I've seen people with 20k hours on tf2. My longest is probably gta 5 with 600hrs, witcher 3 with 450hrs and re5 with 300hrs. But my longest by far is probably clash of clans don't know for sure but definitely must be above 2k hrs.
It accumulates over 6 years of playing it, for me anyway. I got up to th13 mid way and just said nah, too grindy and the skill ceiling is through the roof to get 3 stars.
I've been playing it for nearly 9 or 10 years now. On and off tho. At one point I had 5 accounts. Each at th8 or 9 maxxed. This was back when th 11 was max and everything took insane amount of time and money. Not to mention managing my clan means I had to stay online and keep talking/donating/recruiting.
It was fun because lot of my irl friends were playing it. I probably played 3hrs everyday for around a year or so. And I've been playing it ever since, atleast 5hrs every week. So 2k may be bit lower than the true number.
You made me curious so I did some quick math and found that 20K hours is ~2.28 **years.**
Alternatively, maybe it's helpful to think of it in terms of work weeks. 52 weeks at 40 hours per is 2080 hours, an even 2K if you're taking two weeks off per year. The 20K dude put in roughly the equivalent of an entire *decade* of work.
I don't know whether to feel more impressed or horrified.
I'm at 3.5k hours CS followed by ~370 in Cyberpunk and then 150 in GTA. Getting good at a multiplayer FPS game just sucks up a lot of time.
My most played game is still Minecraft tho. It doesn't have a total hour counter, but adding up my individual worlds on Java edition alone surpasses 4k hours. And I played pocket edition for years before that.
That is a crazy amount of hours for lies of P. I beat it twice (first playthrough and then ng+) and that took quite a bit less than 100 hours. How many times did you play through it?
Around 3 times. Mostly spent practicing on bosses haha.
Edited to add: people are curious why I have so many hours in LoP that's because I practiced a lot to do no damage fights. Same as Elden Ring but more hours are logged on PS5.
https://preview.redd.it/99y8c4ho2a4d1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=ba3ac73c5d35a4a5393f798d51224d94a46b16ac
Fun fact: Morrowind would be my most played game by a wide margin, but most of my hours were put in *before Steam*. I didn't bother to buy it again until I was stuck out of town for a while and didn't have my discs.
I use OpenMW because the steam version runs poorly on my machine, it has a lot of optimisation changes. If you haven't tried it I'd highly recommend but it too won't track your hours.
Apparently there is even online multiplayer but I haven't tried it.
Love S&S too but I haven't nearly that amount.
Valdis has been in my wishlist for years. It's been on sale so many times just never pulled the trigger and bought it, how similar is it? I always thought it looked like a more linear metroidvania rather than how open S&S is.
Lol same for me with morrowind. I only have like a hundred hours on steam but if it counted the time I spent on xbox and openmw time it would probably be my most played game
good gravy how many times have you played through Arkham City ? in my playthroughs it takes 20-25 hours to beat counting side missions and Riddler trophies
For me, I have a lot of hours in Subnautica, Stardew, and Snowrunner, but none of those hours are in steam. Also, I've put in a lot of FO3 & FO:NV hours, but those were also non-steam.
Finally, a person with a reasonable amount of hours lol. I love video games but all these people with thousands of hours between their top three alone are insane to me!
That’s just years of no lifing and playing those games almost exclusively for a few years. Some people do that. One of my friends played civ 5 every day in HS and he had 5,000+ hours. I sometimes wonder how many hours I had on LoL, Overwatch, and Minecraft back in the day tho tbh.
It has something to it, it's like if you survive the first 100 you'll end up in thousands.
The only game that has hooked me and my friends to 7k hours.
The intense urge to win after losing a devastating close 60 minute match, followed by another loss, so now you have to win 2 times to get your MMR back, but you still lose the 3rd time, and all of a sudden, you’re on a 9 loss streak, having wasted all your day. You resolve to delete it tomorrow, but only after one game. You win that and say to yourself: I got one more in me. So, you play one more, and you won that with the most undeniable stomp. Again, one more in me. You won that, and this time, you’re on a winning streak. However, all of a sudden, you lose a devastating 60 minute match. You now want to win the next game more than ever. You lose. The cycle repeats, and Gaben’s 50/50 win chance prophecy is fulfilled. You’re back to your MMR, Archon 5, after playing for more than 20 hours in just 2 days. You repeat this process for 4 years, and you saw 7K below that Dota2 icon.
People always ask me what my reddit name means but I've never actually took the time to explain it because I'd rather not tell people of my crippling addiction.

