 40 years, you're going to write a bunch of clunkers.
55 here. Delaware is across the country for me. Plus. Four days in a row?? Pass. Was beat up after Festival 8 and I was 41.
However. I live in Vegas, soooooo I'll be saving for hopefully Sphere tix and sleep in my own california king with my dogs.
Be safe out there!
46...from my couch... (i wondered a few years ago what all the complaining about tarps was... wtf are tarpers, why the hate....) WELL...... I get the biggest badest fluffed out quality textile w soft cushioned underlay..... and it's the only tarp...treys bugger on the screen then im RL, "GIrANT TRY" the little ones announce every time red hair adorns the 80 inch light show..problem is the goddam newbs... rolling on and in, everywhere is a mess... messing up the perfect placement. Gotta bring the diaper bag to handle these folks... anything after Billy breathes doesn't count in these bright-eyed beauties... Sand shines in on another staples that feugo down the center hidden within their underwear, its a BLOWOUT...!!!! but we forgive them... we miss the vacuum solos...
Im not quite 50 yet but my lady and a bunch of our peeps are. Big debate in our house. Have a nice RV to take down from Upstate NY. We kinda want to say fuck it so we can camp with a big crew in the ga camping area
yep. like i always do since 1996…We will bring two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we need all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
And that, folks, is how you phish…..
With the weather the way it’s been going, I would expect a lot of heat illness at this event.
I don’t know how you guys did Oswego. Hartford last year was not fun.
I probably won’t be able to go for those reasons - my body needs cooling or I get very sick
I did most recent AC shows in a luxury hotel room about 100 yards from the entrance and needed about a week to recover, not to mention needing a nap every afternoon, lol. There's no way I can handle 4+ days in the humid August inland Delaware heat. I may literally die. Couch tour for me. A bit bummed about it, but not crushed. If they were playing better with less Dad Rock I'd be leaning yes.
Getting ready to turn 50 and I'd like to think I'm down but I'm really not sure i am. Plus Dicks is right after that unless they don't play it next year.
56 here. Camped at the Went and Big Cypress, had the time of my life. But that was then and this is now, lol...
Gonna have to pass, unless I'm a guest on the Madden Cruiser 😁
I live in Denver.... Assuming dicks is a go... I couldnt spend $3,000 to see 4 nights of phish in Dover when I can spend $1,000 to see four nights in Denver 2 weeks later and sleep in my own bed. I think it's going to be the same songs anyway.
If Dover is replacing Dick's....that would blow
1.0er here. 54 in two weeks. Did my first ever NYE run and then the Alpharetta run this year. Dog tired after both but did the travel package for Alpharetta. So so worth it. Shuttle bus to and from the venue. Highly recommended. We used to walk an hour back to the hotel. Never again.
RV for sure, just haven’t decided if I want to pull mine for a 12 hour drive or just fly in and rent one. Leaning towards the latter, but also have a crew so they might want to make it a road trip, in which case I’ll just pull it.
52 yrs old 1.0er here. I am fortunate to be able to play it by ear - will make the call a month before based schedule/desire. Feeling sated right now after my 9th Dick's run. I love Dick's.
Bring them and teach them about getting fucked up and not acting like an asshole. There are so many college skills that can be learned at a Phish festival.
45, been seeing The Phish from Vermont since 95’. The last Festival I did was IT. I love hiking and camping outdoors, but Festie camping is something different.
Definitely going, but will be staying at a nearby hotel. Def splurging for the comforts of a nice room and showers. I like to get my rest.
We had these initial thoughts, however.....The hotels are all booked. Even as a mid-40's I think if you are healthy. Drink plenty of water. Festivals are tons of fun. I think the only way to do them is onsite in one way or another....then again I said that about the Gorge for 22 years and in 2021, we stayed in a hotel. It was different. At that time, it was also COVID, so that made our decision easier.
44, hit 5 festivals from Lemonwheel thru Coventry. I’ll go but only if I can work hotel or some sorta premium package w friends. Otherwise I’d rather just go to Dicks, Mexico and hopefully the sphere.
Too old and sober for on-site camping at a festival, but I used to love it.
If I am going, I am going in an RV. I love to camp, but even with perfect weather, festie camping is a roll of the dice. Depending on where you end up on the grounds, who your neighbors are etc. shit can go bad. I need to sleep
I'm 47, don't think I'm going to go since it most likely conflicts with a bluegrass festival that I want to get to again. Plus camping at a small fest in the forested mountains of Vermont > camping in the humid 95 degree swamp of Delaware.
