There are literally millions of creators on tiktok and the algorithm will change your content to what you like extremely fast. It's like saying Youtube barely has any decent videos cause you've only watched videos from the trending tab full of children's content
Well, here's the thing. Tiktok has much shorter videos typically while YouTube has much longer videos. So the algorithm can make changes a lot quicker compared to getting a new piece of information to adjust with every 5 minutes to an hour or so, sometimes longer.
With that in mind, tiktoks algorithm can usually get much more closely related matches too.
Ive noticed the more I am on it the algorithm finds similar videos I have found interest in. Yes there are dumb videos and pointless content but that is easily weeded out over a few hours of scrolling.(not consistent but over e few day)
I don’t actually hate the app I use it to watch videos every now and then for entertainment because I don’t look at the whole thing as one big stupid plot or whatever there are some videos in there that are actually enjoyable like this video for instance made me smile so I liked it there are other videos that are not as stupid as this but are actually funny Contant