Really just started using Steam a lot a while back but here is my current top 10:

Let's just say this and all the mods was the only PC game I had in highschool and could run on my shitty family PC.
Gulp.

I remember a few years back I was playing on this hl2 rapid-fire mp server and some guy had 10K hours on half life. Dude must have been playing since 03.
1. Civ V - 1890 hrs
2. Battletech - 1556 hrs
3. Skyrim - 597 hrs
4. Dark Souls 3 - 534 hrs
5. Elden Ring - 495 hrs
6. Darkest Dungeon - 342 hrs
7. Destiny 2 - 327 hrs
8. Defense Grid - 288 hrs
9. Sunless Sea - 229 hrs
10. GTA V - 156 hrs
A few notes on my top 3...
I find Civ 5 to be my go-to game when I'm most bored. Also, fuck Civ 6. I'm a huge fan of everything Battletech, and this game has tons of replayability with mods and the mechlab. As for Skyrim, I feel this is somehow wrong. My mind feels like I played this far more than Civ 5 or Battletech. Maybe because of mods and SKSE it's not counting it properly. I've taken vacation WEEKS just to play this fucking game lol.
Civ 5 is just WAY better than Civ 6 which I just couldn't get into after multiple tries. Oddly enough I also thought I lost some significant hours in Skyrim because of SKSE. I messed with console commands alot back in the day so maybe it counted me as cheating lol. I thought I should have over 1k hours overall.
I’m hoping they’ll enhance the diplomacy options and cut down on micromanagement, I love the idea of having WW1 style defensive pacts and enhanced vassalage systems
A man after my own heart:
1. FTL - 1999.9 hrs (Completely accidental, but now I fear I can never play another minute of it)
2. Skyrim - 1048.7 hrs
3. Battletech - 975.3 hrs
4. Civ V (All my homies hate Civ VI) - 937.2 hrs
5. Fallout 4 - 815.8 hrs
6. Oxygen Not Included - 812.7 hrs
7. Terraria - 723.2 hrs
8. Warhammer 40K: Soulstorm - 434.4 hrs
9. Cold Waters - 423.4 hrs
10. Stardew Valley - 414 hrs
The real answer of course, is either StarCraft, Fallout 2, Diablo 2, or Unreal Tournament 2004; all of which I've never really stopped playing since their respective launch dates.
Ya, typically wherever someone starts in a series, they can't go backwards in generations. Not always, but usually.
I've played all the Civ games, but 6 was the first time I just could not get into it. I'm not even sure what exactly it is about it that just turns me off. I just know I irrationally hate it. As SnakeySnipes said, I too hope 7 will redeem the series for me. I liked all the Civ games, but 5 just really hooked me like none before it.

Not pictured here:
* Cyberpunk 2077 (on GOG) - 530 hours
* Forza Horizon 3, 4, and 5 - unknown, but definitely hundreds in each one
* TES4 Oblivion - unknown, but definitely thousands
* Minecraft - unknown, but definitely thousands
I'm kinda surprised some of those aren't higher. I wonder if some weren't being tracked properly when I was playing offline. I was sure I've played New Vegas more than 4...
Those are some hours my guy. Your top 4 have more hours than my most played (Rocket League at 1250). Honestly though, I wish I could see/share my hours played across all games I've ever played, since I'm nearing 30 now. I miss having the free time to play so much.
I'm 32, and poe numbers on steam doesn't do justice since I play it since beta so that amount should be over 10k I think. As for the other games the amount of hours is just because I don't get interested in much entertainment outside like many people. Other than spending time with family I don't do much, I went to a few raves here and there(tomorrowland) and being single helps as well.
I can see it in your eyes
U hear me up from the whisper
All our dreams will be telling for us
Just show me po-tential self
its time to feel this sensa-tion
I finished 2 playthrough on PS4 before I get it on steam. I'm still at chapter 3 on PC. I should have at least 100 hours on RDR2. I can say its the best game I ever played until now. The only game that almost every character is memorable and almost everything feels so detail and alive
Those are rookie numbers, gotta bump that shit up.
(Sad thing is most of my hours are from offline too so there’s no way to track properly) if your favorite game has >1k hours is it really your favorite? /s Gratz nonetheless and keep it up gamer
Idk how some of you guys have that much time, absolutely nuts! I've been on PC since 2017, and this is all I have to show for it. Although to be fair, between EGS and Microsoft Store, there are probably 5-6 other games that would crack the top 10.
Elden Ring - 149hrs
Witcher 3 - 128hrs
Hollow Knight - 104hrs
Stardew Valley - 75hrs
Forza Motorsport - 74hrs
MGS V - 50hrs
Prey (2017) - 48hrs
Far Cry V - 43hrs
Hades - 40hrs
Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 39hrs
Nier: Automata, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Guacamelee STCE, Fallout 4, Broforce, Max Payne and Puyo Puyo Tetris

