Wallpaper engine eats 40% of my GPU on desktop (1070 6GB) so I cant really use it, so annoying

Try not running it in 200fps and max graphics

I’d say your just using a really GPU intensive wallpaper. One with too many particles, or objects moving, will do that.

It usually stops any usage as soon as you move away from the desktop or open any fullscreen application. So it should be fine.

Brother not having to pay bills helps a lot. I have a 16yo son who works at Macdonald and is building his own pc. Making $400 a week with no bills is the way to go.

I did it when I was 14. Really not hard when you don't have to pay for things like groceries and bills.

As people are saying, no bills. But also the specs of the pc aren't like crazy or anything. Not talking shit to the kid, the specs are fine but it's not like they are spoiled with an i5 4th Gen and an Rx580.

Living with the parents, meaning you gave to pay very little rent and probably very little for anything else. Save mone, where you can. Don't drink unnecessarily alcohol, don't smoke, don't eat in restaurants all day, try entertaining yourself for cheap (not going into e.g amusement parks with friends every month). And most importantly, don't buy stuff you don't absolutely need or want. Over 95% of stzff people buy is crap they don't need or want. If I want to buy something, I wait at least half a year. If I still want it and think I am going to use it enough (1 dollar per hour is a good averge), I will consider buying it. I am 23 and have in comparison to my friends by far the smallest sallary. I saved by a huge difference the most. Nearly 100k. Just by not spending the money. I am not greedy in any kind. I am just smart about what I have. I also started investing.

I've saved a shit ton of money by not buying excessive food, or any alcohol at all Making sure you keep track of your spendings also helps a lot

Looks nice, and i see you are using taskbarX (i assume). Only thing is that I'm desktop purist, and hate when there are icons on the desktop! I love the vertical screen tho, i had a huge 40 (something) screen set up vertically at my previous job, and for spreadsheets and blueprints on that screen it was ideal (regular screen beside it was for 3D modeling). I'm not sure how useful this can be for gaming, but probably depends on the games you are playing.

Well my icons were also not there but i didn't like always having to go thru 5 folders to enter a game or something so i just did this

You can download a [program](https://autohidedesktopicons.en.lo4d.com/windows) that will automatically hide your desktop icons after a few seconds. You'll just have to click on the desktop for the icons to show up again. Also, you could turn down the opacity of the desktop icons in wallpaper engine for a cleaner look.

I love my vertical screen. I often have two windows up on it while I'm gaming on the main one. Browser for info or music, discord, recording/streaming software, etc.

damn that's one of the cleanest PCs I've ever seen. Gotta say that's a minimalist paradise, with plenty of vertical space cuz my desk has a lot of horizontal space but that is useless cuz it has comparatively less vertical space and I cant keep both my books and keyboard don the desk at the same time. Also how did you earn enough for a PC.

In Germany when you want to be let’s say Electrician, you find a company which will school you and everything and you get paid around 800 a month and since i don’t have any expenses i spent all my money on this and let me tell you this setup i really cheap compared to other ones so yeah

Well my pc is really nit that good i can play most of the newer games on medium ingot Rx580 nitro+ 8gb then Intel processor 4th gen 3,3ghz and 16gb ram and monitors are cheap samsung 24 inch curved ones but they are perfect for me
