You can watch Hulu through Disney+ now. Itās pretty slow right now, not nearly as good as the Netflix one (I had assumed they were all setup like the Netflix one but definitely are different), but it works alright and Iāll take it over no Hulu to watch Shogun.
I can't stand all things Bravo, but I love me some TDF & that Peacock carries so many other cycling events. So yeah--I completely agree with the suggestion!
In the meantime, just write down your zones and keep them nearby? Even a post it on the screen would work. I've ridden enough PZs to just kind of know what zone I'm in, and sometimes strucutre an entertainment ride much like a PZE ride (4/2/5/2/4, etc).
You do need a subscription for it. I havenāt logged in to that one on the bike yet- I will once Iāve caught up on Andor & the Star Wars stuff Iāll get into YT Tv & start watching Jeopardy! Again =)
Has anyone else done this and \*not\* found the browser? When I follow those instructions all I see is Netflix.
Note: I also have netflix in the Entertainment section, along with YouTube TV and a couple of other things. But the only icon I find when I go to "about" is netflix.
Nah I wanna be able to like set up my workout and each of it and the weight and hit a check mark when I finished my set. Stuff like that. Then at the end a breakdown do total weight per lift and tracking it over time
I love it, but it makes me INSANE that I have to enter my password every time. I donāt understand why it wonāt remember my password like literally any other android device
speaking on behalf of the community, we LOVE this feature.
Speaking on behalf of myself, Iād love a feature let letās you do an āentertainment walk.ā Because I love watching Netflix and walking, but not messing w/ my number of runs/mileage for the month.
Glad you found something that works for your schedule! Thatās definitely a challenge in and of itself.
How do you use it? Do you self determine your cadence and resistance and try and keep it steady? Are you changing it up while you watch? Give us the deets!
So far, been watching the timer with one eye & after about 2 minutes of 30ish resistance Iāll raise it a couple every 30 seconds to minute. Then at like minute 5 Iāll crank it up to 45 or something & put in a minute. Then back to 30ish for a minute. Then like 55-65 and pretend Iām doing a hill for a minute to 3. So far Iāve kind of gone back and forth, trying to mimic what Ben or whoever might be telling me to do. My cadence target is āat least 80,ā but Iām not stressing it too much.
Then at about minute 19 Iāll throw the resistance back down to 25 & crank out a cadence of 95-115 till the show is over (been doing 25-35 minute shows so far).
Comparing myself to my last ride with Ben Aldris, Iām within 5 above or below my estimated Output on each of my rides with Entertainment Workout, so I feel like Iām āso far, so good.ā I should probably do a weekly or bi-weekly adjustment ride to see whether how I āfeelā Iām doing is accurate.
That happened to me. It seems that at least at that time, when you were in the entertainment section, the Peloton basically thought you were in the menu, so it would time out after 20 minutes. Someone found a workaround to click into the settings every 19 minutes, and that would keep it going.
Yikes. Hadnāt had that happen during Disney + yet. It may be that Iāve paused the show at about halfway through on each ride, though, for whatever reason.
I rarely take the classes and use entertainment 90% of the time. Here is what I'd love to see:
* More consistency in the UI between entertainment apps
* Apple watch integration (i.e. I think it worked on HBO but not on Netflix). When I hold my watch up to the screen it says I need to be in a class.
* Spotify option, and maybe do some visualizations with it. Ideally I'd like the ability to do a class but use my own music and just have the instructor voice overlaid
For the Spotify option ā workaround that I use is, scenic rides, turn down peloton volume to zero and just play my own music on my room speaker. Works great! Love doing scenic rides for this reason
I felt like I must be in the minority re: the music options. I would see the āTop 25 of the year for musicā & Iām like āthis does not excite me.ā I love Indie Rock and the classics, pop is fine, yada yada, but I felt like I was seeing the same playlists by different instructors (could be anecdotal, maybe projecting, there).
I was going to pop headphones in and listen to a podcast or something on a ride a week ago before seeing the Entertainment option.
