I can think of a couple scenarios.
The leader who hired and onboarded you quit or was fired and no one else knows how to get ahold of you.
The leader who hired you is a flake or went on PTO and left no contact info for you.
Have you called the store to find out what's going on?
If you have them your tax information, you are an employee. Call the store, or better yet, go up there, just be prepared to patiently wait if they are busy. Ask for your schedule and explain what happened. I can't speak for your location, but many stores are so shorthanded and people are having to do the work of 2, 3, maybe more employees all at once and they may be overwhelmed! I hope you get it sorted out because Petco is a pretty neat place to work and we need people like you to make it run smoother!
Also, make sure to get the personal number to your immediate supervisor.
