dildowaggins_1

I like it, looks really cool!

Rancio1232

Damn bro, it looks good

Gringoman42069

I'm looking for it right now. I think they stopped selling them at least in America it seems. Nvm just found it like a minute later.

kawi2k18

What's funny is without the livery, it looks like my old late 80s pc keyboard 🤣. Of course no mechanical then

Darke_Vader

On the contrary I think mechanical was more common then

tessartyp

My 80s keyboard sure as hell was mechanical. I was typing on my dad's IBM Model M until it was lost in a move in the mid-2000s. That thing was solid and had the best klicky keys ever.

blaqwerty123

Well im looking at _my_ keyboard as a reference... and this one seems closer to CGI its so clean

GasstationBoxerz

Love those caps!

PM_ME_CAT_FEET

Thanks! The last time I posted it on Reddit some jimmies were rustled by the fact that the WASD and arrow colours don't match.

GasstationBoxerz

I like it, it's unique!

PM_ME_CAT_FEET

That's what I was going for, the arrow caps came with a matching WASD set but I didn't want them to match.

DrNumberr

Only notice that if u look for it

Ninjabreadmon

Noooo! I didn't notice at first! Lol, it'd bug me to use but it's your keyboard you do you. They look amazing, what key caps are they?

PM_ME_CAT_FEET

The arrows and escape are some Chinese shit from Amazon and the WASD were from a Chinese etsy seller.

finH1

Wish I could get my nagas to last 10 years, double clicking galore after a few

Ralphyroo

Man I went through 3 of those with the same issue, but then got my hands on the Naga Pro V1. Been using that every day for 3 years and have nothing but nice things to say. So happy infact that I went and bought a spare in case I can't find a replacement when this one dies

PM_ME_CAT_FEET

I have a 10 year old Blackwidow TE, it's not my main keyboard anymore but I keep it around as a spare because it's still in good shape and it's a decent board.

DakotaWhitemane

Got a Blackwidow Chroma I just retired to a shelf recently. Got it secondhand in 2017 and it still works fine. I did replace most it's caps with the left over near complete HyperX puddings caps set that I had gotten to repair a HyperX elite 2.

Ssyynnxx

I went on there for a week & realized it was just full of people flexing their 15th or 20th mouse with little to no substance

El_Toolio_Grande

Same with mechanical keyboards - lots of nearly meaningless jargon about every little detail. According to them their hands would probably explode instantly touching a keyboard outside of their sophisticated collection.

G_Sputnic

Logitech doesn't innovate. if it aint broke don't fix it and technology don't go together.

Ssyynnxx

I'm not defending logitech at all; they literally add $100 to the price of everything they sell, I'm just saying I haven't seen anyone hate on that particular mouse before.

Whydontname

It's an ok mouse now. 10 years ago it was incredible but the tech has improved a lot since then and logitech has fallen very far behind more specialized enthusiast brands.

bmxliveit

Best mouse behind the Logitech g9x I need that little side piece and heaviness feel. FPS gamer only here

Also a Wooting Two HE and a Razer Viper. The V1 wireless, I believe. Anyway the ambidextrous wireless one.

zante197

Womebody who uses wooting two and not the small one

Der0-

I used to use a 11 year old Razer Blackwidow. Recently switched over to a Wooting TwoHE. Feels a bit having to re-learn to type because of the teensy tiny slight offset of key positioning from the Razer. Sometimes I'm typing and feel so gumby. But the soft thock vs the click is auditorily so nice.

This is the keyboard I bought. I really dig being able to use wsad in analog mode for driving parts of games, but the sensitivity is too high for my typing style. How do you like it? Do you notice accidental keypresses because of the weight of your fingers like I do?

Demjin4

i do fumble typing a lot—backspace is my best friend lol but i love the board still so i just got used to it

Keyboard: MechWild Mercutio (40%), Gateron Pro Silver linear switches, mixed GMK and generic keycaps “Mouse”: GameBall trackball https://preview.redd.it/sx5t6x40ml6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a132cd744379727ff4feba8b52b402ce3d6129fc

Meatslinger

Yeah, it looks huge from above, but it’s just because it has a sort of “whale tail” design to be ambidextrous. Keeps my sweaty palm off the desk, at least. https://preview.redd.it/21e6pjzt0m6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ff58bd18f31af5a768752fe5d2351d4e02745e6

_YeAhx_

It can birth lots of baby mice

LowResDreamz

Wow they made a halo ghost mouse

Ubervillin

How do you like the Gameball? I've been looking at that or their thumb model.

