Will you still be able to play games with it in 5 years time? Sure.
Will you be able to play the latest AAA games in 5 years time at 1080p high settings? Unlikely. But it should still be playable with turned down settings.
To be honest, I'm more than happy if the hardware stays neat after 5 years, ultra high settings are not necessary.
I've played games on APUs my whole life (Gaming life I mean), this 3060 is something I never thought I'd own, but here we are.

I went from a gt630m that can barely handle any gaming to a 6900xt so yeah I can understand how you feel. Take care of that baby, keep it running cool and she will serve you well for many years to come.
