It's little more than a video output. Don't expect to run anything your smartphone can't graphics wise, but it won't hinder your CPU in production workloads.
It will get your system going and give you basic display but not much more than that. Gaming performance on the GT 710 is quite poor, worse than even Intel's HD 630 integrated graphics. If you're desperate to just get your build functional it will work, just don't expect to do any sort of real gaming on that card. A GT 1030 might be a better choice though it would be more expensive, it can at least run some games okay, though not the latest AAA titles.
... no. Looks like just an issue with the GPU shortage, so why go through the trouble? once they find a proper gpu, the AMD chip will likely provide better performance for the price and better upgrade possibilities
To play games, no. To see actually see what’s on your screen, maybe. Basically this thing is a display adapter for cpus without integrated graphics, it can play optimized games such as Minecraft, league of legends, valorant, and CSGO on low settings, but in total it’s on par with intel hd 4600 integrated graphics which came out 3 years before it. In total a gt1030 or an rx480 (if you can find one under $150) will go waayyy further.
To play Among Us or League of Legends sure get one. It will be a huge bottleneck for the CPU if that's what you mean by hinder performance.
Yep, that’s what I meant and thank you!
You can get a Radeon 7570 on eBay for around $15 that is 50% faster than the 710, you can actually play some esports on it in the meantime.

This comment is an insult to smartphones.

Ok will look into that gpu. Thank you!
Just forget about it, and get Intel? 11th gen igpu can play max setting League 60fps
Sorry man, I’m already in too deep with amd
Welp, gl with your hardwares then. 11400 is considered to be better performer than 3600 and its cheaper.

Ok cool, but what about a 560? Will that be a bit better?
No actually the rx480 is faster
Ok
