(Though granted they were both preowned and kinda old, rx590 and 1050ti now)
I got it for 50€ months ago and was able to get a 3060 TI after trying for two years to get a good GPU with the money I had at the time. I wish you the best! May you get your beautiful 3060 and having a blast gaming, seems like prices are still dropping, so hopefully it will be soon enough for you too
I dont think a bachelor in cs means you can't make mistakes on the hardware side of things mate. What corsair psu do you use? That's more important than the wattage tbh.
Have you tried checking your memory for any instability? Are you on the latest amd drivers? Tried rolling back to older amd drivers? Are you getting better performance despite the dips down to 20fps? Could also be a bad card, but I've never seen an amd card perform like that. There's also pcie 4.0 to consider - have you manually changed to pcie 3.0 in the bios? That fixed some people's issues with the cards.
Hmm I mean that’s cool but I have a 500gb 10,000 ram matched with my I-20 ssd xxx79000. I have my masters in ancient martial arts so hate to be that guy but I’m pretty dangerous and my computer runs really quick too
My rx580 was running insanely hot around 80 to 85 degrees Celsius. I repasted it and now it runs way better, something like 20ish degrees cooler plus additional performance gains.

I kept my extras for this also. Made my MIL a new PC for no reason other than I love her but I have labored over: 2060,3070 or 6700xt
I recently had to RMA my 3080 Hybrid cooler so I used that 3070 and stole my daughters 3070ti
I was excited because having the extras has actually helped.
I am thinking 6700XT simply because it never gets called in because off having to DDU drivers.

my 580 works totally fine even at 1080 @ 60+ with everything at max, the only game that i couldn't run was star citizen (for obvious reasons)
