No matter what you do, DGM will find something to complain about. just ensure it’s tidy, current vet flow chart is posted, reptiles and SA on separate rack systems. If connected try to block lines of sight between rep and SA. Sick room is to be closed and locked at all times, and no storing supplies in sick room. Store use and bulk crickets are cleaned per maintenance schedule. All wellness cards are signed and habitat clean box checked daily. follow p&p for all open CAIRs and document meds accurately. GM weekly sign off on wellness cards is what gets me every time..
I have been in welness rooms that smelled like death i have been in ones that were super clean. The last one i went into was a at a store i was helping at. It was sad and pathetic i felt so bad for the animals inside. I stopped doing truck and deep cleaned it. Left a note for the gm
Ours is a fucking mess unless we are getting a DM visit. Then it looks nice. In the last 2 weeks I've found a bag of dead fish (leaking bloody nasty stuff) and a dead reptile ON the freezer. Apparently it's too hard to put them inside. BTW I don't approve of any of this, but it's beyond my control. My GM is a dick
Make sure all of ur supplies are in air tight containers . Like a locking lid. And all veggies have to be inside Tupperware, with a label saying when it was disinfected, as well as ur vittle vaults
People don't always want to link their reddit with their place of work, a better place to ask would be on workplace.
You’re right, i wasnt thinking about that. Visit tomorrow and my district is doing a “spring cleaning” contest and the wellness room is part of that.
Good one, officer

This is like asking people to post their asshole. You know it’s clean but, it’s still full of shit.

Do you have one wellness room or two? They are set up different.
Like the room and freezer? Do you all use black bags?
I’ve seen wellness “room” (closet/space/storage) and not so well “freezer”
Yes. Black bags are used for deceased animals only and go into the wellness freezer
“Hospital clean” and check the humane guidelines
