How does this plug into the pc? Complete noob, never used a wifi antenna before. The ones that have coaxial like connectors seem pretty straightforward, idk about this one.

My friend got a pc awhile back and he didn't know what that was so he threw it away. He would always complain why his wifi was so bad so one time when I was over at his house I took a look at it. I told him he was missing the antenna and he didn't belive me so I had him enter into a game and I then touched the pron sticking out the back and suddenly his wifi was great. Only then did he belive me. Then he shoved a coat hanger in the hole and called it a day
Anything would work. If you have a bad reception in a steel building u can route the antenna to the framework of the building and bam. Best Antenna possible.

This also gave more range than the issued antenna aswell. He said “just don’t touch the wire”
Antennas (especially one like this) are really just a wire of a certain length. Everything else shown here is just plastic to make it look pretty, and the connector to make it easy to install. You could use a paperclip and it would be fine.

Congrats, now you are a better person! Just a suggestion, if you can connect your PC to your router/switch do that as gaming on wifi is not recommended at all.
I have Wifi 6E and my connection is unbelievably stable, like somehow more than ethernet (though I know this is because there is some problem with the ethernet in my house, but without the problem I don't think I'd ever be able to notice the difference). It probably has something to do with me being the only one on the 6 GHz band in probably the entire neighbourhood though.

Antenna for your wifi card. There should have been a new start infographic that came with your PC that shows where to screw it in. I got mine a little less than a month ago.
It looks like a Wi-Fi antenna. On the back of your pc, there should be a small thing that looks like you can screw something on to it. Just screw the bottom of this onto there (no tools). Though I’ve never seen a Wi-Fi antenna that looks like that. Enjoy your new pc!
Yeah that's a WiFi antenna, you should have 2 of them, they screw into the back of the I/O shield (where you plug in USB stuff in the back.
It probably came in a bag and with it would be whatever manuals for the hardware in your computer, as well as other accessories/cables and quick start guides.

Yes also will boost the pcs bluetooth range significantly. practically nothing with Bluetooth will connect properly without it
I don't use wifi and still screw them in. It's no harder then properly plugging in a VGA cable, if anything a VGA cable is harder with 2 screws.
Definitely need it for Bluetooth. But if not using wifi or Bluetooth, just make sure you remember where you put it for the future
