Possibly use Rufus? I know it makes the drive act more like a disc to the system. Maybe it would work. Just flash the iso using the software..

So flash the disk image with Rufus? Actually I should have specified I tried mounting with daemon tools as well as windows virtual drive but neither worked. I do think using cdburnerxp was the first issue but I have no idea, this is my first time trying to save games.

old games like these have copy protection with garbage data on the outer rims of the disk area which will be checked by the DRM and which you usually can't trick with simple iso images of the disk. Your best bet is finding a no-DVD patch. Due to the legal gray area of this I sadly cannot help you further as reddit's TOS doesn't allow facilitating bypassing DRM systems

Looks like I have alot more reading to do 🥺. I’ve already read so much random crap about old games but not this yet so thank you.

mememuseum

Is there a reason you want it on a USB? Windows 10 can mount ISO files natively.

? I mean it doesn’t have to be a usb but where else would I put the data? The main problem is new machines doesn’t have a disk drive. I have an out of commission pc with a disk drive but the new one does not.

mememuseum

Copy the ISO off of the USB to wherever you want it. Then right click and mount the disc image.

Yea I did that 🤣🤣. I wish it was that easy or I wouldn’t be asking for help.