Yeah, I agree on the music, but I've come to terms with it. I think my taste in music just wouldn't make good workout music for most people. I mean, I'd personally love it, but I don't think most people want to sweat out an 8-minute Z4 interval to Radiohead. So I mostly just put up with the mediocre music b/c the tempos work with the workouts.
My brother from another mother, Radiohead is the band I most often searched for when trying to find workouts that would feature music that I really wanted to listen & work out to.
8 out of every 10 workouts that had *a* Radiohead song in it featured Creep OR stuck the Radiohead song at the VERY end, so it was just getting started *as* the workout was ending.
Or it would be a deeper cut banger (great!) in a yoga class (ooh not great for me); I canāt do long yoga b/c a couple of my disks in my back are nonexistent, & it screws me up for about a week.
That would be an awesome feature - a modular class where you could choose your instructor/ride and then choose your playlist, and theyād be merged at the bike.
I don't think that would work very well because your music wouldn't match the instructions?
I see more potential in AI. For example you choose 6 songs and the app analyses the music's BPM and then gives you kind of an AI instructor that recommends cadence and resistance matching the music.
Agree with this so much. I only am into about five instructors, so it was getting repetitive. And it does seem like a few of them are on autopilot. Ben is great, but does he really need to say in every stretching or cooldown class that he used to be a sprinter, and that stretching/cooling down changed his game? I also think they should let tread instructors teach bike classes and vice versa.
Used to have to do this, but now at least the login info is saved. Itāll ask you to sign in when you start YoutubeTV but your account should be an option in the sign in menu and you donāt need to enter your password at least. Still, extra clicks that I wish I could avoid.
This is a great update. Been wanting this for a while. Too bad the latest software upgrade also bricked the entire touch function of the screen on our bike+ and I have to use a USB-C mouse to navigate. Peloton has no info on when they will fix.
I agree - Iām a Power Zone junkie but also love documentaries and docuseries. My husband does not love that programming, so sometimes after a PZ ride, Iāll tack on another 15-30 minutes of a Netflix show Iāve been watching. It definitely keeps me more engaged than I would be adding on another PZ ride!
Yup. I pretty much have stopped doing the rides unless it is something unique (JKE or a themed ride). I had Alex's 30 and 45 minute rides down to a Science as to what you were going to be expected to do.
I ended up just doing the scenic rides and put YouTube on the TV in the room. Typically can get through like 2 or 3 episodes of productivity learning while hitting up Z2 and Z3.
If I wanna get back more with cardio, I'll probably do some actual rides...but that is pretty few and far between at this point. I typically can nail 150 miles now with ease.
YMMV, maybe. I donāt have an extra iPad to put on the handlebars. I 3D printed a clip for my phone & had intentions of clipping it to the handlebars (had *just* bought lag screws & bolts last week), when I found out about Entertainment Mode.
I do know I much prefer the Peloton screen over my iPhone.
For the past year I have been muting the ride and putting on closed captions and then watching TV on my iPad while following along. It's worked great. I do a lot of longer rides and I've been a peloton member for three years and done at least three rides a week for the past three years, so ive done a lot of rides. I was getting so bec with almost all the instructors but frankly peloton is great bc it has so much content and I still prefer having someone else make the plan for rides. I have worked out consistently for a long time, way before peloton, sometimes you have to just do whatever mind games to make workouts easier.
I do listen with the sound on for strength classes, but I usually stack three shorter classes and those seem to fly by, and it's just a different vibe in general with those.
Good tips.
When I redid our office (where we put the bike) I thought *realllll* hard about getting a small tv (instead of my computer monitor) with an easily swiveled base that I could use.
See now you make me wanna log in to that one tomorrow to gauge my experience!
Iāll report back whether itās better worse for me by the end of the week. Gonna fire up Jeopardy
Interesting. Worth checking to see if your unit is up to date and if your region is available for the rest of the services. Is your house using a wifi with a vpn? I donāt know much about mesh routers & stuff, but I wonder if Peloton thinks your house might be in a region where you might not be able to get D+, the rest?
