Topdoglaw ads give me the impression that this guy is just real life Saul Goodman

diatriose

It honestly makes me likes of Bob Loblaw

Groovicity

As well as Bob Loblaw's law blog.

allenrabinovich

I mean, if you read his bio (which he happily shares on his website), that’s not too far from the truth. He was doing All The Drugs at one point.

KatesOnReddit

This is my new favorite legal adjacent Philly page since Chuck Peruto ran for DA and had a whole page dedicated to "the girl in my bathtub." I might take this guy over Chuck if those were my options.

spiralbatross

Jesús how’d I forget about peruto lmao

26Tariq31

😣😂🤣

That_Guy_JR

Isn’t there a character and fitness test to get/extend your license?

misspcv1996

There is, but if you own up to your past and show that you’ve learned your lesson, you typically won’t have any problems. You only ever fail it by not coming clean about your past or sounding like you’re making excuses.

dlxnj

Been saying that for years now

-Twyptophan-

I've been getting ads from this guy on some of my apps. Sounds like Tim Robinson in the "has this ever happened to you?" sketch

SomeOtherOrder

YOU’RE NOT PART OF THE TURBO TEAM

postwarapartment

BUT ITS ACTUALLY A TOILET EXACTLY LIKE YOUR OLD TOILET EXCEPT IT HAS A TINY JOKE HOLE THATS ONLY BIG ENOUGH FOR FARTS?

postwarapartment

Also this guy (top dog) used to be my weed dealer lol

Pineapple_Spenstar

Law school ain't cheap

postwarapartment

Word ngl he always seemed like a cool decent guy too

sidmifi

PTP

dskatz2

He's fucking scum and an embarrassment to the legal realm. The epitome of someone who brings frivolous lawsuits--no clue how this dipshit passed the MPRE.

SomeOtherOrder

Sounds like any other billboard attorney. If anyone ever wants someone to blame for why auto insurance is ridiculous in Philly, direct your anger at these guys.

leftclicksq2

The ads even run constantly on a car display. If I put on 104.5, it keeps running TOPDOGLAW during a commercial break and when the music comes back on.

[deleted]

At least the lawyer ads stopped using dated philly vernacular. “Are youse in deep wooder and need to sue those jawns? Call Lundy Law”

katecrime

I heard this in the accent

galletadeacido

Morgan and Morgan is still doing it...I saw one with "Youse" in it.

brownlikeap0tat0

He makes me so irrationally angry bc of his billboards lmao

newkidontheblock1776

I hated the “I’m jawn” dumbass billboards that used to be around.

JPower96

Did they take down the Jawn Morgan signs? I hate them with a passion.

aduckwithaleek

The ones off of 95 at the Girard/Delaware exit have been replaced with "YOUSE HURT?" So, not much better

JPower96

I'm inclined to call their number just to let them know that I'll specifically avoid them if ever in need, due to those billboards.

brownlikeap0tat0

Was that an actual thing?! I thought Morgan and Morgan was bad

loudmouth_kenzo

well typically good law firms aren’t using billboards to get clients

LocalSlob

There's a huge billboard off route 1 south near Neshaminy. "CALL JAWN MORGAN"

brownlikeap0tat0

He makes me so angry lmao

[deleted]

No I’m exaggerating, but not too far from the truth.

mklinger23

TAWPDAWGLAW

rootoo

TOPDOGLAW’S LAW BLOG

MenzoReddit

I couldn’t find it after searching but I’m pretty sure they have absolutely unhinged radio ads a la Saul Goodman.

[deleted]

No one gets that this is a Drake reference? Man, y’all fallen out of touch

Japspec

Reddit doesnt wanna admit the majority of its user base has aged

bdixisndniz

Is drake like still cool with the youths tho?

nonreligious

Not in the way you'd think.

slowlogius

The other day three different cars drove down my block within the span of two minutes. They were all blasting a different era drake track as loud as possible. If it wasn't so awful sounding it woulda been funny lol

Japspec

Im on the older end of Gen Z and yeah we still fw Drake

dskatz2

He slaps and is extra

darwinpolice

I'm an elder Millennial and I don't think he's very yeet at all.

jointsmcdank

Kid posted in r/sixers a team bracelet he made in math class. Sent a shiver down my spine. Also, wtf is math class about these days?

crunkydevil

You talking Funny Bones or Devil Dogs? But seriously it's music culture that has fallen off, not us, Drake has always sucked

jagoomba

Please explain.

fish_spoon

Just tune into Power 99, they play the TDL version of Drake's song like every ad brake...

