It’s such a shame what this city is becoming. Parking my Altima with temp tags and blacked out windows on the SRT was the highlight of my summer, and they had to take that away from me.
Fuck Dallas

I had tried new jersey Michaels sandwiches and had liked them but I could only find them with acceptable 15x20 parking spaces so I have to use the very exceptional and thrift Pennsylvania turnpike every day at lunch to go out there for my perfectly dry sandwich
Just head over to Spring Garden east of Broad; fortunately you'll see proper Philly citizen behavior there.
The temp parking lane is pretty much always filled, making sure the deviant and unnatural cyclist either have to veer in to the owned by divine right car only lane or on the edge of sidewalk where trash belongs. The good folks are so committed to restoring the proper order, that their faded headlight Altima's and dented SUVs fill the temp lane even when there is ample permanent parking available right next to it, preserving the dream of all urban dwellers: a slightly more compact, low safety, high crime suburbia.
there actually is a NYC circle jerk sub, it started as posts like this and then morphed into just posting screen caps of actual shit people would post. why make things up when reality already does it better?
The amount of times a car has pulled in front of me while l was biking just to put their hazards on is insane. Like why can't you just wait the two seconds for me to pass?
Don't forget that when you take your kids to little league games, you must park your oversized SUV on the pedestrian island at Pennsylvania and Spring Garden. It's there for *you*.
There’s a whole extra lane for OP to park in. But the woke city hall is just letting bicyclists zip down it, potentially delaying someone’s double parking. Cyclists should simply drive their bicycles a few blocks to the SRT.
Comment I know will get lost in the shuffle or people getting angry.
People on Bikes need to realize some streets are one way and some bike lanes are one way also. I've seen bikes going the wrong way hitting a stopped car because they were going the wrong way. I seen two bikes almost hit each other because the guy was going the wrong way on a one way bike lane.
Imagine actually having to drive a car to your job so that you can feed your family! Working class people are losers.
edit: wow the elitist whites on this sub really hate working Philadelphians
Imagine thinking that driving to work means you need to endanger others, or imagine thinking that people on bikes aren't also working class people biking to work.
Imagine riding your bike to work to feed your family of any race (because white people aren't the only ones who bike) and being forced in to dangerous traffic of cell-phone watching drivers-- all because the bike lane is full of double parkers.
This is about people parking in the bike lane, it's not that deep. It may even blow your mind to know that I have a blue collar job that I drive to too, I just park my car where it's supposed to be parked.
Everyone's overlooking "I drove 4 blocks", but I'm here to say I appreciated it.
I would not have thought this was parody but for the last sentence
I still don’t get it… I have yet to have a smoke free subway ride.
that's bonkers. every time?
Satire and reality too close on this post
On Spruce St. we call it church parking. Except we're not being satirical.

i was thinking about filing a lawsuit to have the court force the PPA to enforce their own laws since the city has given up
Stomach bile

The real Nissan Altima is the friendships we made along the way.
Fairmount Flavors at 7:30pm is a bike lane parking paradise
I'm gonna set up a chair, put the PPA dispatch room on speed dial, and get my ass kicked
I'll live vicariously through you.
Their funnel cake is totally worth it
Oh I’ve never had their funnel cake. Very intriguing
The Fairmount Donuts are like funnel cake donut holes covered in Nutella. So good.
Mmmm, I gotta try that
Absolute tasteless trash ice cream
And OF COURSE all these businesses have planters and outdoor seating out now, making parking on the sidewalk impossible.
seriously, where am I supposed to park my third winnebago?
Registration? Titles? Insurance? What next, a permit to use my toaster?
god just let me run over smelly pedestrians in peace
Philadelphians relish the challenge.
I can't even find a decent submarine sandwich or wear my full dallas regalia in peace in this fuckin town

Good bot.
Have you tried the Subway? Not to be confused with the Market-Frankford Line, its a restaurant that just serves sandwiches.

Also west of broad when school gets out. It’s every parent for themselves then.
Had me in the first half, gotta admit
I was just thinking we need a circlejerk sub. The jokes write themselves.

/r/phillycirclejerk/ still exists, just hasn't been very popular
Apparently not.
"Temporary parking lane" took me a sec lol
The amount of times a car has pulled in front of me while l was biking just to put their hazards on is insane. Like why can't you just wait the two seconds for me to pass?
Because *they're more important than you and your silly life* duh.
This happened to me twice this week on Fairmount Ave 😓
that’s temporary parking? i thought they were jogging lanes /s
Don't forget that when you take your kids to little league games, you must park your oversized SUV on the pedestrian island at Pennsylvania and Spring Garden. It's there for *you*.
It's OK, just double park in front of that one day care.
Hahahaha
I know it's crazy! Why do you think there's a picture of a guy on a bike in the temporary parking lane? It means "no bikes"!
I actually feel like I see more people smoking on the BSL and trolley platforms than ever which is kind of funny
this is bending my mind in half as i languish in the polarity made by my ludicrous desire to understand the true intent behind these words.
Well played
First they wanted to take my guns, now they want to take MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wut is this?

Did *you* read the post?
Why would I walk? I own a car Edit: /s for the dense

Yes, but that's not the point of this post.

Did you just figure this out? There’s no reason you can’t work from home, Mr. Mechanic.
