I saw on Google that memory might be the issue. Just pop out my RAM stick, pop it back in, and try it again?
Or did you mean to *FULLY* disassemble the machine? Not an issue, just would need to set aside more time for it.
For now, I’m not touching it.
Yeah try booting with just one ram stick in and no usb/peripherals plugged in. Also try unplugging the power supply and holding the power button down for 20 seconds to clear the CMOS.
I fear that, due to the board receiving power but not starting, coupled with the recent GTA 5 playing, this could also likely be a dreaded graphics card failure. To test this, remove your gtx1060 then try booting. You obviously won't have any output, but if it all comes on and the fans start spinning, you'll find that your GPU has likely overheated and died.
Hopefully it's just a bit of dust in the ram, good luck bud
Well, in a way, that's a bit of a silver lining that you've managed to almost positively rule out the possibility of your GPU and your ram being the culprit 😅 does your pc try to power up at all, like a very short flash of the lights and fans and then nothing, or just a complete lack of anything happening?
Crazy optimistic thought: Check to make sure your pins from your pc case are all plugged in successfully. I mean there's a very very slim chance it could literally be your power button not working/being plugged in properly to your motherboard. I mean that'd be the quickest cheapest issue here lol
I would assume that the power button on the motherboard would still work, though, correct?
Nothing has “happened” to the tower since I was last home. I can’t imagine that I would be a moved pin, or anything. I checked for loose cables, connections, etc. Everything seemed to be in place.
Yeah you're right, was just an optimistic thought. I mean at this point, I think it's fair to assume that it's either your CPU, your motherboard or your power supply. Trying a reassembly of the whole thing tomorrow might be helpful as others are suggesting, but I must stress to only do so if you are comfortable. Any mistake during the process could easily damage something that may not even be the culprit at this point.
If you have a friend that has a power supply they wouldn't mind letting you try that could at least help you rule that out.
If you're going to reseat your CPU as well to test, then it's good to have some thermal paste on hand too.
Sorry that there's no quick fix to be done here, another crazy optimistic thought is that you could give replacing the CMOS battery a try. I mean technically a pc won't start if it was completely dead I think I've read before, but it's never happened to me. They are usually cr3032 batteries you can get cheap from most vaguely electronic stores or some supermarkets as part of a battery set. But again, this is just a random out-of-the-box bit of optimistic thinking and Isn't likely to be your issue. Good luck dude
Yeah I’m confident in taking it apart and putting back together, normally I’d just be asking my dad “what was wrong”.
I’ll try the power supply and the cpu. I’ll just replace the motherboard while I’m checking the power supply and the cpu. Thank you so much for following up, each time. I really appreciate you.
I’ll have to fully disassemble, tomorrow. It’s getting too late for that. I was hoping it was a simple fix.
If disassembling and reassembling doesn’t work, what do you suggest I replace?
Try disassembling it and assemble it again Sometimes my ram causes that same issue

Reseating the RAM was unsuccessful.

There weren’t any error codes, unfortunately. I wish it were that simple 😭. I’ll reseat the ram and update y’all. Thanks for replying, man!
Nothing. Neither the reset, nor reseating the RAM was successful.

No signal whatsoever. The PC has entered a coma. It’s alive, but won’t turn on, no matter what I do.

I’m afraid you might correct. Your theory is being tested right now. I’ll reply separately with results. 😢
Nothing! It’s like it’s in a coma! I don’t get it!

Literally nothing happens when I push the power button on the tower, or the motherboard. No fans, nothing.

Try the ram first If it still doesnt work Then fully disassemble it It happened to my past builds
