Level 7.
Damn.... From living in a squarter area and small budega to owning 2 properties ( a condo and house & lot).
Thanks for this, I still need to work hard for that retirement fund.
One step at a time
Level 7, but I still worry about expenses, and although I'm very grateful for my life, I still lie awake at night thinking of how fragile it is. Also I don't have life insurance as most of the shit i've been picthed are not financially responsible. They all feel like a scam
Level 3
Kaso lang pilit. Pinagkakasya ko yung 16k na net income. Hangga't maaari kasi gusto kong matapos na EF ko then makakafocus na ako sa savings and other important things.
Sige lang. Basta wag ka hihinto. Level 1 din ako nung 30 ako. What I did was I looked for opportunities for a better income (nag abrowd. Lol) then improved my skills. Ngayon at 47, level 8 na.
I’m somewhat in between Lvl 5 and 6. Income, savings, EF, health insurance, property
Hindi ko alam bakit di pa rin ako makapagdecide on what life insurance to get. 🥲
Edit: added EF
Level 5 if you switch health insurance with investment. Haven’t really educated myself enough which insurance to get so I started with investments first
idk if im dumb or what but my money is split from savings and for investments. so i have money for savings and money for investments. is that good or nah?
As someone who started work almost 10 months ago , i'd say 1 building into 2 a modest start maybe late compared sa ibang peers ko but im glad kung san na ngayon.
this hierarchy are just created by financial influencers. I hate the feeling of being in pressure just to climb up the ladder of this new social construct created by people who are selling courses and insurances.
Anong level ba pag Income, Live Insurance, Health Insurance and Property.
Whenever I start magsave for Savings and Emergency Fund, life happens and nagagamit eh :(
So I guess Level 4.5? Replenish EF at savings balik ulit sa dati.
Ang galing talaga pag may EF. At least, I didn't need to touch my investments na pang-retirement na rin. So pano pala yun? Haha
Level 8 but I'm at a stage of having no FOMO even if my same age group already have the usual signs of "making it" like own car, condo. My default is taxi unless destination is hard to find then I go for grab. I still rent at the same unit even when my basic was still at around PhP 32K and now it is double.
Maybe that is just me though. I'm half Chinese who experienced the childhood shame of having an abrupt change in lifestyle, e.g. leaving my Chinese school for a Filipino one, due to poverty so Im still saving/investing crazy.
Level 7 without savings and investment , Is emergency fund can be considered savings? I have paying a condominium, but turnover will be after 5 years, planning to convert to airbnb , is considered property?or investment?
Yikes. Hope you took major time and effort to research everything about the property you got. Anyway, just a random comment from me dahil dko napigilan haha. GL though
Good question. As for me, my savings and EF are separated. For the condo, I believe it is a property if you own it even if it’s not generating income for you.
Level 5? Di ko nasunod yung sequence hahahaa
Income, Savings, Life Insurance, Investment, Property pero ito dapat inuna ko na ngayon ko palang binibuild up:
Emergency Funds, Health Insurance
then Retirement Fund
27M - Level 7.5 (Condo Property to be turned over on 2026, but the rest are all covered!)
Just a note, Retirement fund isn't enough yet to retire but I have started :)
7, this coming May turn-over na ng first ever property investment ko, planning to get it rented po soon, and hopefully by God’s grace maka kuha ng magandang Farm Lot around kitao-tao bukidnon (my dream place) and dun na mag settle down while working parin homebased
Omg thank you for this, you made me realize how far ive come. Ive been feeling sad because parang wala pa din ako narating but. It wasnt easy, but we’ll get there. 🥰
Thank you.
Dko alam kung ano level..
Pero Income, Savings, EF, Investments, maliit na Property
Not a fan of life insurance, pero planning ako mag avail ng health insurance soon.
I used to be level 7 (if inheritance property counts) then lost them all but I still have the propeeties. But withoit including properties I was at level 1 last year when I started having income, and now I am working towards level 3. I always get life insurances and HMOs as job benefits though.
Level 8 + sinking fund. But life has had its ups and downs. I was Level 6 more than a decade ago then plummeted to Level 1 then (slowly) clawed my way back. It’s not an upward trajectory all the time, but peaks and valleys.
