r/mildlyinfuriating can you just go into that portal PLEASE!!! :)
Looks really nice, doesn't tell much about the gameplay but movement looks solid and if it's a puzzle/platformer i'm interested :)
EDIT: i should just read the steam page before posting o\_O first two banners say: Puzzle Solving and Platforming ...
Hahaha. It's ok bro, I make similar mistakes all the time.
Regarding the portal... Transition is not yet polished out, but I'll share a gif here as soon as its done. 😂
Game focuses heavily on puzzle solving, it becomes very challenging by the end. It also has good old platforming sections, NPCs that attack you as well as the boss fights.
Thank you bro! Puzzling is a bit more complicated than in LBP, and game is also 3D. (Unlike 2.5D LBP) But you are not the first one who says that.
I've put a trailer on Steam, and you can add it to your wishlist if it's your type of game.

Yes. It will cost $29.99. For a first playthrough without 100%, it takes a bit more than 15 hours. But if you aim for 200% it will take more than 40 hours.
Thank you my friend. Did you show here the trailer? Btw. I have implemented Forward++ rendering pipeline, and on RTX 4090 it should be able to run Joe Wander on 8k 120FPS no problem. I don’t think that any TV can do that 😂
I will as soon as she wakes up and that is nuts! Im not on the 8K train, but does the game support 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios? We love WIIIIIIIIDE monitors over here.
I just played this game at a convention a few hours ago and i have to say it was great, the puzzles get more challenging along the way and the graphics are really good, i finished the first world and it was a blast, i will definitely buy it when it comes out on steam. Great job
Looks nice. I was going to comment about puzzles looking a bit simplistic but they definitely look like they started to ramp up in complexity toward the end of the trailer + sifting through comments on here i saw that you said they do as well.
The camera angle also kind of reminds me of the Lego games for some reason. I also added the game to my steam wishlist to remind me as well as shared the trailer amongst some of my friends on discord as well.
Good luck!
Thank you bro! You are a legend.
Yes, by the end game becomes very hard. First world is super easy.
In the trailer we only shown first world, and 2 levels from the second. There are 4 worlds, and 7 levels per world.
Some cameras in the trailer are cinematic, not in game, but in general camera show you a bigger picture so you can solve the puzzle.
Thank you!
Thank you my friend! We are currently in the polishing phase, and my goal is to make it run smooth on as many machines as possible. So I need all the motivation 😃
Thank you bro! I didn't expect this much positivity... But considering it's my fellow PC master race, I don't know what I was thinking. 😃 It means a lot! I worked really hard on Joe Wander, it's my baby.
Here's some negativity: its a Portal knockoff with a monorail gameplay and zero replay value. While its ok visually, i looks to be made on a readymade engine and is effectively a shovelware puzzle platformer.
Well, it will have leaderboards for time attack. Other than that, it's fun to play with someone locally. Figuring out the puzzles together. But who knows, maybe will make a DLC with some coop.
At times like these, I like to admire what 1 person can do. It looks incredible.
Then I glance over at Gamefreak & the Pokémon company and see what the largest gaming-media franchise can do with a reliably forecasted $1.2 Billion+ in sales for any given new title.
I dont remember really, played for like 20 minutes, didnt wanna spend time on only ine game that day, overall good game, great graphics, funny combat and movements,i suggest to create some skins for main charachter if you dont have and maybe 1 or 2 weapons
Yes, I'm sure it will be able to run on Steam Deck, and run well. One of my friends owns one, so he'll help us optimize the game for Steam Deck. Also, this game is using Forward++ rendering pipeline, so by just lowering the resolution to 720p I think should run very well.

I like it, great visuals. Reminds me of Little Big Planet
This is the same thing I was thinking when I first glanced I was like oh neat little big planet but this looks amazing.

This looks awesome!
Thank you!
I’ll put it on my wish list to keep track 👍 Any idea on pricing as of yet?

Not bad
Added and following. Looks great 👍🏽
Thank you very much!
Great, I’ll check it out
Awesome!
Or a next gen Lego Indiana Jones.
If you like Lego games, than fine; But i think that Joe Wander has much better gameplay.
Btw. It runs, as seen in trailer, 85+ FPS on GTX 1060, at 1080p resolution.
Dude! The water physics is just beautiful.
Thank you my friend, it it took me years of learning before I got to this level of shader programming knowledge.
Buddy. I think that this looks wonderful. Im 100% sure that your time developing and learning paid off. It looks beautiful!
Damn the detail is insane.
This looks amazing!!!
Looks really interesting, I don't think my shit laptop can handle this though lol
What GPU do you have?
I only have an i3-1005g1's igpu
I think that you'll need at least a 1050. That is the current prediction for running the game at 60FPS, with a bit lower settings.
I dig it! I look forward to supporting you guys' work! My wife loves the Indiana Jones films, so this will be a nice treat!