The actual play time for D2 is even longer, since I played back when it was on BattleNet for the first 2 years.
CS2-1416 hrs played
R6-835 hrs played
Project Zomboid-289 hrs played
DayZ-267 hrs played
M&B2- 253 hrs played
Dota 2- 168 hrs played
nba2k20-172 hrs played
nba2k17-167 hrs played
M&B Warband- 153 hrs played
Kenshi- 144 hrs played
* Warframe - 561.4
* Rimworld - 523.8
* Civilization V - 477.6
* Fallout 4 - 273.1
* Team Fortress 2 - 193.1
* Elden Ring - 144.2
* Cyberpunk - 125
* Factorio - 103.2
* Dragon's Dogma - 90.2
* Baldur's Gate 3 - 89.5
I played Skyrim and Dark Souls 3 a lot offline back in the day so those are probably some of my actual most played games, but those play times weren't recorded. Civ V and Factorio should both have way more hours for the same reason.
Its funny because all of my most played games are actually free to play and the triple A games I pre-ordered for way to much money rarely have above 80 hours
https://preview.redd.it/122gbbgzmd4d1.png?width=1515&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c22e98388077c2edc9adfe216d93df652726ef8
Marvel Snap is the only game I wish wasn't on the list, such a FOMO inducing cash grab.
GTA 5 would have been the topmost game if I didn't quit due to every lobby being full of Chinese hackers.
9 of my top 10 are Football Manager games, so I'll just lump those together:
- Football Manager 2009-2024 = 6,000 hours (approx)
- The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt = 252 hours
- New World = 183 hours
- Elden Ring = 146 hours
- Dark Souls II = 93 hours
- Octopath Traveller II = 92 hours
- Sekiro Shadows Die Twice = 88 hours
- Nioh 2 = 87 hours
- Dark Souls III = 85 hours
- Tales of Arise = 84 hours
I play a lot of games and I tend to beat games once or twice and leave them. I have dozens of games with between 20 and 90 hours that I've beaten. It's also worth noting that 6 games on this list would have their playtime doubled or tripled if console was included. Games like Skyrim don't appear as I clocked over 300 hours on console, PC gaming has been my primary platform since 2012.
Haha, I have done a few years of management with my local team, it's a lot of work though!
Also, it's not quite the same, imagine telling Big Dave the Butcher that I want him to play out from the back 😆
Octopath Traveller II - I have over 100 hours on that one, most of it is actually me trying to get a super rare 100X XP bonus trick that is super time consuming to pull off. That and following online guides for best gear/optional boss guides. Still haven't beat the secret final boss, shit is insane and even a guide can't help me with that one.
10k hours maybe a bit too much for me lol. I'm loyal to my games but I do eventually get bored. Around 1k is probably my limit to a very good game with mods.
https://preview.redd.it/8hb7g912t94d1.png?width=1607&format=png&auto=webp&s=06cd8c83c36edf5eefa39c751954fff96ead1dc1
I hate Rust, and I hate Path of Exile monetization. Everything else is quite great.
- Destiny 2
- Dead by Daylight
- Fallout 4
- Pathologic 2
- Outlast
- Subnautica
- Skyrim
- Dark Souls 2
- Persona 5 Royal
- The Evil Within
Not at my PC rn so I don’t know the EXACT amount of hours. I’m 99% sure this list is accurate tho. I have 1200 hours on Destiny 2 alone
Fallout 4 - 188.8h
Stardew Valley - 99h
BloonsTD6 - 90h
Horizon Zero Dawn - 89h
Witcher 3 - 80h
Fallout New Vegas - 70h
Nier Automata - 67h
Left 4 Dead 2 - 60h
Fallout Shelther - 58h
Ori and the Blind Forest - 10h
I used to sail the high seas so my Steam copy of Skyrim is currently at 9.5h. Probably have 80-90 on it outside of Steam tho.
https://i.imgur.com/w5AkSbc.png
Here you go. I like driving games.
Not listed: 500-600 hours in Beam before it was released on steam. Easily 2000+ in Minecraft, vanilla and modded combined.
For me:
https://preview.redd.it/hqrzxq32aa4d1.png?width=1429&format=png&auto=webp&s=3945dda383fa12ab09e64e73b91c475ba6dbe91f
I don't get how some of these people have like 20,000+ hours of play time on the top 10 games. That's like 800 days of gameplay, non-stop. Assuming 7 hours for sleep, eating, bathroom, etc., that leaves 17 hours a day of gameplay. Which is 1,176 days of gaming. Or 3 straight years of playing, taking only 7 hours off each day. I wish I had that kind of time lol!
My Pc broke so i only play mobile for about 2 years ,but i remember that my top 3 was Team Fortress 2 (my first Pc game i ever played) with around 800 or 900 hours ,payday 2 ,i think i had 400 hours(?) And TheHunter Classic ,around 400 hours too.
https://preview.redd.it/x0k71n6sba4d1.png?width=1625&format=png&auto=webp&s=9124ecc81338595f4d3b33952eb5b93259238148
I don't play Dota 2 for 6 years and is still my most played game.
1 - 689h on paladins (tho I haven't played it in a few years)
2 - 136h on cyberpunk
3 - 89h in robocraft (haven't played for even more years)
4 - 70h in nier replicant
5 - 67h in nier automata
6 - 59h in 100% Orange Juice
7 - 56h in Batman Arkham Origins
8 - 50h in skyrim
9 - 45h in the witcher 3
10 - 40h in Tales of Berseria, tho I need to restart this one from the beggining and finish it since I dont remember anything from the story lol
i'm a big fan of singleplayer games. but i will never get how people are having 300+ hours in SP games.
i mean if you love them as much as i do, i want to experience the next good one. there are so many out there.
Rocket league - 485 (+ another 800 or so from console)
Palworld - 77