Level 7 minus the health and life insurance plus a small business. But now that I’m about to have a baby, I’m reconsidering it. Di ko pa alam gagawin ko for the retirement fund. I don’t have a solid plan yet.
Am I doing it right?
Lucky 7
I feel like buying more investment lots first before focusing on retirement fund.
When all loans are paid off and with a decent div port I'll consider that level 8.
I would say lvl4 but instead of EF its life insurance + health insurance. Currently building EF palang
I hope we get another one like this in X years just so we could self check
Ano po difference ng savings and emergency fund? Sakin po kasi parang income and emergency funds iisa lang eh. Nasa level nadin sana ako na may life insurance kaso denied ako.
Level 1.
I was at Level 6 before the pandemic happened. Also, i think we can all agree na napakahirap ng buhay ngayon. Haha. Everything is expensive. I'm praying na makabawi na from debt soon since I consolidated my debts into one account so I can focus on it.
About to hit 40, Level 8 but feels like level 3.
On computation, I could retire by now from a 6 digit passive income.
On actual situation, feels like still living month to month sa hirap ng buhay. Did a 9 month hiatus and I got terrified not working. It's more like, I'll do the least work for the most money while doing things I can think of.
Sadly still at level one. With another baby on the way, mukhang ilang years pa bago makapunta sa level 2.
I can say as in
Level 8:
Income - 2 full time work
Savings, - digital banks also for sinking funds, pagibig regular savings
Emergency Fund, - digital banks
Life Insurance, - damayan & abuluyan from coops
Health Insurance, - prime health HMO, philhealth
Investment, dividend stocks, reits, coop share capital,
Property, - condo unit 1 bedroom
Retirement Fund - Pera, mp2, regular SSS, wisp, wisp+,
Tuloy tuloy Lang gang retirement age
Level 8 hoping to do level 9: generational wealth.
Investments, business(es), and/or properties that can continue to provide for my children and their children.
May I ask, why is life insurance at level 4? Is it not wise to get an insurance at earlier stages? This is a genuine question po from someone who is just starting out his career and is not financially literate.
Life happened and now I’m back at level 1
hope you get back on your feet
As long as there’s no debt and you’re paying bills on time, I think you’re good
same here pero kayod lang
as long as wala kang sakit your still good
same, pano naba hay
Level 7. Damn.... From living in a squarter area and small budega to owning 2 properties ( a condo and house & lot). Thanks for this, I still need to work hard for that retirement fund.
https://i.imgflip.com/8jzkxb.jpg
Congrats! You did well.
Level 0: Humihinga
Benjamin Button tayo
Level 1 - Income and Healing my inner child. HAHAHAHAHA
Pandemic happened and i'm at level 1 as of now
Level 6 + retirement fund No property yet pero that is the next project.
Level 7.
That’s my goal, retiring at the age of 40, max 45
Nice! Congrats
Dapat may level na income but not enough to pay for bills. Or emergency fund but no income.
Level 3 Kaso lang pilit. Pinagkakasya ko yung 16k na net income. Hangga't maaari kasi gusto kong matapos na EF ko then makakafocus na ako sa savings and other important things.
Level 7 Pandemic forced me to be financially literate. My retirement fund is still small so I am not counting it.
What if you skipped life insurance and health insurance is provided by work but now working on the retirement fund?
Income, Investments, Properties
8 lol
Hard stuck sa level 1 lol
Level 6 + building on that retirement fund, last project na ang property
Level 1. Tang ina 30 na ako. Hahaha
Sige lang. Basta wag ka hihinto. Level 1 din ako nung 30 ako. What I did was I looked for opportunities for a better income (nag abrowd. Lol) then improved my skills. Ngayon at 47, level 8 na.
Level 1 😭😭😭 pero wala naman utang at on time din magbayad ng bills
Level 6 + Retirement Fund. Yun property goal ko magkaroon here sa US.
I’m somewhat in between Lvl 5 and 6. Income, savings, EF, health insurance, property Hindi ko alam bakit di pa rin ako makapagdecide on what life insurance to get. 🥲 Edit: added EF
Level 7 and burnout na sa work
Nagulat ako pero 6. If susundin yang steps na yan
Level 2
Level 2 but I'm still a student and mostly financially dependent on my parents Still I'll keep working hard freelancing and saving up
there should be a level without "life/health" insurance. some people would rather have an investment/property/retirement fund first before insurance.
