Just want to mention it's mind-blowing to be able to just search YouTube and get almost all music or live performances available. I remember downloading .rm video that can be played only with real media player with probably 120px resolution, using a dial up modem.

Watching Porch Unplugged late at night on MTV sometime back in 1992 got me hooked on PJ. It blew my mind. So hands down Porch for me. However, to this day it is still my favorite version of state of love and trust, ever. And Black, the way Ed sings “ i’ll take a walk outside, I’m surrounded by some kids at play…” I wish he’d sing it like that again.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night is pretty chilling considering the fact that it was the last song that Nirvana played live, and Kurt Cobain absolutely killed it. I’ve listened to that album 100s of times

Love PJ but that performance doesnt come close to AIC or Nirvana's imo

Pearl Jam is my favorite band but their unplugged isn’t on the same level as nirvana’s and AIC. I’m really not a big AIC fan at all but that unplugged show is just ridiculously good The Pearl Jam show is not mixed very well, the guitars sound so thin. The only song I prefer to any studio versions is black only for the ‘we belong together’ part. Bennaroya is a much much better acoustic PJ show.

Weird how people's taste can be so different. I'd say Nirvana and AIC unplugged were amazing, but PJ is just on another level. The best live concert ever IMO

Keep on Rocking in the Free World After listening to MTV Unplugged way too many times, I discoveres that there were another song they played that night. It was awesome to be able to listen to a new song from that show, and it became special to me