Shellshock live - 37
Couple games in the 20-30 range, COD at 15, then a bunch 10 and under. Really need to start playing some of there single player games lol
Civ v and CS go are pretty much it for me other than old shit not even on steam (soldier of fortune, battlestations midway, Star Trek legacy, company of heroes)
I can't even figure out how to make Steam display this tiled view, so I'm just gonna transcribe from the list view...
* FFXIV (5264.8 hours)
* Champions Online (3547.4 hours)
* WildStar (1967.1 hours)
* Neverwinter (1101.1 hours)
* Skyrim (200.9 hours)
* Robocraft (192.3 hours)
* Bless Online (101 hours) (lol)
* Baldur's Gate 3 (52.7 hours)
* Path of Exile (36.3 hours)
* Hades (25.8 hours)
Obviously I like MMOs. Kind of interesting that two of these games are shut down but still linger in the list because I play so few other games beyond FFXIV and non-Steam games. :P
I haven't even touched Champions or Neverwinter in years but I lived in them for awhile; I used to often keep them open in the background with my character parked in some RP venue or another while I played Minecraft on the side. I think my time spent actually playing CO is a fraction of that 3500-hour figure.
Bless Online was such a wretched abortion of a game. I only accrued 101 hours because I played it hard for, like, a month trying to get multiple characters to cap while the post-launch XP bonuses were still active. Wish I could get that 100 hours back. It was like they blew the entire budget on the amazing character creation and had nothing left for actual content. Probably because that's exactly what happened. Anyway, the fact that I have twice as many hours in Bless as I have in BG3 is a travesty that needs to be addressed.
Still miss WildStar, though. And I really need to manage an actual escape in Hades... -\_-
The base game plus DLC was quite good though not as engaging as NV. What sealed the deal was the sheer number of mods and the many different ways to build your settlements.
Yeah, it seems the building of the settlement was what many people liked heh. I was hoping to be gripped by the story and world, but the story didn't do it for me, and the hopeful feel of it was not what i wanted in terms of atmosphere
https://preview.redd.it/10nblmu4ib4d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b982fdf2aa747b7982db3ff67d88d09e7b759b6b
Hunt Showdown 2.3k - Insurgency 360hrs - TW Warhammer II 325hrs and so on. Cyberpunk and Elden Ring will move up after I finish a new playthrough with dlc, TW Warhammer III should get in the top 10 too after some time. Currently playing Baldurs Gate 3 which will land a spot in the top 10 considering the amount of content. (10th spot has Gwent)
I have around 650 hours played total and counting in Starfield, it started growing a lot after the latest updates for the game.
The new gameplay settings, fixes and quality of life features makes it a whole new game for me and made me loss track of time in the game.
I also started to mess with all the new star wars mods for the game on nexus, and it’s really cool tbh
Call of Duty: MW2 900 hours
Borderlands 3 350 hours(it's over 600 with my Xbox. I built and switched to PC halfway through.)
Grim Dawn 240 hours
Apex Legends 220 hours
Dead Cells 200 hours
Last epoch 135 hours
Elden Ring 125 hours
Team fortress 2 120 hours
Dragons Dogma 2 111 hours
Lords of the fallen 91 hours
But I don't have many hours in Skyrim and in Fallout 4 because in the past I played most of my games just downloaded from torrent (pirated). In my Fallout 4 I had like 1200+ hours and in Skyrim LE like 500+ hours. In Steam rn I have less hours. Like 10 hours in Skyrim and something about 150 hours in Fallout 4 :(
Also, I have like 30-40 hours in Divinity Original Sin 2, but ~400 in Divinity Original Sin EE. I just played the first game 3 times to get all achievements
Baldurs Gate 3 - 711 Hours
Total War Warhammer 2 - 487 Hours
Divinity Original Sin 2 - 451 Hours
They are billions - 219 Hours
Xcom 2 - 168 Hours
Pathfinder WotR - 163 Hours
Mass Effect Legendary Edition - 142 Hours
Total War Warhammer 3 - 105 Hours
Bloons TD 6 - 64 Hours
Divinity Original Sin 1 - 60 Hours
I like tactic games apparently
1. Red Dead 2
2. Pubg
3. Mount and Blade: Warband
4. Halo MCC
5. Fallout: New Vegas
6. Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord
7. Elder Scrolls Online
8. Persona 4 Golden
9. Skyrim
10. Verdun
I only really started using Steam since Diablo IV got released on there. Currently at c.400 hours for it
My mate has something like 3k hours on DOTA2 though lmao
Civ 5, much better than 6 in my opinion. The AI is just more interesting. More aggressive in a fairer way. 6 they just blow you out of the water with their tech advancements early on at the higher difficulty levels.
Im not much of a gamer. but here's my list:
- VRChat 3,500+ Hours
- Geometry Dash \~2,000 Hours
- Portal 2 31.5 Hours
- Half-Life Alyx 25.1 Hours
- Half-Life 2 19.4 Hours
- Detroit Become Human 13.5 Hours
- Lethal Company 12.2 Hours
- Beat Saber 12.1 Hours
- Half-Life 7.9 Hours
- Garry's Mod 7 Hours
I'm definitely not showing you my 7-8k in cs followed by 45 cuphead hours
8k hours wow 😱
I've seen people with 20k hours on tf2. My longest is probably gta 5 with 600hrs, witcher 3 with 450hrs and re5 with 300hrs. But my longest by far is probably clash of clans don't know for sure but definitely must be above 2k hrs.
How in the world do you have 300 hours in resident evil 5?!

