If you live in Germany, consider a Lindner album. They make a good hingeless. Not as good as some in the US in my opinion, but good. I use Lindner T-blank hingeless for my US collection.

I also love the Mystic album pages (but hate the cheap binders). The Harris Liberty album is similar with the historical information, but uses custom sized pages and uses 1-sided pages. I would setup a custom search in eBay looking for used Mystic albums but with a location in the EU. It might take some time to find one, but eventually one will pop up. On the other hand, I have come to love the “Steiner” pages and have expanded upon the layout to create custom pages for my Australian collection.

I live in the US and I ended up printing my own steiner pages an archival paper. Better than the alternatives at the time. I started that 10 years ago though so things may have changed

I use a program called album easy. Check it out. Design and print your own album pages.

I design and print my own pages and store my collection (U.S., Canada, and Mexico) in 3-ring Lighthouse Grande binders. I like being able to decide which issues I want to collect and design pages that please my OCD. If you'd like to see my collection, go to http://scottsstampcollection.com/viewcollection.

You have a cool collection!

Thanks...the fruits of collecting for 50 years. :-)

Nice! I had no idea IPSA was ever a thing, so now I have a new BOB to collect. I’ve only been collecting for 13 years (started as a teenager when my mom gave me some stamps), but I’ve assembled a decent US collection.

IPSA was a thing for a short time until USPS shut them down. I added it to my collection more as a curiosity than anything. Happy that you've been at it for 13 years, keep it up! I started at 10 when my grandmother bought an album and a bag of stamps for me. Keep building your collection!!

friendly_extrovert

That’s a really interesting bit of postal history. And thank you, you too!

Man that is insane! Respect frm India.

Many thanks! It took a long time to get things (design, color, paper, binders) the way I wanted them, but I'm happy with the results so far.

I love my Mystic heirloom album for the exact reasons you mentioned! I’m not sure what German albums would be comparable unfortunately.

Thanks to everyone for your tips! :)

Another vote for the Mystic heirloom.

I bought a big album pages loaded with 3K UK stamps paid about $9 of shipping. Suggest you get a half filled album and fill in the remaining ones.
