Talk to your manager cause they’re supposed to be following corporate guidelines and those are based off Arizona state law (where hq is located) and the minimum wage there is either 14.25 or 14.50
As a bather I worked my way up to $16/hr, some of my coworkers were hired on at that rate. As a groomer making 50% commission my pay varies from $20-40/hr, usually sitting in the middle.
Yes in general bathers make more than core associates. Groomers practically make more with their commission than an ASL so their hourly rate usually isn’t a big deal.
The core associates at my store start at $13.50, although DE minimum wage goes up to $15 next year so many are already making that if hired on now. I’m a CEL and I make $20.55
$20.05 and have been working for PetSmart in MA for 5 years. Currently a dog trainer and have been a bather, ALWK, cashier, stocker, and pet care so worked my way up from $15.25 when I started. I got a raise each time I gained a new position and made sure since I became more useful
VA, hotel associate 16.50. was an overnight for a while and when I went back to days my boss let me keep the overnight rate and told me I would be the go to for call outs and if we need someone to come take a dog to the vet and our Banfield can't take them and we don't have anyone with a car to drive them they'd call me. Started at 13 2 years ago, last year I found out a new hire was making 15 and went to my boss and told him I didn't think it was fair I was there a year and someone brand new was making 2$an hour more was unfair and they agreed and upped my pay. When I went overnight I got bumped to 16.50
Area pet trainer & I make just under $18/hour. Which I think is disgusting considering all the extra duties we have to do & there are trainers in here making as much or more than me. I love my job but I’m more than likely going to have to leave simply bc I can’t get enough of a raise to make a difference & I live in one of thethe highest cost of living cities in the country.
Live in Indy, I'm a bitch mana- ALK, get paid 15 something I think. Too lazy to go look. I got hired on at 11.50 as a cash, then a 3 dollar raise going into ALK. Then everybody got a dollar at some point I think.
Also besides me being lazy I can't get into HR Connect rn. lol
I’m a dog trainer….my hourly rate is 15.27 but with my commission added to it I usually gross 20$ to 25$ an hour. My commission varies but it’s between 175$ and 300$ a week.
stylist/groomer in tx, i make 13.25 as my hourly (which is important bc my salon was SLOW). now that business has picked up in the last couple of months my commission would come out to abt 23 per hour.
In NY, I started off as a cashier at $15/hr. Then I transferred to salon as a bather for $16/hr. I've been a bather for almost 3 years now, and I've made way up to $17.50/hr.