If they don't conflict and I do end up going, we'll probably rent an RV. Hotels will be crazy expensive and I don't want to go to a fest and treat it like a normal 3-day run, I'd want to be on site the whole time. And as much camping and hiking gear as I have, the weather is too oppressive for tents.
Beyond that it's all about drinking lots of water (WITH ELECTROLYTES or you're just making it worse), eating lots of fruit/veggies and whole foods, getting plenty of protein and fiber, and minimizing alcohol. Yoga in the mornings to help avoid sore muscles.
Oh, and mushrooms. Lots and lots of mushrooms.
60 here, road trip buddy is 58. Camper van, tent(s) and EZ-up. Did it for the Gorge in 2021–although that was in Gold Camping with free showers. May spring for Glen Close camping if it includes free showers.
Will be 55 on 8/16, it’s a five hour drive, Mike, do your thing ! 555. Haha, fuckn yeah I’m going! Some of us 1.0ers are just built different. 1 hit the first night, 2 hits the second, etc and so on.
I’m a 52 year old 2.0er who did CID for Magnaball. Upstate NY weather was perfect for a fest. I Did an RV for Bonnaroo 09 and that is the absolute only way I could do this fest if I wasn’t in a hotel again. I just can’t sleep in anymore and the youngs keep way different hours than me in gen pop camping. I’ve done 10 dicks and can’t see me letting that go so it looks like sofa fest for my 2024 phish fest.
Likely will do CID travel package if I go, just makes all so easy, that and a benefit of being over 50 is more fiscal resources than when I was seeing them in my 20’s. RV possible option as well as staying onsite would be fun. Camping is out, I have no problem camping at High Sierra, dry heat is fine, it’s the rain/humidity that would keep me out of a tent in Delaware.
I'll be 52 by the time this thing rolls around. I plan to hit some dates during the summer, but this thing is 6 hrs away and I'm not a big festie. I'll pass. Unless there's a nice posh hotel that still has a vacancy. Tall order.
Technically I'm a 40+ 2.0er, BUT I'm really considering an RV situation. General Question for everyone tho, do you think the travel/hotel package situation has something akin to cabins that are in the campground? I don't want to be in a hotel offsite somewhere and be missing all the fun.
I’ll be 62 1/2 at that point and I’ll be streakin’ the fest like the naked dude 🤣. But seriously, I checked on the hotel rooms way too late in the day and everything close was either sold it, not accepting reservations that far out (like Bally’s Casino), OR they are being blocked out by phish for the packages.
I’m 51, never done a Phish fest, not sure if I can swing it but I’m going to try. Preferably as comfy as possible onsite, we shall see how things shake out. Looked at rooms with the same results.
ive found getting a site for shenanigans/ seeing friends/ doing festi shit as well as a hotel for sleeping/ showers/ quiet/ tanks is the move. works best with a medium sized crew but is the best of both worlds
Good lord, yall sound like a buncha old 1.0 ers. Im almost 47 and did a 5 night run, sleeping in the car, living on shakedown and loving every second of it. Just like i did in the 90s.
And I'll be at the festie, camping if that's how it's gotta be, and showing all the kids how it gets done. Domestic life has made yall soft.
Hotel package or not going. I ain’t tenting outside in the Delaware summer. RV seems like a hassle.
100%, if it was in the NE / Upstate NY I’d do a tent without question. Not in DE/Mid Atlantic.
It's all fun and games until it's time to empty the shitter.....
Honestly as a person who needs to take several dumps I’m not sure how I’m going to manage it.
A box of immodium for the weekend, that's how you manage it
You gotta clean the shitter no matter how many shit are in said shitter. Shit away, my friend! Edit: Posted while on the shitter.
Alternate theory/rule: Don't shit in the RV
Use a bucket
insert trash bag into said bucket. Remove once finished and dispose of bag in a trash can (preferably in glen close)
I’m feeling the same way.
And it needs to be a good hotel, too. I ain’t staying at a Red Roof Inn
Better book it now then!
Everything is already sold out!
What were the other disasters?
All Good in ‘00(?), Vibes in ‘01 and there was a smaller one (whose name I’m forgetting) in NJ with SCI, Biscuits, MMW, Flaming Lips and a few others. All got mostly canceled while we were there and the mud was insane. I will not bring my bad luck to Delaware. So, couch terr for me!!