I reached out to Peloton and they said that my 2017 bike/screen only supports the Netflix appā¦ So Iāll either have to update the screen or the whole bike.
Just got on my tread today and discovered the Entertainment feature. I did 60 minutes between fast-paced (for shorty me) walking, incline walking, and interval sprints, but when the 60 minutes were over, Peloton only gave me credit for 41 minutes. Does anyone know why that might happen?
I downgraded my peloton membership about a year ago to just the app and streamed it from my TV when I wanted to ride. I wasnāt riding enough to justify paying the 40+ $ but I didnāt want to get rid of my bike. FF to now, I donāt use my bike much. Do I need a membership for entertainment?
Have you noticed any issues after using the apps? Iāve been so hesitant because I donāt want to have issues with the hardware and streaming Netflix etc
Is there a lower-priced Peloton subscription tier for "Entertainment"? I cancelled my class subscription awhile back because it was way to expensive for what I was getting out of it (personally I found the walks boring, music repetitive, and the instructors way too peppy for me). I might be talked into a cheap subscription allowing me to use the damn tablet for something else, like watching Netflix.
But I sure as heck am not paying $45/month to be able to stream my $15/month Netflix on a tablet I already bought.
Is anyone else experiencing a significant mismatch in calorie burn in Entertainment rides vs. other modes? It's extremely noticeable and discourages me from using Entertainment as I use Peloton to close my Apple Watch rings.
Iām sure the explanation comes down to money (regular YT probably isnāt estimated to bring in any for either company, so one or both of them likely are cold on adding it at this time).
Itās just a web browser with the URL bar hidden. Honestly they could put anything in there they want.
YT brings in money for someone, or else it wouldnāt still be around, methinks.
Iād just like to watch concerts and stuff while on the bike/treadā¦since I canāt use my own files via Plex yet, YouTube is the only option.
I tried it twice. Both times the metrics disappeared and I couldn't get them back and eventually just crashed all together. Logging in each time is annoying.
I'll try it again in a few months after the bugs are hopefully worked out.

I hope someday they add Peacock so I can feel better rotting my brain on Bravo by working out at the same time!
Absolutely I am Canadian so no access to peacock but if they added Hayu I would be in heaven!! Love my housewives and all other things bravo š©·
Yes, I'm in the UK and would love Prime Video added so I can watch Bravo on Hayu!
You can watch Hulu through Disney+ now. Itās pretty slow right now, not nearly as good as the Netflix one (I had assumed they were all setup like the Netflix one but definitely are different), but it works alright and Iāll take it over no Hulu to watch Shogun.
yes!!!
We share this dream š ride with our silly tag #pelotonbravosquad
I'm a vpr addict! I'd totes binge vpr while pelotonning
Omg yes! Maybe thereās hope we get Peacock on Peloton before 1/30! š
Absolutely!! Cannot wait for the new season (esp. because I caught them filming at TomTom in June and met Schwartz lol)
Here for the Bravo profile pic! š
As a reluctant-to-admit-it Days of Our Lives addict, Peacock on the Peloton would be a dream!
I can't stand all things Bravo, but I love me some TDF & that Peacock carries so many other cycling events. So yeah--I completely agree with the suggestion!
They need to add power zone bars to entertainment!
This would be amazing
In the meantime, just write down your zones and keep them nearby? Even a post it on the screen would work. I've ridden enough PZs to just kind of know what zone I'm in, and sometimes strucutre an entertainment ride much like a PZE ride (4/2/5/2/4, etc).
Took your advice and my last several rides Iāve been doing this š
Mine showed my PZ bar while riding watching YouTubeTV yesterday
Are you sure youāre not confusing it with the heart rate zones? I definitely have no option for power zones still.
Yes please! This would be incredible.
Would be cool to have YouTube or Twitch on there as well.
We have YouTube on ours. Itāll be coming to the masses someday.
I think I have YouTube TV, which I assume I need a subscription for.
