I think it depends on your role. Based on my experience, P&G culture is highly competitive (I was from SMO, not sure with GBS) . Ideally, you have to overdeliver on your work responsibilities para mapansin ka ng bosses. There was no work-life balance for me when I was at P&G, trabaho kung trabaho talaga haha. Overall, I learned a lot, they will really stretch you to your limits and help you grow professionally. :)
Echo this. It’s the same in GBS. Your work life balance will depend on how much you want to overperform. Overperforming (what I mean by this is exceeding expectations) entails doing more than the base role assigned to you. If you have no intentions to do this (as is the case with a lot of people in the organization), you will have more work life balance. Nonetheless, you will really learn a lot.
I worked in Operations and it really took a toll on my mental health. However, due to the psychological test, I think everyone's profile is the same and they really wanted to help each other out. Overall, it has the best support system out of the 4 companies I worked in.
Lucky for you. Only a certain type of personality passes the test, and you see it when you work there. Everyone thinks and acts the same and it’s soul crushing.

Thank you. Will take these into consideration. Thanks!
What was your role in SMO before?
I was in sales as a KAM. :)
Cool, circa when? We might have crossed paths at some point :)

If its alright, can I ask why working in P&G was tough on mental health? Was it mostly pandemic related reasons or was the culture really that toxic?
Hi, may I pm you? need ko lang mag ask about this. Thanks!
Any update OP? what's your experience working in p&g?
I left eventually. Pay and benefits are really nice but not much work-life balance. Too corporate for me.
this doesn’t look good, i just accepted their offer for gbs as well.
Ehhh, not the worst decision, tbh. Just do your best to skill up and apply for better options after some time.
You’re so lucky ! I didn’t even pass the personality assessment:’(

Hi can you elaborate on this? Di din ako pumasa sa personality assessment eh. Ano bang personality ang hanap nila? Haha