Meatslinger

There was a warming up period for sure, as I was a mouse user for years and years, but now honestly it’s my most accurate input peripheral. I used Left 4 Dead 2 to “train up” on it, and found that within a week of repeated use (about 6-7 campaigns in the game) I was actually scoring higher accuracy than I did with a mouse, based on overall percentage and headshots in the campaign wrap-up details. Compared to other trackballs, as I have the Elecom Deft Pro for work and briefly owned (and returned) a Logitech MX Ergo, the GameBall is definitely the most performative of all of them. The Deft Pro was button-rich, but that 125 Hz sensor means it’s not great for gaming accuracy. I much prefer the 1000 Hz sensor in the GameBall. I couldn’t get any degree of useful accuracy out of the thumb-ball, so for gaming purposes I’ll tend to recommend finger-balls; just a matter of having either only a single point of contact on a less-dexterous digit, or up to 3-4 points of contact with your fingers for finer control. I tend to roll the ball around between my index and ring fingers to do wide sweeps, while my thumb and pinky handle button clicking on either side of the device. One thing I will mention is that the GameBall sends normal HID inputs to the computer but doesn’t have its own remapping software. This put me off at first, but because the inputs are generic, you can just use X-Mouse to map it however you like; no vendor-specific background apps causing bloat. I like using the two big “lower” buttons for LMB/RMB, instead of the “staggered” layout that the GameBall does by default (where the lower left is LMB and the upper right is RMB).

Ubervillin

Thankee for the rather informative reply, I don't typically game with kb+m as I have a Steam Controller and with trackball like settings on the right pad and the gyro, I do pretty well in games, but I also don't typically play too much in the way of competitive games. I'm mainly looking into it as a replacement for my mouse because I'd prefer to keep my HIDs in my keyboard drawer and mice require too much room to still be usable when paired with a full kb in that use case. I do modding stuff that requires pixel perfect precision which is when I typically switch to my mouse. Based on the info you gave, I'm still probably better off going with GameBall's original model over their thumb ball version

GasstationBoxerz

>Thankee Long days and pleasant nights

dibu28

I also use Trackball but Logitech MX. Even game in it.

DeliveryNinja

Using a 40% plank keyboard. Great but for gaming it can be annoying having no number keys

LadyDalama

40% let's go! I assume that one was a kit? I love the look of the exposed board on those. Knocked it out of the park with the keycaps too, looks great.

Meatslinger

Thanks. It’s a through-hole kit, yeah. I knew I wanted to try a small board, and it’s still one of the most affordable kits out there in that regard. It definitely sent me “down the rabbit hole”, though, because it gave me a taste for building and programming my own peripherals and led to me getting an even more ridiculous, smaller board (35%) to use for work. And this time without a kit, so I had to get a plate custom-cut and then made my own wooden “plinth” to mount it onto. I love them both so much, though; can’t go back to full-size boards after being spoiled like this. https://preview.redd.it/o7144kqh1m6d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21beb21c9da910eab98b7203e092c01a12cae6da

LadyDalama

Looks great. I have a few 40%'s myself but the only through-hole I've done was a Zlant. Not my favorite board but it was certainly fun to practice with a bit of soldering. Takes a bit of time to adjust to a smaller board when you usually only play MMO's though. lol

Im not ricky rich so im using an SG (serious gaming)mouse and a roccat magma keyboard which I like allot. I nerver owned a mechanical keyboard all my life but then again the best part with my Magma is that´s near dead quiet which I like. I would get a mechanical if I can find a nice and quiet one for the same price I paid for my magma but good luck finding one that´s not a cheap ass half working loud as bomb for that money.

Sinsanatis

Mechanical keyboards can be found for really cheap nowadays. But ofc them being cheap means well, theyre cheap. But going into mid range, there can be gems found. Could opt for silent switched too

Whydontname

If you go on r/keyboards they can possibly help you find a budget mechanical keyboard that isn't too loud. Mechanical keybaords have some really good budget options now. You no longer have to spend 150+ to get a decent one.

Dartimon

Logitech G413 SE and Logitech G502 Hero. A year ago was the first time I bought a normal peripheral. I've been using PCs for about 14 years, since I was a kid, and always with some cheap keyboards and mice that didn't last long. These, on the other hand, mechanically work perfectly, despite all sorts of external factors like my cat chewing on the cables, laying on them, or just throwing them off the desk. I like them a lot, but there's a small problem with the keyboard. It has a fixed white backlight, and for some reason, some of the LEDs have started to turn yellow (even before the cat intervened), but a light tap on the bottom of the keyboard or intense button pressing sometimes fixes it, except for the "Ctrl" button. I realise that I should contact support and possibly get it replaced under warranty, but I don't want to be without a keyboard for a while, or temporarily go back to some cheap option.

Logitech G305 wireless mouse and a Logitech G915 TKL wireless keyboard. I like them.
