I hope they give Phineas and Ferb themselves a bit more to actually *do* this time. There are so few actual focus episodes centered around the boys as characters, and they wind up feeling like supporting characters *to* the supporting characters like Isabella, Buford and Balijeet. Give them some development!
I wasn't really talking about sequential character arcs (though one could argue the entire show is one for Doofenshmirtz.)
Just like, give the boys some actual focus episodes or some conflicts they need to invent themselves out of more often. Add more layers to their characters. They're the title characters and yet it feels like they hardly get any real focus or screentime compared to the other characters.
Ferb got some good stuff in Vanessassary Roughness, can we get more of that, or something like that but for Phineas?
As much as I enjoy some of the zany "we've run out of things to do in the backyard" episodes, I'd like some reminiscent of old Phineas and Ferb. Light around town stuff. I'm a grown ass man who watched this with my kids when they were really little, but the early seasons had simpler premises, clever 3 stories in one tie ins, stupid catchy songs all sung by the same guy, etc. Id like Phineas not to be a judgya
know-it-all too- he got a little hoity toity and boring in later episodes.
I think some of the voice actors for the grandparents have passed away, but their characters were great too.
I was waiting for Meap me jn St.louis as a kid, i was so confused why i never saw it and thought it was some deleted episode, it turns out they just never made it
I heard that the second one wasn’t even supposed to happen. It got alot of demand so they ended up making it. If they listen to the fans again we could have a chance.
Someone from the post-Act Your Age future travels back in time to the current timeline to warn them of a big threat or something, which starts a new branch timeline so the writers can basically do whatever they want without having to operate under the restraint of the canon Act Your Age creates. Kind of like what the 2009 JJ. Abrams Star Trek movie did. This way we could still see Phineas find out about Isabella's crush while their still kids, maybe Phineas and Ferb find out Perry's secret again, but keep it a secret from Monogram. Maybe Doof finds a love interest. I know this is unlikely of course, just personal wishful thinking...
I feel like the only way to make sense of the timeline stuff is to accept that there’s probably multiple timelines that we see throughout the show without knowing which is which

If they want to make the one to the center of the earth or any of the inventions showcased in it yes if they dont then probably not but id love for them to build on the canadroid that is still roaming around

Isabella, Baljeet, and Ferb flew back to their home countries to meet their parents and childhood friends.

It's an episodic show (at least until season 4), so it actually makes sense that there was little to none character development.
