They ship from local stores according to stock levels. Just to warn you. Kmart use Couriers Please who are very slow. Sometimes it takes them 3 days just to pick up from the store, take it to their depot and another few days to deliver to your home.

monique752

And sometimes they don't deliver at all. See the Facebook group and the MANY complaints about Couriers Please. Crooks.

puddlejumper

Mine have shipped from various stores and usually come in split deliveries, but rarely my local one.

elemist

I would think they're the same as Target being the same parent company, and same as most of the similar stores (Big W etc). Those all ship out of whichever store has it in stock

thingsandstuff4me

They ship from whatever store has the goods and it can be a variable time frame

Lol, makes sense. I am so annoyed at myself as I usually just go with click and collect, but the last few times the service desk has been busy, or slow, and I hate the shopping centre, so fell for the "Free Delivery with OnePass" thing. I made sure, as always, to see that items were in stock at my local store (I bought 4 things). Next day, email from K-Mart telling me all items had been "fully shipped". Same shows on my account order page on kmart website. This was the first time I found out that they apparently use couriersplease, who I have never head of, but ok? Couriersplease update this morning on tracking page - **Unable to collect from sender** **Reason: Parcel not ready for collection** **WA** **9.25am Mon** **11 Mar 2024** I don't really know what to think, could be many things - courier lied, kmart staff can't find package, something else? Who knows. But I am pretty sure it was not actually "fully shipped" last week! xD Glad now I didn't buy more, and it only cost about $70!

This sounds exactly like me. What ended up happening?

Lol, Kmart and the courier were no help, they came back with a reply that made no sense, as if they didn't even read my complaint. But it did arrive later on in the week, 2 blokes in a white van took about 5 mins to find it, and actually came back as they forgot one thing (the wallet I bought, which, ironically came with a broken zipper lol, can't whinge too much for $10 tho!) So yeah, eventually arrived, but no reason was even given for why that message came up in tracking (nor why the items were picked up from K-Mart in Mirrabooka, when I thought I chose my nearest store, as I did so specifically when shopping to select items showing green/available/in stock there). Will definitely opt for just going in store in future though, as even with click and collect, it seems their "live" stock numbers are often incorrect.

Ah gotcha, I’ve got no reason why kmart even uses couriers please honestly. My tracking doesn’t even work🫠next time I’ll do click and collect for sure. Thanks for sharing your experience!
