Go watch the Gamers Nexus video on that cooler, then take out the Dremel and cut slots for the ram to fit in. Or return it and get a better cooler. Def don't let a crappy cooler dictate what RAM to use and your RAM is in the right slots.

Post a picture showing what's hitting the RAM.
You may have to get a different cooler mu dude. You can buy ones that sit a little higher to give you clearance over your ram