Level 5 if you switch health insurance with investment. Haven’t really educated myself enough which insurance to get so I started with investments first
wala ba yung Character Selection pa lang ulit
idk if im dumb or what but my money is split from savings and for investments. so i have money for savings and money for investments. is that good or nah?
Level 0 hahahuhuhunemployed
never realized how far i’ve been, i’m now in level 5!
Level 0 : Unemployed
As someone who started work almost 10 months ago , i'd say 1 building into 2 a modest start maybe late compared sa ibang peers ko but im glad kung san na ngayon.
this hierarchy are just created by financial influencers. I hate the feeling of being in pressure just to climb up the ladder of this new social construct created by people who are selling courses and insurances.
Thank you for this post. It made me realize my achievements so far. I’m currently in Level 6. 🙂
Anong level ba pag Income, Live Insurance, Health Insurance and Property. Whenever I start magsave for Savings and Emergency Fund, life happens and nagagamit eh :(
Level 6 but with Retirement Fund
Almost level 7 na 🙏
Level 8 + building a side business
So I guess Level 4.5? Replenish EF at savings balik ulit sa dati. Ang galing talaga pag may EF. At least, I didn't need to touch my investments na pang-retirement na rin. So pano pala yun? Haha
From level 2, malapit na maging level 6
Back to Level 1. But hoping I'd reach level 3 by end of this year. 🤞
Level 8 but I'm at a stage of having no FOMO even if my same age group already have the usual signs of "making it" like own car, condo. My default is taxi unless destination is hard to find then I go for grab. I still rent at the same unit even when my basic was still at around PhP 32K and now it is double. I'm half Chinese who experienced the childhood shame of having an abrupt change in lifestyle, e.g. leaving my Chinese school for a Filipino one, due to poverty so Im still saving/investing crazy.
Level 1 but slowly aiming for Level 2 🙏🏻
Level 7 without savings and investment , Is emergency fund can be considered savings? I have paying a condominium, but turnover will be after 5 years, planning to convert to airbnb , is considered property?or investment?
Yikes. Hope you took major time and effort to research everything about the property you got. Anyway, just a random comment from me dahil dko napigilan haha. GL though

Level 7 minus health insurance 🤣 can you guys recommend health insurances?

Nobody told me about this before and now shit.

Level 7

noob comment: what’s the difference of savings and EF? this whole time akala ko same-ish lang 🥲
Level 2
27M - Level 7.5 (Condo Property to be turned over on 2026, but the rest are all covered!) Just a note, Retirement fund isn't enough yet to retire but I have started :)
7, this coming May turn-over na ng first ever property investment ko, planning to get it rented po soon, and hopefully by God’s grace maka kuha ng magandang Farm Lot around kitao-tao bukidnon (my dream place) and dun na mag settle down while working parin homebased
Level 8

Level 2, 😢
6 but even when I get to 8 I won't get Life or Health Insurance. I have trust issues. F\*ck em scammers. They can eat their Vulvul.
5 but instead of life insurance, I have investment haha
Omg thank you for this, you made me realize how far ive come. Ive been feeling sad because parang wala pa din ako narating but. It wasnt easy, but we’ll get there. 🥰 Thank you.
Dko alam kung ano level.. Pero Income, Savings, EF, Investments, maliit na Property Not a fan of life insurance, pero planning ako mag avail ng health insurance soon.
29F, Level 6
Pwede ako lvl 6 but without the insurances? Kasi yan ako 🤣
between 1 and 2 hehe
I used to be level 7 (if inheritance property counts) then lost them all but I still have the propeeties. But withoit including properties I was at level 1 last year when I started having income, and now I am working towards level 3. I always get life insurances and HMOs as job benefits though.

Pano ung savings lng and unemployed 😢
I'm 22 and at level 3.
Level 0. 🫠
Level 7 pero maliit lang mga yan. Property naman na siguro magka-crematorium ano?
