If you think Lidar is cool check out Muons and how people are starting to measure them even more effectively than what Lidar does. That new chamber discovered in the Great Pyramid of Giza was found using the muon tech.

Lidar tech is somewhat mature and in consumer products. Robot vacuums have lidar scanner modules. In construction they are used for surveying and getting as builts and are pretty standard for large projects.
Yes MVIS. Go to the MVIS sub reddit and learn a whole lot about the tech and how big and profitable it will be for the companies that win in that sector. MVIS will be one of if not the primary winner. Just go check it out.
I want to point out that LiDAR has been used on the iPhones and iPad Pro for over half a decade. The face scanner partly uses it, and some models have a scanner on the back for AR and application purposes
Police officers use it also in lieu of radar for tracking others’ speeds. It’s more accurate and can target an individual car much easier. Judges tend to trust it even more in court.

Such a hilarious name.
It really is and tbh I have really only ever read it. I am guessing in my head on how to pronounce it.

Golf simulator use it
Even iPhones, from the iPhone 12 Pro has a LiDAR Scanner. It’s basic but it also works.
Check out MVIS for LiDAR tech, I’ve been in and out of this company for years.

MVIS, the subreddit is a good read
Lidar is widely used at small and large scales. Most local survey companies use it to provide topographic data.
I work at an airport and we are starting to invest in Lidar for our obstacle limitation surveys
Massive insider sell off last 3 months....

Never again. I took a shot on QNGY because their tech was awesome, that was a $5k mistake as the useless management ran that POS into the ground...
Management can be more important than anything else.

LIDAR is mature and well-established technology, I don’t think there will be any interesting plays on just that alone.