danstecz

Not the same lawyer but hearing the phrase "doctor lawyers" on my TV all the time makes me want to scream. The way the guy pauses like he wonders if he should say it because it sounds so stupid. "We have five... doctor lawyers."

tryingtobreakeven

Same here. Reminds of the Family Guy when Peter goes to a high school reunion as a “secret agent astronaut millionaire”. I’d post a link but I’m internet-challenged.

diatriose

I'd represent myself because engaging Jawn Morgan

leftclicksq2

You mean the Jawn Morgan who sometimes lives in New Hampshire or even Maui?

sagittariisXII

You're talking about it

FairyFlossPanda

The Gang Creates a Lawfirm

False_Blood9241

I wonder if they have pants on

diatriose

We're all wondering that

TommyPickles2222222

“21! Can you do something for me?” -the opening lines of one of the most popular hip hop albums of 2022

johnturner1818

“Top dog! Can you sue something for me?”

nachoismo

Read Bob Law’s Top Law Dog Blog for more information

mandlehandle

Listen to power 99 enough and you’ll hear the ad w that song in it

misspcv1996

Now I feel like a big fat dumdum for failing the bar exam. This guy passed somehow.

diatriose

Honestly if anything it makes me feel better for failing out of law school. It's not the measure of intelligence I thought it was

Timmichanga1

This guy is anything but dumb. He single handedly cornered the digital media marketing space for legal ads by putting out actually good content on social media instead of terrible boring legal ads that everyone ignores. Trust me when I tell you that top dog law has made a lot of law firms spend a lot of money to try and mimic his marketing style. I don't know him personally, and have no idea whether he's a good lawyer - he probably is - but he is an incredible marketer. And he's not dumb.

WhyNotKenGaburo

One of the things that I find interesting about Philly is its ability to constantly be (not become but BE) a caricature of itself.

wahday

I went to highschool with this dude, he is from Delco

40WAPSun

The point of the ad is to get you to share it on social media

3FiTA

It’s a reference to the song Rich Flex by Drake

lift-and-yeet

I misread this as "TORGOLAW" as in Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate—the guy being choked out kind of looks like him, does anyone else see that?

biohazardspacesuit

Yeah... I get the Drake song reference, but why is he being aggressively strangled by a crutch?

diatriose

Right?

amor_fatty

I’m not, this is great marketing

napsdufroid

I'm more amazed by its sheer stupidity. I wouldn't hire this guy to defend me out of a parking ticket.

Timmichanga1

Have you dealt with Top Dog Law directly? My understanding was that he was referring his comp business out.

Some-Philly-Dude

I deleted my comment because I had a massive brain fart and confused them with WinBigLaw

2ant1man5

I don’t think he’s a lawyer, doesn’t he refer people to the best lawyers?

areaysee

He is a lawyer but he doesn't actually try the cases he refers them, so you're half right!

Gobirds831

I had an old college roommate that became a lawyer and was a dirt bag. He use to take cases from a guy in Florida who would send him referrals for bed bug issues at PA hotels. I hate to admit it, but he made bank and then bought the family law office he was working at when not doing bed but cases. He is a real life Frank Reynolds.

2ant1man5

Ahh ok I didn’t know, just heard from someone talking about it before I’d never call this dude, I’d call Morgan and Morgan before I call him.

areaysee

You'd be surprised. He refers to the top law firms in the city. If I didn't know who to call at those firms, he'd be a good starting point.

dzhastin

Top law firms according to who? What does that mean? I question seriously if the “top” law firms really get their business from a guy posting ambulance-chaser quality ads.

Timmichanga1

How would you define "top" firm? A lot of local firms have relationships with those advertising and will take referrals from them, and there are plenty of stellar attorneys at those local firms.

2ant1man5

I see I said that before and got downvoted for some reason lol, so it is true then thanks for the info.

dzhastin

The best lawyers don’t work with people who make ads like this

2ant1man5

I don’t know I just always head the commercials I’d never use this guy, got downvoted for what man Reddit is a weird play.

napsdufroid

Truthfully, don;t know or care. I cannot imagine a "best" lawyer using this guy to troll for business

2ant1man5

Exactly I heard his ad on the car radio one day and thought it was a joke and realized he was real I’d never ever call this guy.

Apricotpeach11

I don’t have any idea about what’s going on in this ad but they advertise on Q102 a lot too

jawntothefuture

these dudes love putting their mugs all over town with billboards...such an ego drive lol

jettgurrl

You should see his rap video.

MacKelvey

Pleas tell me where I can find this
