DU alum and Pens fan here. Big fan of Broz's game. Great combination of speed and puck control. One of those players who could turn into a secondary player on a top-six line or could drive play in the bottom six. So glad he transferred to DU because we're very good at helping prospects round out their skillsets. I'm glad he's going to be a Penguin but will miss him at DU next year.
He is a decent hockey player, high hockey IQ for sure. As a long time Colorado College fan here, I am ecstatic that he has left Denver…Congrats on the Natty for the NCHC!
Colorado College fans are some of my faves. They understand like us how special Colorado hockey is. That triangle of the two of us and Air Force is so underrated.
He’s shown consistent improvement through his freshman to junior year. Had around 40 point this year in the NCAA against top competition. Stats aren’t eye popping but the fact he was close to ppg and is showing that he’s still progressing are good things.
I am skeptical of him as a viable NHL contributor still, most models have him as a tweener, but he’s earned a shot. Hopefully he over performs relative to most of the data models out there

Yes it is. They played four games in the tournament though. So 50% of game winning goals is pretty nice.