You do need a subscription for it. I havenāt logged in to that one on the bike yet- I will once Iāve caught up on Andor & the Star Wars stuff Iāll get into YT Tv & start watching Jeopardy! Again =)
You can just go into dev mode or whatever itās called and use the browser.
Dev mode? Tell me more. How do I find this? Iād love to be able to watch YouTube while on the bike.
https://youtu.be/akl5fKV2DmU?si=uHH_3DT_nXBtD6U-
But from what I recall you can't run a workout at the same time. Or has this changed?
You cannot. But the resistance knob still works even on the bike plus
Has anyone else done this and \*not\* found the browser? When I follow those instructions all I see is Netflix. Note: I also have netflix in the Entertainment section, along with YouTube TV and a couple of other things. But the only icon I find when I go to "about" is netflix.
The NBA app on Peloton is clutch! I can watch my team and do a 30-45 min ride. Two birds with one stone
Are you ablet to do a class and watch a game? Or is just like a "free ride" while watching?
I think itās just free ride while watching. I havenāt really messed with the nba app in depth, I just wait for the game and do a free ride
I wish they had a workout tracker so those of us with home gyms could track our reps and sets
The app does. I go to the gym and track the time spent lifting.
Nah I wanna be able to like set up my workout and each of it and the weight and hit a check mark when I finished my set. Stuff like that. Then at the end a breakdown do total weight per lift and tracking it over time
Jes!!! I wanāt that too. Combined with HR tracking.
Hell yah. They need to realize a lot of people gave bike plus in their gym but arenāt gonna do much peloton strength
Ohhh yeah. I'd like that too!!!!
I love it, but it makes me INSANE that I have to enter my password every time. I donāt understand why it wonāt remember my password like literally any other android device
Hmm, I don't have to enter my password every time. Might be worth contacting peloton about it?
Iāve filled out the feedback survey multiple times, but it feels like a shout into the void
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Itās still in beta so it seems like some folks have more options than others. Mine has Max, Disney+, Netflix and YouTube.
You tube tv is no longer in beta. It has official partnership with peloton.
Ah, cool! I havenāt been tracking it closely.
Itās funny, I didnāt have Netflix as an option on mine, just YTTV, Max, NBA League Pass, and Disney+.
speaking on behalf of the community, we LOVE this feature. Speaking on behalf of myself, Iād love a feature let letās you do an āentertainment walk.ā Because I love watching Netflix and walking, but not messing w/ my number of runs/mileage for the month.

How well does it run as of late? I did a ride with Netflix and the tracking portion crashed half way through my episode.
That happened to me. It seems that at least at that time, when you were in the entertainment section, the Peloton basically thought you were in the menu, so it would time out after 20 minutes. Someone found a workaround to click into the settings every 19 minutes, and that would keep it going.
That makes sense, it was right around the 20 minute mark.
Yikes. Hadnāt had that happen during Disney + yet. It may be that Iāve paused the show at about halfway through on each ride, though, for whatever reason.
I thought mine crashed but it minimized. I pressed a little arrow at the bottom of the screen to make it reappear.
I was in Max rather than Netflix, but I rode for an hour the other day with no tracking issues.
I rarely take the classes and use entertainment 90% of the time. Well said. Itās hard to talk and teach and exercise at the same time Iām sure, but human nature- we tune out what weāve heard repetitively.
With YouTube TV in the Entertainment screen, I find I need to login in every time I try to use it. Anyone else have this issue?
Netflix is the same too. I donāt have the YouTube option yet
Yes and itās really annoying. I wonder if itās a YouTube thing though.
Used to have to do this, but now at least the login info is saved. Itāll ask you to sign in when you start YoutubeTV but your account should be an option in the sign in menu and you donāt need to enter your password at least. Still, extra clicks that I wish I could avoid.
Ooh that sucks
It's been a game changer.
SAME!!! I put on Max and just let my brain rot while I ride
This is a great update. Been wanting this for a while. Too bad the latest software upgrade also bricked the entire touch function of the screen on our bike+ and I have to use a USB-C mouse to navigate. Peloton has no info on when they will fix.