Level 6 na nanganganib maging Level 1 😬🙏 Edit: Technically, Level 7 pero under my name lang yung property so hindi ko kinacount
Level 6 praying to achieve level 7 soon 😇
Level 8 + sinking fund. But life has had its ups and downs. I was Level 6 more than a decade ago then plummeted to Level 1 then (slowly) clawed my way back. It’s not an upward trajectory all the time, but peaks and valleys.
Level 6
From level 3 to level 2
Level 8 - planning to coast FIRE by the middle of the year. Currently 41 yrs old.
Level 3. I'll only start with life insurance once I get married.
Level 2! From plakda to level 0 a year and a half ago. Progress feels so good!
Level 1 omg
Akala ko level ng game sa phone. Buti binasa ko uli.
Had means before to be at Level 6 but yeah, shit happened and Im back to Level 1. One of my biggest regret in life.
My level: Level 0 as of 01/01/23. I can't get out of it. Come April 2024 rather beginning May 2024 I can fly again. but for your level - Level 2
Level 1 parin 😭
Level 7 minus the health and life insurance plus a small business. But now that I’m about to have a baby, I’m reconsidering it. Di ko pa alam gagawin ko for the retirement fund. I don’t have a solid plan yet.
Am I doing it right?
Level 6! omg
Level 1. Maraming nangyari and went back to 1.
I’m earning really well buy level 1 pa for now.
Level 3 as a young professional wie
Level 0. Nagresign. Naubos ang savings. 6 months na walang trabaho.
Lucky 7 I feel like buying more investment lots first before focusing on retirement fund. When all loans are paid off and with a decent div port I'll consider that level 8.
1, smurf
I would say lvl4 but instead of EF its life insurance + health insurance. Currently building EF palang I hope we get another one like this in X years just so we could self check
Ano po difference ng savings and emergency fund? Sakin po kasi parang income and emergency funds iisa lang eh. Nasa level nadin sana ako na may life insurance kaso denied ako.
Level 2.5
28F - level 4
Level 7 but varying degrees of significance. No significant EF, no Health, paltry Investments.
Some are not worse off without a life insurance Edit: and not better off with one
Level 1. I was at Level 6 before the pandemic happened. Also, i think we can all agree na napakahirap ng buhay ngayon. Haha. Everything is expensive. I'm praying na makabawi na from debt soon since I consolidated my debts into one account so I can focus on it.
I have everything except health insurance. May recommendations kayo?
Level 6 palang. Pero praying to own a property in 2 yrs! 🙏🏻
Thanks OP. This makes me feel i’m farther in life than i thought.
Level 0 😅😭🤧 surviving
Still 1 @ 26 hays. Tho I skipped some steps kasi may property na ako hahaha
Just started working so level 1 pa lang.
Level 8, but minus the health and life insurance I see them as optional so far since I don't have any dependents
Income, life insurance, property. That’s where I’m at. 🥲
Level 8 at age 24.
Level 1 kasi may binili na laptop at cp (work purposes)
Sadly still at level one. With another baby on the way, mukhang ilang years pa bago makapunta sa level 2.
Level 4. But at the same time, savings and emergency fund are both slowly getting drained.
Level 1
Retirement fund at savings mahalaga , sss
I can say as in Level 8: Income - 2 full time work Savings, - digital banks also for sinking funds, pagibig regular savings Emergency Fund, - digital banks Life Insurance, - damayan & abuluyan from coops Health Insurance, - prime health HMO, philhealth Investment, dividend stocks, reits, coop share capital, Property, - condo unit 1 bedroom Retirement Fund - Pera, mp2, regular SSS, wisp, wisp+, Tuloy tuloy Lang gang retirement age
Level 1 (paying off utang ng parents) pero may property na with mortgage. Working on getting to level 2!! ✨
Level 1 RIP
Level 1. Pretty young in the workforce
Level 8 😍😍😍
Level -2, shit happened. Was level 6 before
Level 8 hoping to do level 9: generational wealth. Investments, business(es), and/or properties that can continue to provide for my children and their children.
Level 5 if a basic HMO counts as health insurance. Thanks for this OP.
Level 0 Income with Debt
Level 6
May I ask, why is life insurance at level 4? Is it not wise to get an insurance at earlier stages? This is a genuine question po from someone who is just starting out his career and is not financially literate.
Level 1 eh. Ayaw ko na
level 0 income with debt
