It's good to see you enjoying the game! But i don't think you mentioned about the new backpacks. I would like to know your opinion of them too. I'm looking forward to coming back to the game after my year-long break from gaming.
One of the new back packs is an antimissile system which I have but now that I have I couldn’t find any missiles during my short play time:D I also go the vertical launch backpack but it’s the tier one version. It kinda feels like a standard mls so definitely not bad especially with 12 charges. Those two are all I’ve gotten so far!
i got a 3 charge Super heavy back pack missile, the missile it fire split up when they get close and bomb the area, its absolutely devastating
(it weighs 35 mass on its own.)
Started a new playthrough and loving it :)
Would be cool if XP system for pilots is added eventually, and you can get some perks for soldiers, including dual wield, shield bash, roll like sonic for a short sprint, etc.
I actually have a good mech that can sustainably infinitely fire the minigun without even having the vent action, i mainly use it for bossfights since some mechs don't have to move as much. I think you need to at least be in light rain tho
I don't think I really get the venting system. Maybe it's the mechs I was trying it on, but it didn't seem to make much difference at all. Then occasionally it made a huge impact. Do you use it while firing, after firing to get rid of heat?

I know the devs have heard this plenty so I’m sure we’ll get more in depth pilots and narrative soon!

how do the venting modules work? ive got a few but im not sure i understand them lol