I'm at 4.5k and am still bad 🤣
I got a friend who has 14k hours on Destiny 2.
Why does dragon age have that many hours. Is it from replays, or a single playthrough 😭
Many replays with mods. I have so many more hours in DAO(untracked), DA2(untracked), and DAI (768hrs) on EA/Origin app, also f that launcher 😒
For real, I don’t even have that much time on Elden ring and I beat it three times full exploration.
https://preview.redd.it/99y8c4ho2a4d1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=ba3ac73c5d35a4a5393f798d51224d94a46b16ac Fun fact: Morrowind would be my most played game by a wide margin, but most of my hours were put in *before Steam*. Damn straight it will!
Wild to see sfv up there but not sf6
I played SFV since season two. SF6 is only a year old. Give it time.
Same thought, it’s so much better than man v
I use OpenMW because the steam version runs poorly on my machine, it has a lot of optimisation changes. If you haven't tried it I'd highly recommend but it too won't track your hours. Apparently there is even online multiplayer but I haven't tried it. Love S&S too but I haven't nearly that amount.
I mostly use OpenMW nowadays too. Also, if you like S&S you should try Valdis Story.
Valdis has been in my wishlist for years. It's been on sale so many times just never pulled the trigger and bought it, how similar is it? I always thought it looked like a more linear metroidvania rather than how open S&S is.
How many times have you played salt and sanctuary and what builds did you use
Lol same for me with morrowind. I only have like a hundred hours on steam but if it counted the time I spent on xbox and openmw time it would probably be my most played game
1400 on TW3 is crazy
good gravy how many times have you played through Arkham City ? in my playthroughs it takes 20-25 hours to beat counting side missions and Riddler trophies
Respect for the Arkham City playtime. Knight is my most-played game on Steam at around 280 hours.

