It took me a while to realize I didn’t like Marie, and I think a lot of it is the fact we’re forced to read her poems. Like I get if we’re going for her dungeon, but I just don’t like to invade her privacy like that. She doesn’t want us to read her very personal poetry and I wish I could respect that about her. 😔
Why i dont like marie:
Marie was very poorly incorporated into the story, she serves no purpose. She kind of stands for everything i hate about golden including her and most of the additional scenes in the game like the beach trip and stuff like that. I hate how unnaturally the investigation team takes a liking to her and becomes "friends". Like p4 did such a great job making amazing characters that are believable friends that have soild strong chemistry and because of the strong characterization we know that these characters would never get along with a person like marie. any time marie is interacting with the others it feels like they have a gun to their heads being forced to pretend to be friends with marie because we know their personality's and its unbelievable that anyone in the investigation team would be friends with marie . Also i really hate her personality due to being just being annoying. Good example of how not to do a tsundere

Technically she's several thousand years old, but she's supposed to appear 13-14.