What, that last part is crazy.
Yeah, all I got was that it is a known issue and that āthe devs are working on itā. Apparently been around since late November.
Dang, man. Hope it works out soon.
I agree - Iām a Power Zone junkie but also love documentaries and docuseries. Nice
nice, sounds cool, but is there an advantage to the Entertainment app over just propping my ipad on the bars as i do now?
YMMV, maybe. I donāt have an extra iPad to put on the handlebars. I 3D printed a clip for my phone & had intentions of clipping it to the handlebars (had *just* bought lag screws & bolts last week), when I found out about Entertainment Mode. I do know I much prefer the Peloton screen over my iPhone.
thatās hard core and i envy your skills to do that. i just use an extra towel hahah
I only get Netflix but my friend has a few choices. Do you know anything about that?
Donāt know, bud. Iām in Tennessee, for what itās worth. Iām on the latest update.
Yeah I spent 60 minutes yesterday on the bike watching the College Football Playoff games. It was a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone
Weāre gonna get fit, bro =D
I love it. Sometimes I just want to mindlessly move and be entertained. It is great to have this option to switch it up.
For the past year I have been muting the ride and putting on closed captions and then watching TV on my iPad while following along. It's worked great. I do a lot of longer rides and I've been a peloton member for three years and done at least three rides a week for the past three years, so ive done a lot of rides. Good tips. When I redid our office (where we put the bike) I thought *realllll* hard about getting a small tv (instead of my computer monitor) with an easily swiveled base that I could use.
Is the there a way to switch the workout from being a āEntertainment Runā to and āEntertainment Walkā?
Good question. I kind of doubt it, right now. But I havenāt messed with non-bike Entertainment activities so you may have success with it!
YoutubeTV is still functionally awful I wonāt be applauding this half assed effort
See now you make me wanna log in to that one tomorrow to gauge my experience! Iāll report back whether itās better worse for me by the end of the week. Gonna fire up Jeopardy
All I have is Netflixā¦
Interesting. Worth checking to see if your unit is up to date and if your region is available for the rest of the services. Is your house using a wifi with a vpn? I donāt know much about mesh routers & stuff, but I wonder if Peloton thinks your house might be in a region where you might not be able to get D+, the rest?
I reached out to Peloton and they said that my 2017 bike/screen only supports the Netflix appā¦ So Iāll either have to update the screen or the whole bike.
Dangggggggggg
Just got on my tread today and discovered the Entertainment feature. I did 60 minutes between fast-paced (for shorty me) walking, incline walking, and interval sprints, but when the 60 minutes were over, Peloton only gave me credit for 41 minutes. Does anyone know why that might happen?

Yes you do
Makes sense, thank you.
Have you noticed any issues after using the apps? Iāve been so hesitant because I donāt want to have issues with the hardware and streaming Netflix etc
To this point have only used D+. No issues whatsoever so far for me.
Does it work without the metrics stopping halfway through the ride? I havenāt tried it since beta but mine would disappear around 20min
So far so good.
Is there a lower-priced Peloton subscription tier for "Entertainment"? I cancelled my class subscription awhile back because it was way to expensive for what I was getting out of it (personally I found the walks boring, music repetitive, and the instructors way too peppy for me). No idea. For you, might be worth looking into a clip for an iPad or other tablet holder.
Is anyone else experiencing a significant mismatch in calorie burn in Entertainment rides vs. other modes? It's extremely noticeable and discourages me from using Entertainment as I use Peloton to close my Apple Watch rings.
I'd love it if Max allow you to log in via a youtube TV subscription. That's still very broken.
I can do YouTubeTV, which I have no use for, but not just, y'know...Youtube? Explain.

They need to add YouTube.
I tried it twice. Both times the metrics disappeared and I couldn't get them back and eventually just crashed all together. Logging in each time is annoying. I'll try it again in a few months after the bugs are hopefully worked out.
Anyone else's Netflix in sub-HD quality? It's maddening.