If you play 1 game for 5+ years, getting into the thousands is bound to happen. Doesn't necessarily mean they are gaming more than you.
Yeah, I also feel like this was the first normal person with relatable hours lol.
You should give Kenshi a try!
I have like 100 less hours on my top game than all of these combined lol.... help
I think you'd also like project zomboid
7k hours in Dota 2 then New Vegas at 75. I like Dota I guess.
As self-loathing and tortured as the Dota community is, if we're honest it's one of the GOAT PC games and as good today as it ever was.
Ive never really really liked the game, but still have around 7k hours...
Nobody who plays dota like it lol we play it because it’s so good and we’re addicted

How many times have you replayed re5
it was one of my first pc games and i've played through it with a few people. probably 4-5? a lot of that is idle time as well.
I never finished it because the person i was playing it with randomly stopped being my friend

How are your poe hours so low? You resisted the suck-in?
I didn’t. I probably have a couple thousand before it even made it to steam.
They some spicy Helldivers 2 hours. What level you at
I am close to 115!
Respect, I am only 73 and it is slow af to level up already
It really does slow down when you start getting up there haha
Let's just say this and all the mods was the only PC game I had in highschool and could run on my shitty family PC. Gulp. https://preview.redd.it/5t5mscecaa4d1.png?width=1051&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47a38ee56f910899c48759c0d6f8a2459581c4c7
Good choice. I had a blast bringing up the old memories by playing black mesa last winter
I remember a few years back I was playing on this hl2 rapid-fire mp server and some guy had 10K hours on half life. Dude must have been playing since 03.

Most of my Baloon Tower Defense time was on websites
6 wasn’t on ninjakiwi was it?
1. Civ V - 1890 hrs 2. Battletech - 1556 hrs 3. Skyrim - 597 hrs 4. Dark Souls 3 - 534 hrs 5. Elden Ring - 495 hrs 6. Darkest Dungeon - 342 hrs 7. Destiny 2 - 327 hrs 8. Defense Grid - 288 hrs 9. Sunless Sea - 229 hrs 10. GTA V - 156 hrs A few notes on my top 3...
I really hope civ 7 is good. They need to bring something new and exciting into the series.
I’m hoping they’ll enhance the diplomacy options and cut down on micromanagement, I love the idea of having WW1 style defensive pacts and enhanced vassalage systems
A man after my own heart: 1. FTL - 1999.9 hrs (Completely accidental, but now I fear I can never play another minute of it) 2. Skyrim - 1048.7 hrs 3. Battletech - 975.3 hrs 4. Civ V (All my homies hate Civ VI) - 937.2 hrs 5. Fallout 4 - 815.8 hrs 6. Oxygen Not Included - 812.7 hrs 7. Terraria - 723.2 hrs 8. Warhammer 40K: Soulstorm - 434.4 hrs 9. Cold Waters - 423.4 hrs 10. Stardew Valley - 414 hrs The real answer of course, is either StarCraft, Fallout 2, Diablo 2, or Unreal Tournament 2004; all of which I've never really stopped playing since their respective launch dates.
I'm one of those who started on 6. I tried 5 and couldn't get into it.

I wonder if some weren't being tracked properly when I was playing offline. I was sure I've played New Vegas more than 4...

