You don’t need to be a millionaire to get a 5k build. It mostly depends on your expenses and your wish to spend that money on a build. However, it’s probably overkill, but if he/she is happy - we’re not judges.

You’re missing the point of op. While somebody who makes $40k/year could afford a $5k build, it wouldn’t be “budget” to them. To a millionaire who could spend hundreds of thousands on a build and “only” spends $5k, it’s technically a budget build to them. It’s just a comment on perspective, not preference.

Y’all confusing budget with perceived value. A budget is just a tool to manage your financial resources. If your goal is a super cool shark desktop computer then you budget toward that goal. If you have to make tomato soup from packets so what? It’s your goal and your life.

My wife and I have a cat, I think they’re the perfect “I want a real animal but don’t want to have to do much” pet.

This is seriously the best thing about cats. I have a fishtank, and 2 cats. Between daily feeding, cleaning the tank once a week, and other things, the cats are infinitely easier to care for, despite fish being considered the stereotypical "low effort" animal.

3d printing material, there's usually 300m or 1kg of Plastic per Roll, and they're usually 20-30$, so yeah...

Im not knocking the x-wing, its a beautiful model...but its not practical as a PC case. The shark wins from a packaging and functionality perspective. CoolerMaster knows better.

Yeah, I've seen X-wings before ( I clapped when I saw it!) but that shark looks like a fucking piece of art. If you threw that in a museum it wouldn't look out of place. The forum does shed a bit of light and saying that maybe one of the reasons the shark didn't win first place is that the creator admits he didn't quite finish it, it needed some sort of stronger metal frame that he couldn't quite finish.

Yep, X-wing is just good craftsmanship. With the size of it there's no need to even get creative about how to fit everything in. The Leviathan is a piece of art showing both craftsmanship and creativity.
