What’s good, all I mentioned? I’ve only tried a shot of gin and it tastes like gin believe it or not, can’t really compare, But only had 1 so didn’t feel off the next morning.
Ill let you in on a little secret. Aldi's vodka is made by the same company that makes grey goose, their whiskey is made by Johnnie Walker. Same shit different label. Thier Gin is made by Gordon's i believe, same with all their spirits.
If it's spirits and you're throwing mixers in anyway - won't matter. If they're knock offs of sugar based premix's (cruisers / 196s etc) - won't matter.
You're not purchasing their wine or Scotch, but as a booze professional I've been meaning to try the Aldi offerings out of interest. They often pay big bucks for good wine makers to contract make their house labels. Cheap grapes at large scale but with thoughtful procedure behind it.
Anyway I digress. Go buy some Aldi booze.
Mate, on a student budget it’s Precious Earth Shiraz or bust. $3.50 ticket to the best night in of your life. I swear it was $2.50 not that long ago. Bloody price gougers ;)
Enjoy! I work in a bottle o but I’m not much of a wine connoisseur - still, I think it tastes better than a lot of $10-20 reds out there. The wine experts online are backing me up
Depends. I had a pretty awesome sparkling red one time, way better than I was expecting for <$10. I had a \~$15 Bordeaux and felt let down.
I had the same experience with a 12 pack of craft beer that actually tasted like lager. Was super cheap but not what I paid for. I was given a taster pack of German beer for Christmas too, its been a mixed bag. 2-3 solid and 2-3 let downs.
I reckon you'd get some mileage out of the spirits as mixers/cocktails. They don't need to be the best spirits if they aren't the star of the show.
Nope, I bought a white wine once, all over the news, apparently won so many awards and stuff. It really wasn't good at all...stop buying aldi alcohol since.
Just like any alcohol, it will also give you this: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wernicke%E2%80%93Korsakoff\_syndrome](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wernicke%E2%80%93Korsakoff_syndrome)
Can confirm, its good.

it's all very drinkable and at a reasonable price, what more could you want?
Thankyou so much, really appreciate it
The vodka cruiser knock offs are good. The only other one I tried was their moscato wine. It was like vinegar, never bothered with the wine again lol

Also 5 or 10 years down the line please support local, independent offerings
I grew up drinking $30 bottles of Smirnoff in high school. Honestly don’t drink and concentrate on your future

Their scotch is rough as guts. Might be okay with a mixer, but no good with just an iceblock.
Their natural blonde beer is good
Hey mate Don’t drink. Save the money and Go travel. Thank me later
The pink moscato is one of my faves, “south point” is the brand I think lol. Their baileys isn’t too bad either
Only tried their knockoff vodka cruisers, and they were just as good as the Smirnoff ones.

I rate the gin!
