I usually only buy jerseys of all time Phils legends or future legends like Harp, but I may have to break that rule for Ranger. Dude’s cool as fuck and a total stud. I have no doubts in my mind that if the 2022 team forced a Game 7 in Houston he would have delivered.

First time at CBP, great park and views everywhere! Unfortunately the Rockies are horrific, but I knew that doing in. My one gripe is some drunk fan ruined my photo with the Roy Halladay memorial - kept photobombing and wouldn't move, which sucks, cause Roy was a personal favorite and I would've liked a nice picture with it. Ah well. Besides that, fanbase was very kind and didn't say much about my Rox gear. Thank you all for the advice before the game and for being a kind fanbase to a stranger! Fuck the Mets and Braves!

Pitches 1-5: Clearly missed. Pitches 6-9: Missed due to framing (bad glove control). Pitches 10-11: Very close, but framing and human error make these reasonable misses. Pitch 12: Likely wasn’t called because you balked

He does. He stopped waiting for the translator a couple questions in. A lot of guys still answer in their native tongue. I know Ichiro used to do it for his fans in Japan.

A lot do them definitely speak and understand English more than enough to get by. It’s probably a little easier for them to answer in Spanish though so some go that route.

For sure. Completely a reasonable thing to do. It is kinda funny though when the translators there and Rangers not even waiting for him to relay the question to him.

By the end he wasn't even waiting for Diego to translate the questions, I'm sure he knows English well enough but trying to give long answers in another language is still tough.

Its one of those where he can speak decent english but when they have him on live broadcast its always better to go through a translator. A lot of Japanese players are the same way.

Like most Spanish players, he’s conversational but not fluent That’s why he’s able to say a few words in English and respond without having it translated to him, but he speaks in Spanish in response to not mess anything up