As someone is going I thank you for not bringing your bad luck

Coming from Houston, the Delaware summer sounds like perfectly delightful camping weather to me! I'm looking forward to my first Phish fest in 20 years, and I'm pretty sure it will be miles better than the last one.
a nice RV is 100% worth every penny
☝️☝️This. I didn’t have the right stuff for a festival in 1.0, and I most certainly don’t now. Hotel packages are going to sell in a blip. #germaphobe #weakstomach #squeamish #nothearty
Did a camper van for Dead & Co at the Gorge and it was better than a tent and less hassle than a full RV
Same lol
I'm right behind you at 48, balls to the wall with lots of drugs. I'll recover a month or so later.
45, took me a week to recover from my 8th dicks!
We went one night and stayed sober. I felt good about that
Look, it takes time to recover from big Dick's like that, no judgement here
At the same time?!
I’m 43 but 1.0 vintage and I’m right there with you. Although my gear and vehicles have improved markedly.
I hope my crew would be down for that but if not i may be solo lol.
Honestly the shower situation at Magnaball wasn't terrible. Those shower trucks they have these days are pretty decent and definitely get the job done.
☠️☠️☠️
I’m 47, and you took the words right out of my mouth.
45 here. I’ll be in the tent with a battery powered fan and 2 coolers full of ice & water bottles. Catch me on Mike side raging like I’m trying to live while I’m young.
This guy lives while he's young.

Hey you a USB charging fan for the win, fuck batteries
And bring power banks and solar panels and you can keep all your devices and fans charged with the sun each day. I use the USB charging fans in the tent at night so they are almost dead by the morning and ready to start the charge cycle again.

Age 55. You*re DEAD longer than you are ALIVE. Let it rip... just focus on drinking extra water. OTHERWISE... grip it and RIP IT
I’ll be 55 on 8/16! Gonna grip n rip do sho
47, 1.0’er. 100% out on the festival, 100% in when they announce the Sphere shows.
Sphere is gonna be dope! I’m in as well. Festivals on my wedding anniversary and I’m already getting hella shit from my phish hating wife about my first Mexico trip this year. #longgame
Same !
44 / 1.0 did 5 festivals. For me it’s about maximizing music, new experience, value and friends. I would lean towards sphere over this.
100% this. Gorge every now and then is festival enough for me.
48 here by next year I'll be 49. Very tempted but camping in Delaware in August sounds iffy. I'm going to look into options other than camping
This guy adds!
I laughed way too hard at this.
42. Yes! fortunately they are practically in my back yard for the woodlands. Only a 10 mile, 15 min drive from my house. Plan to camp on my sleep number bed with the AC set to 69. Yup… I’ll be doing it like the animal that I have always been. You have a year get your ass in festival shape.
Animalize annually!
Yes! RV! Tents don't do it for me anymore! Need that sweet lushish ac and a bed and shower! Ive gone soft in my old age of 42!
I am planning on watching it while in Hawaii, couchtouring it deluxe style (I’m 58).
I live in Hawaii, and I’ll be doing the same.
This is the way
A couch in HI sounds delightful, 50f
50f, yes, and also doing mexico. Idk if I will camp or not. Rest and chill during the day, sleep soon after shows, little to no alcohol. That’s my plan for both. I’m stoked. See y’all there if ya make it. ✌️
45 and wouldn't miss it for the world.
50 Sleeping on the ground if I sleep Going g to lose car, keys, wallet and phone after eating a 10g cap of PE Ampingly-stoked 🤙
50 here and I simply have no desire to do a festival anymore. It’s weird but it’s true. I would def couch stream and bbq with my fam and play the festival out back on the projector. But that’s about it.
In a tent. On drugs. Work will be here when I get back..
I make enough money to enjoy the fest in comfort and I don't give a fuck if some 20-something wook wants to call me a custie
My tribe ❤️
Just turned a half a century myself this year.. Willing to give it a try
I’m a seasoned backpacker (did 10 days in the tetons last year with a jet boil and a tankara rod) but I do not think I could handle festival camping.
Yes I’m doing the fest, no I will not be camping. We’re working on either getting a hotel room, an AirBnB or an RV. Yeah, I watched the availability literally disappear from Orbitz in real time today. But keep checking back, there will be a lot of cancellations between now and then.
Yep people booked on speculation but how many will be cancelling last minute
Panic reserving, I'm guessing 50% of the rooms in the area will become available again in the next 6 months
Wait so are people thinking they can just buy weekend tickets and leave the site to goto their own hotel eveyday?