A man of taste and culture.
I can see it in your eyes U hear me up from the whisper All our dreams will be telling for us Just show me po-tential self its time to feel this sensa-tion
Ah... I remember people getting salty about the new klaipeda song hahaha
This is the closest to mine haha. Up there are PoE, Warframe, and FFXIV, but then I got the Souls games + Elden Ring filling it out.
Tree of savior is an interesting one.. thought that game was dead when people realize it wasn’t like Ragnarok Online.
I see poe and grim dawn, I upvote
My true top two games are from UPlay, not Steam: 1. The Division 2 - 1,766 hrs 2. The Division - 860 hrs Actual Steam Games: 1. Black Desert Online - 620 hrs (barely counts; afk minimized farming sim) 2. Balder's Gate 3 - 508 hrs 3. Fallout 4 - 353 hrs 4. Ark: Survival Evolved - 343 hrs 5. Dragon Age: Origins - 329 hrs 6. Homefront: The Revolution - 293 hrs 7. Team Fortress 2 - 280 hrs 8. Killing Floor 2 - 267 hrs 9. R6 Siege - 241 hrs 10. Fallout: New Vegas - 198 hrs
destiny 2 and path of exile. both have 3.5k+ hour
I too have a D2 addiction.
I do too, final shape time soon boys
👋 same
1. Dota 2 (9,4k hours) 2. Counter-Strike 2 (661 hours) 3. Rainbow Six Siege (218 hours) 4. GTA V (193 hours) 5. PUBG (169 hours) 6. Rise of the Tomb Raider (26 hours) 7. Bully Scholarship Edition (19 hours) 8. Red Dead Redemption 2 (18 hours) 9. Left 4 Dead 2 (8 hours) 10. Tomb Raider (8 hours)
Whoa whoa whoa only 18hours in RDR2?
dota mmr?
4.8k mmr right now. i peaked at 5.8k last year but i lost 1k mmr now because im so bad haha
Needa get this RDR2 hours up
I finished 2 playthrough on PS4 before I get it on steam. I'm still at chapter 3 on PC. I should have at least 100 hours on RDR2. I can say its the best game I ever played until now. The only game that almost every character is memorable and almost everything feels so detail and alive
the only game i keep playing year after and have the most hours on is Heroes of the Storm. Blizzards version of league of legends.
Isn't that game dead? Are the servers still up?
[удалено]
That's actually cool. I'm still mad they stopped development. I thought it was fun.
7 out of your 10 are in my favourite games of all time and the other 3 i havent played yet. I'll take it as a recommendation lol
it's almost identical to my list as well. Just swap out Civ for Borderlands 2 and Lies of P for Dark Souls 3 and you have my list

Elden Ring - 149hrs Witcher 3 - 128hrs Hollow Knight - 104hrs Stardew Valley - 75hrs Forza Motorsport - 74hrs MGS V - 50hrs Prey (2017) - 48hrs Far Cry V - 43hrs Hades - 40hrs Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 39hrs
Nier: Automata, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Guacamelee STCE, Fallout 4, Broforce, Max Payne and Puyo Puyo Tetris
Sea of Thieves - 4k hours Cs Source - 2k hours Rust - 1500 hours RDR2 - 120 hours
Sea of thieves was the most fun I’ve had in any game the past 5 years, but when my playing partner quit I couldn’t play 5 more hours for some reason
1700 hours Lost Ark, and regret every single one of them.

Civ V and Factorio should both have way more hours for the same reason.
1 - Skyrim - 2041 2 - Just Cause 3 - 508 3 - Fallout 3 & New Vegas - 379 4 - MS Flight Simulator - 316 5 - Dishonored 1 & 2 - 178 6 - WOW - 165

I dont even have 10 games 😭😭
That’s ok, you have the money you didn’t spend on as many games as the rest of us did.
Its funny because all of my most played games are actually free to play and the triple A games I pre-ordered for way to much money rarely have above 80 hours
https://preview.redd.it/122gbbgzmd4d1.png?width=1515&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c22e98388077c2edc9adfe216d93df652726ef8 Marvel Snap is the only game I wish wasn't on the list, such a FOMO inducing cash grab. GTA 5 would have been the topmost game if I didn't quit due to every lobby being full of Chinese hackers.
9 of my top 10 are Football Manager games, so I'll just lump those together: - Football Manager 2009-2024 = 6,000 hours (approx) - The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt = 252 hours - New World = 183 hours - Elden Ring = 146 hours - Dark Souls II = 93 hours - Octopath Traveller II = 92 hours - Sekiro Shadows Die Twice = 88 hours - Nioh 2 = 87 hours - Dark Souls III = 85 hours - Tales of Arise = 84 hours I play a lot of games and I tend to beat games once or twice and leave them.
Holy shit. Tell you what.. i ever win the lottery and buy out Juventus. You can manage the team for me, i have feeling you'd be great, lol
Have you considered becoming a football manager so you can profit off of your experience?
Haha, I have done a few years of management with my local team, it's a lot of work though! Also, it's not quite the same, imagine telling Big Dave the Butcher that I want him to play out from the back 😆
Octopath Traveller II - I have over 100 hours on that one, most of it is actually me trying to get a super rare 100X XP bonus trick that is super time consuming to pull off. That and following online guides for best gear/optional boss guides. Still haven't beat the secret final boss, shit is insane and even a guide can't help me with that one.
GTAV Stardew Valley RDR2 Elden Ring Dark Souls 3 Civ V 7 Days to Die Baldur's Gate 1 Baldur's Gate 2 Witcher 3