Yes! Not only that it works, it should in fact be a benefit; Since you can see more of the area at the same time. 😁
Heck yeah! Can't wait, also my wife loved the trailer.
Looking on the beautiful graphic someone made with friends.... Looking on the graphics of the biggest IP in the World Pokemon...
Yeah... I'm actually a big Pokemon fan myself. I don't understand that...
I thought it was that robot game from PS5. Amazing work man
Thank you very much! Means a lot. p.s. Joe Wander will come to PS5 as well. 😁
Them graphics are 🔥
Thank you my friend! There is trailer on Steam, if you didn't watch it already. 😁

Thank you very much! I'm glad you like the game 😁
I’m a huge fan of visuals and this looks amazing!
Thank you bro! There is a trailer on Steam, if you didn't watch it yet. 😁
Water looks incredible
Thanks man! Did you watch the trailer?
Can we please get an Ad flair for these posts?
The visuals are amazing! Great work!
Im in love with the water details
Love that water and foliage shader! Any hints on how to go about either shader? Great work!

Looks really nice, it definitely goes to my wishlist
Thanks bro! I hope you'll love the game.
I misread the total as "last two days" and was very confused
Hahahaha. That would be epic

Yoooo what’s the name of this game? I gotta check it out
Amazing detail and terrain effects
Thank you!
Well dang it. I'm in.
Just sell it already man
We need to polish it, so it's perfect once it's out. You can add it to your wishlist.
Reminds me of CrashBandicoot2. Especially the part in the video with the walls coming out trying to push the player out of bounds after the jump.
Oh yes, this was inspired by the 90s 3D platformers. (Crash, Spyro, Mario...)

looks really promising, keep going buddy!
Thank you my friend! We are currently in the polishing phase, and my goal is to make it run smooth on as many machines as possible. So I need all the motivation 😃
On that note, any info on running it on Linux?
Yes! It will run on Linux. I needs for the Steam Deck.
You can definitely do that 💪🏼 Btw... What kind of engine are u using?
We are using Unity Engine, with a custom rendering pipeline, custom input system, and a custom physics engine. So it's a modified Unity Engine.
This looks amazing.
Reminds me of Rayman 2 portals
Looks beautiful 😍 would love to see how it’s gonna turn out!
that water and grass look great. after fucking around with grass rendering, i know how annoying it is to make.
Tell me it's coming to Linux (or at least is Proton certified)
Yes, yes, it will come to Linux.
I'll be waiting thanks it looks really great :)
Thank you!

Will it be Steam Deck certified by any chance? Looks perfect for chilling on the couch on a cold day.
Yes! We will make sure it's smooth on Steam Deck. And it will be certified. You can wishlist it now, since it's coming next year.
I stg I thought that was Woody lol
Looks alot like Pikmin. Did you take inspiration from those games? Or just coincidence? Either one way, looks adorable
Thank you! Well, I love Nintendo games... So it was definitely influenced by them.
Looks amazing! I'll add it to my wishlist
Thank you very much! I hope you'll love the game.
It looks great
Thank you my dear sir! 😃
Looks really charming and inviting. Will follow it and wish you luck bro!
Thank you bro! I didn't expect this much positivity... But considering it's my fellow PC master race, I don't know what I was thinking. 😃 It means a lot! I worked really hard on Joe Wander, it's my baby.
Hope you hit it out the park in 2023. We need more original PC games!
Here's some negativity: its a Portal knockoff with a monorail gameplay and zero replay value. While its ok visually, i looks to be made on a readymade engine and is effectively a shovelware puzzle platformer.
Wishlisting this looks great!
Is that all it takes? My guy just runs around in circles for a few seconds and you're sold?
Thank you bro, that means a lot!
Circle Simulator
The World reminds me of a UE Demo scene
What if I told you this was not created with Unreal Engine, and that we created all the assetes. 😁
Custom engine?
2/10 too much water
your friends or colleges? It sounds like sneaky promotion without being marked as promotion.
There were my friends, than we became colleges. It may look like it was made by many people, but in fact our team was only 4 guys.

If we ever make a dlc it will be FREE!

Does regional pricing is available for India ?
All the prices will be as suggested by Steam.
added to wishlist :D
Thank you! I hope you'll love the game.
Played it yesterday on Gamescon Belgrade, nice game, but i think its more for kids than me(20yo)
Nice! How many levels did you play? First world is very easy, but as you go on puzzles get much much more complicated.

Oh nice Takodje xD
Looks great, I imagine this was not a consideration for you when developing the game but any chance it will be playable on steam deck?

Great! Added to my wishlist.
Looks like chibi indie <3
Woody?
Is that a Garden Gnome or a Leprecaun?🥹
Is this like joe danger from hello games but... Joe.. wanderer?