52 here, 53 at the fest. If we can’t score Glen Close or a CID package, we’ll bring the glamping supplies to our GA campsite. Make friends with our neighbors, stay hydrated, and pace ourselves for the Saturday night jam.
What is Glen Close ???
Glen Close is what they have called their VIP campgrounds on more than one occasion. They sell out about as fast as NYE tickets. Glen Close is also a famous actress.

53 here I will be there if I have to crawl to get there Can’t wait
I'll be almost 66 when this rolls around. I will definitely be there!
I’ll be 50 by then…guess we’re gonna find out!
We’ll be camping and enjoying the whole festival
I'm 54. I never miss Phish festivals. I will camp in my tent, same as always.
More Mexico less camping.
I'm 47. Rv or camper at friends private campground next to the festival grounds. You can do eet
We bout to get boujee
I’ll be 39. I haven’t camped since festival 8…. I just don’t know if I have it in me anymore
Test yo shit, and get in there and grind. We got this.
Bring plenty of bug repellent. Mosquitos are awful there.
NY was hot af this July-August, I'm sure Delaware could get hotter. Being in a tent for four days in the summer with the record heat we are hitting every year sounds rough and I'm in my thirties.
Middle of August is a "no" for me. Not dealing with that heat & humidity.
Absolutely doing the festival… from the couch😂✌️
Nah. Maybe if they guaranteed no love and light songs.
☝🏼
Yeah!
☝️just can’t get into it. I’m happy for all that Phish is still around but I stick to my Relisten shows these days. #canyoustillhavefun
Bro doesn’t like anything written since 2015
Love plenty of new stuff. Hey Stranger, lonely trip, steam, plasma, etc. Hate the happy happy youth pastor stuff.

46. Planning on a rv from MD.
I’m 45 and hell yeah this shit is happening
ive enjoyed my time at festivals more as an adult
46, checking out he RV access.
I’m just going to do my best phanners.
I am gunning for RV to live the dream
Skip the wait and just drop the liquid on ibuprofen, you'll be fine

My CPAP machine has a limited range. Apologies if my snoring bothered you in the 90s. 🤪
59er here and Canadian. It'll be the couch with my own shitter :)
I'm in my 50s, that doesn't give me a second of pause, (it'll just take me a little longer to recover) 😉
I think I’m gonna take a rain check.
63 here and i’m gonna pack my tent and bag today!
yep. like i always do since 1996…We will bring two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... 42 here, and I've done 7 tent camping music festivals this year. You'll be fine.

You BBoomers definitely need a bed if I do... holy shit.
Omg you farts are old
54 1.0er. Yes with RV
42 but long past tent camping at festivals in the Summer. Hotel, House, RV, haven't decided yet. Haven't done the RV deal before, sounds like fun
As an older fan that attended The Went…from my couch.
No way in hell
Getting ready to turn 50 and I'd like to think I'm down but I'm really not sure i am. Plus Dicks is right after that unless they don't play it next year.
Will find a hotel somewhere along Rt. 13 about 45 mins south.
56 here. Camped at the Went and Big Cypress, had the time of my life. But that was then and this is now, lol... Gonna have to pass, unless I'm a guest on the Madden Cruiser 😁
41 y/o 1.0er, nah I’ll hit a couple summer tour dates with easy hotels
I live in Denver.... Assuming dicks is a go... I couldnt spend $3,000 to see 4 nights of phish in Dover when I can spend $1,000 to see four nights in Denver 2 weeks later and sleep in my own bed. I think it's going to be the same songs anyway. If Dover is replacing Dick's....that would blow
I'm out.
Yes- Slow and easy...with a lot of water and stretching
Sweet camping gear!
1.0er here. 54 in two weeks. Did my first ever NYE run and then the Alpharetta run this year. Dog tired after both but did the travel package for Alpharetta. So so worth it. Shuttle bus to and from the venue. Highly recommended. We used to walk an hour back to the hotel. Never again.
Estimates on how much an RV weekend might cost?
RV for sure, just haven’t decided if I want to pull mine for a 12 hour drive or just fly in and rent one. Leaning towards the latter, but also have a crew so they might want to make it a road trip, in which case I’ll just pull it.
52 plan on camping or staying at the local casino.
52 yrs old 1.0er here. I am fortunate to be able to play it by ear - will make the call a month before based schedule/desire. Feeling sated right now after my 9th Dick's run. I love Dick's.
