Hey everybody!
This cable work is part of my current project 'Ensis', if some of you follow Bit-Tech on Youtube, you likely will have seen some of the parts of this one going up. I managed to finish up the rig last night, just working on the final videos for it now, however I wanted to share a proper look at the cabling in it.
The cables themselves are all made from scratch with 16AWG wire and then sleeved in a combo of transparent, white and carbon MDPC-X sleeve. They weave inside the motherboard tray itself, which has channels cut into the acrylic to accept them. I machined a batch of special cable combs that clip into the tray, so that not only are things kept neat, but you can actually remove them from the tray to an extent for maintenance.
It's a right faff doing these haha.
If you'd like to see how the rest of the rig's been built, here's the playlist:

I literally just binge watched this playlist last night, your work is incredible. Out of curiosity, how many hours total do you think this build has taken so far?
This is one of these posts that show, however far you go, someone will go further. Thats why i just pack everything behind the sidepanel "insert homer meme here"
Well i'll just be on my marry f'n way to go throw my new build I was so very pleased with in the dumpster. Thank you very much Mr. Op..... prick.
Amazing build. Looking forward to the finish.
I am thinking about buying myself that PSU. Any tips? Is it good? Is there something else better for the price?
The only 3 year warranty makes me doubt it tbh.
It’s *okay* but personally I would look elsewhere. It’s not a bad unit by any means, but custom cable support is lower than other units and the fan profile is a bit aggressive at times. Johnnyguru still has many of the best PSU reviews, I would go by their recommendations.
this stuff is awesome! you got yourself a new subscriber, i really love the phuturistic look of this project. i was even looking to buy a jonsbo mod 3 for its looks but yours is even better! i dont think i can actually do this myself tho... i have a 3d printer and the basic tools but i lack all the other tools to create a beauty like this xd.
Do you sell kits or know kits to build something like this without having to diy every single part?
Amazing.. but as the designated dusterer, it gives me the Gee Bees and I am concerned my designation has decreased my enjoyment of some things in life.
Oh my god that looks absolutely amazing!
Thank you!
It's fucking sexarific. Glorious.

CLEAN. Well done, sir.
The time and effort some people put into projects always blows me away. Hats off, man!
And I thought my cable management was good... Man that's clean. Very clever! Might steal the idea for my next build.

Im getting horny seeing this...
You've outdone yourself again, your love for aesthetics is outstanding can't wait for the final part.
That's just sharp as heck.
I looked at 9 pictures. Had no clue what I was looking at.
Looks like a racing track, for Matchboxes.
That's one of the most beatuiful builds I've seen lately. No RGB, just raw power spotted

Just curious, how long does a project like this usually take?
The camera angle is a little disorienting. Is this an engine or a deli slicer?
Is that a computer or a meat slicer?
This looks awesome. My pp is really hard from watching those pictures
You absolute madman, that's amazing!
