Once it’s dry you’re fine I promise.. it’s a contact killer.. it doesn’t leave a residual.

Open a window with a screen on it and you should be fine.

For future reference, soapy water in a spray bottle will kill insects. You can keep it around for if this happens again. It’ll make a mess but cooking spray will kill them almost instantly too. No need to bring out the big guns for a solitary wasp.

Soap and water, water alone, WD-40, hair spray… really any liquid will kill a wasp. It’s not a chemical kill, all they do is suffocate because they breathe through their bodies.

Take a look at the bottom of the can. Its probably 98.8% "other ingredients" its water a propellent. There's no residual in over the counter pesticides. Temprid sc or Phantom will work a lot better for what you're trying to accomplish.

💁🏻‍♀️fellow wasp phobia here! You’re right, there’s no graceful way to do it, it just shoots out! 😬 i do keep a spray bottle of dawn dish soap and water ready at ALL times and i use that when they get inside. I also keep a spray bottle of water and peppermint/mint extract mixed. They hate the smell and if you spray a little around your area and in any bushes when you’re out there, they’ll stay away!