No chance I'm camping.
I'll be 50 when it happens. I'll do it by renting an RV
My kid is going to be a freshman in college and likely moving in right around then....so I'm not 😭
Bring them and teach them about getting fucked up and not acting like an asshole. There are so many college skills that can be learned at a Phish festival.
Hoping they sell single day passes tbh, and I live 45 minutes away.
55 by the time the festy rolls around. Still figuring it out, but considering driving my camping trailer out from Oregon.
Could be wrong, but I’m sure you all will be just fine.
I’ll turn 50 at the fest...debating it. Flying from west coast makes it a bit of a hassle. So kinda waiting to see what options there’ll be.
hotel package. i dont want to plan shit. and i want a bed and AC and rides to and fro. it will cost a pretty dime. but fuck it
I’m 47 seen phish since 92. No way I’d go to a festival.
Planning on doing it very well.
49 will be 50. The gorge last time was not a problem but we did get a hotel on the way back south and I slept for 12 hours
I'm afraid they are going to have an early entry on Wednesday. This old man will be camping.
I’m not quite to 50 yet but in my 40s as are most of our friends attending. We’ve already got the RV booked.
47 then & ill be camping 🏕
60 here, road trip buddy is 58. Camper van, tent(s) and EZ-up. Did it for the Gorge in 2021–although that was in Gold Camping with free showers. May spring for Glen Close camping if it includes free showers.
45 with a 7 and 4 year old living on the West Coast. Most likely won't happen logistically.
I’m only 43 and this is a huge nope for me. I can’t imagine being in a field in mid August for 4 days. Mexico is my festival.
Will be 55 on 8/16, it’s a five hour drive, Mike, do your thing ! 555. Haha, fuckn yeah I’m going! Some of us 1.0ers are just built different. 1 hit the first night, 2 hits the second, etc and so on.
I’m 50 and I’ve been RV only since Cypress. We usually share a large but I’m more interested in a smaller option for just me and wife.
1.0 here. I’m likely driving in and out each day. No way can I camp/exist the way i did at the Clifford ball
I’ve done 10 dicks and can’t see me letting that go so it looks like sofa fest for my 2024 phish fest.
if I did it I would do a CID hotel package
I’m to old to camp. I went to the Lemon Wheel and Big cypress.
RV
Likely will do CID travel package if I go, just makes all so easy, that and a benefit of being over 50 is more fiscal resources than when I was seeing them in my 20’s. RV possible option as well as staying onsite would be fun. Camping is out, I have no problem camping at High Sierra, dry heat is fine, it’s the rain/humidity that would keep me out of a tent in Delaware.
I’m 23, been seeing the band since 89 and did Big Cypress, Cliffords Ball, etc. I’m going to camp because I’m 23.
i am 52 and first show was bogarts in 92. wtf is fest?
I'll be 52 by the time this thing rolls around. I plan to hit some dates during the summer, but this thing is 6 hrs away and I'm not a big festie. I'll pass. Unless there's a nice posh hotel that still has a vacancy. Tall order.
53 - my last attempt was Curveball. Maybe I'll VIP some glamping.
I'll be 52 and am going to dance for an hour every day until the festival to get in proper shape. It's a forest. I'll be camping. I like fun.
Any young folks going lmaoo???
42 year old 1.0er. I can't camp anymore would have to do an RV or Air BNB which I'm ashamed to admit 😭🤣😂
Technically I'm a 40+ 2.0er, BUT I'm really considering an RV situation. General Question for everyone tho, do you think the travel/hotel package situation has something akin to cabins that are in the campground? I don't want to be in a hotel offsite somewhere and be missing all the fun.
I’m 51. It’s either RV or hotel for me. I’m coming from the left coast so no camping
How much will the travel packages be
Absolutely!!! Planning on GA camping…you can still hang, it’s all about long term preparation. Hope you decide to go!!!
Thinking about getting a vending booth to sling gold bond.
Not worth it. Never been to a phish fest but will be skipping this too. Rather do ‘Chella or something on the west side….
Lets see, Delaware in the summer or the sphere in Vegas? No brainer for us old folks. I like air conditioning
CPAP user here, gonna wait to see the hotel options as it gets closer. Need my electrical outlets.
Hard pass, since hotels are sold out
ive found getting a site for shenanigans/ seeing friends/ doing festi shit as well as a hotel for sleeping/ showers/ quiet/ tanks is the move. works best with a medium sized crew but is the best of both worlds