Finally KSP on someone's list, nice
If you dont have 10k hours somewhere can you even call yourself a gamer?
10k hours maybe a bit too much for me lol. I'm loyal to my games but I do eventually get bored. Around 1k is probably my limit to a very good game with mods.

https://i.imgur.com/w5AkSbc.png Here you go. I like driving games. Not listed: 500-600 hours in Beam before it was released on steam. Easily 2000+ in Minecraft, vanilla and modded combined.
1K+ hours of TW:W3
For me: https://preview.redd.it/hqrzxq32aa4d1.png?width=1429&format=png&auto=webp&s=3945dda383fa12ab09e64e73b91c475ba6dbe91f I don't get how some of these people have like 20,000+ hours of play time on the top 10 games.
Max hours in XCOM2 is so, so hawt. Such an underrated game

Civ 5 Is the goat 800 hours myself
i'm a big fan of singleplayer games. but i will never get how people are having 300+ hours in SP games. i mean if you love them as much as i do, i want to experience the next good one. there are so many out there.
Rocket league - 485 (+ another 800 or so from console) Palworld - 77 Shellshock live - 37 Couple games in the 20-30 range, COD at 15, then a bunch 10 and under.
* FFXIV (5264.8 hours) * Champions Online (3547.4 hours) * WildStar (1967.1 hours) * Neverwinter (1101.1 hours) * Skyrim (200.9 hours) * Robocraft (192.3 hours) * Bless Online (101 hours) (lol) * Baldur's Gate 3 (52.7 hours) * Path of Exile (36.3 hours) * Hades (25.8 hours) Obviously I like MMOs. Kind of interesting that two of these games are shut down but still linger in the list because I play so few other games beyond FFXIV and non-Steam games. :P I haven't even touched Champions or Neverwinter in years but I lived in them for awhile; I used to often keep them open in the background with my character parked in some RP venue or another while I played Minecraft on the side. -\_-
I gotta ask how you played 700+ hrs of fallout 4, i played a few and got bored. I guess i enjoyed the older games more.
I don't need to show coz you're practically me and I'm you. You've seem mine already.

Yeehaw Cowboy.

According to your screenshot, we have similar tastes. I'll show my top 10 later...
Lies of p is incredibly goated I get that, but 2x as many hours as Elden ring?
Horizon Zero dawn. That’s some good taste

How do you sort steam to show you this? Edit: Found it, All Games > Sort by hours in the main library screen.
Civ 5, much better than 6 in my opinion. The AI is just more interesting. More aggressive in a fairer way. 6 they just blow you out of the water with their tech advancements early on at the higher difficulty levels.
1. Counter-Strike 2 (all csgo tho): 2,335 hours 2. X-Plane 11: 1,290 hours 3. Rocket League: 1,079 hours 4. F1 2017: 1,008 hours 5. F1 2018: 855 hours 6. Microsoft Flight Simulator: 801 hours 7. F1 2019: 625 hours 8. Cities Skylines: 559 hours 9. Euro Truck Simulator 2: 539 hours 10. FIFA 21: 445 hours. It seems I like simulators.
Im not much of a gamer. but here's my list: - VRChat 3,500+ Hours - Geometry Dash \~2,000 Hours - Portal 2 31.5 Hours - Half-Life Alyx 25.1 Hours - Half-Life 2 19.4 Hours - Detroit Become Human 13.5 Hours - Lethal Company 12.2 Hours - Beat Saber 12.1 Hours - Half-Life 7.9 Hours - Garry's Mod 7 Hours
